I attended a private event at the Icebar recently… open bar, and free food… yes please! The food that they pass around was oh so tasty… the staff was knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. When it comes time to brave the storm and enter the Icebar itself, they give you a jacket and gloves, I get cold very easy so I put on two jackets! BRRRRRR!!! Everything inside is made out of ice including the bar, your cup etc. The bartender was extremely nice and talkative which was surprising considering how cold it was in there. I could only stay in 5 min. increments. When visiting Orlando Icebar is a must see!

SERIOUSLYOVERPRICED !! Ordered 8 small rum/cokes which came out to $ 80… Really !! This place is definitely not worth $ 10 a drink, maybe if they priced their drinks a little better, they would have more than 15 people in their bar. There are a lot of other bars in the area to go to that offer better prices and bigger drinks. On the flip side, the DJ was good. The crowd was so so.

We were here for a special work event. Drinks were free and we had access to the actual ice bar. Everything was good, from drink to the ambiance. Music was really good and everybody was dancing to the music. To get to the actual icebar, you grab a coat and step to this sub-zero world where everything is frozen and even drink glasses are made of ice. It wont be a hang out zone as it is too cold for any period of time longer than 10 minutes. It was pretty exciting though and we enjoyed that. Overall, this place would probably not be our usual hangout spot, but was definitely a pleasant experience.

Whether you’re a sun-seeker or like it colder than the shady side of an iceberg, you have to check out the Ice Bar. I was in Orlando at a convention with about 22,000 people and when we heard they had an Ice Bar. Two of friends and myself hopped an Über from the hotel and got there in about 20 minutes. Since we were first timers, the girl at door explained to us how it all worked. There are 2 bars, the Ice Bar and the Fire Bar. The Fire Bar is where it all starts. There was menu of price packages that covered your entrance and gear to enter the IceBar. I choose one that was about $ 30. For my money, I got entrance, a jacket, gloves and 2 drink tokens(1 for IceBar and 1 for Fire Bar). This also included in and out privileges to the Ice Bar. For an extra $ 10, I was offered a fur coat upgrade but I wasn’t feeling pimp that night, so I declined. So, once we got suited, we took the obligatory selfie outside the ice door and then promptly stepped into the freeze zone. It was cold but not as cold as I imagined it would be. It really depends on your level of tolerance. It as also empty, but we didn’t mind. One thing it definitely was is nothing less than AMAZING! The color effect, the ice, the bar, the seating were all ice blocks that had us reaching for our cameras before we even had a drink. The music was pumping some good tunes, the bartender was hyped and the atmosphere was one of those never forget it, stop and take it in kind of places. Eventually, I used my blue chip to order a drink and got a top shelf Bombay Sapphire and tonic. Later I used my red chip in the Fire Bar and had another one. When you’re traveling and making memories, it’s not always about the cost. Honestly, I would’ve paid $ 50 for the experience. My only regret is that we didn’t get better pictures.

My husband and I stopped by on our last night in Orlando. Staff was very friendly. The icebar portion wasn’t as bad as I thought. It was still cold nevertheless. The ice sculptures were nice. Quick in and out. The Fire lounge helps you to warm up. I would definitely go back to the Fire lounge portion again. Nice all around experience for tourists.

I was so disgusted with this place! My friend and I wanted to go to this place because we saw it on the Travel Channel and it looked like a kool place to go in Orlando. So we brought a groupon which included 2 admission, coats and appetizers. Well we went on a Friday at 11pm and it was dead. Then we was told the kitchen was CLOSED at 11pm. Where they do that at? But to make up for it they gave us a free upgrade to fur coats. So we keep the party going and went into the ice bar section and it had nice ice sculptures and Also I liked the mood lighting. But it was girls in there too drunk and falling on floors. They must of preparty before they got there because the drinks was Overpriced and Weak. Needless to say we only stayed a hour. This club is wack!

I’ve been out to IceBar twice. The staff is great. I had awesome service both times. It’s not a place I’d want to go to every day, but it’s fun place to go for a special occasion. The Icebar part is not meant to hang out in for a long period of time. If you come here, you’ll spend most of your time in the«fire» bar. When you are hanging out in the fire bar, if you include the designated hashtag, then your pictures do show up on the television in the fire bar.

Second visit here didn’t nearly measure up to the first. I bought another Groupon based on the value I received last time, but ended up wasting $ 25. The Groupon included admission, one cocktail and an appetizer, however when we arrived we were allowed in free because it was lady’s night. I was still hoping to use the Groupon for a drink and an appetizer, but were told by the bartender that they were not serving food that night… BOOO! Wednesday’s are billed as Ladies 80’s nights, however the music was mostly contemporary with some dance versions of 80’s songs mixed in. Pretty sure I won’t be making it back to Ice Bar by the time this Groupon expires. Despite these disappointments, we had another«cool» experience in the actual Ice Bar. The bartender was great, and served us exceptional cocktails. It’s quite a neat experience being that cold but letting the cocktails warm you from the inside. Definitely something everyone should try once, but do not purchase the Groupon unless you want to get ripped off like I did.

Got a deal on Groupon for this place! I thought I was going to be in a jacket all night, so didn’t think i had to dress up. I went wearing some gray workout shirt and mc hammer pants! We got there and everyone was dressed up! I was mortified and embarrassed. The bouncers talked me into coming in with what i had on. I felt so underdressed. Everyone seem to be staring. The groupon i got included entrance to the ice bar with one drink and one appetizer. We went straight to the ice bar. Got our jackets and our tokens for drink and food. This place is nice and absolutely cool! Everything was in ICE! The drinks was served in ice cups! We were definitely tourists for sure. I took pictures of everything. I had strappy shoes on and my toes were freezing. Decided to leave the Icebar and head out to the Fire bar. NO ice, but there was a dance floor, Dj and whole bunch of pple dancing. Ordered our appetizers and while we waited for food me and my friends dance our butts off. I was embarrassed at first but after a drink or two I didn’t care anymore. Definitely a place to check out at least once!

Very fun night! Drinks and food were priced fairly well for a tourist trap. Nice experience, something you should do at least once.

You have stop in at least once while your in the area. Don’t cheat yourself at the cool(literally) experience of drinking on ice(all pun intended). The bartenders are super friendly. The drinks and food are good and reasonably price(I mean it’s a tourist attraction and I still don’t think it was to pricy for that honestly). I’d check it out again if I was ever back in the are.

This was a fun, one time, touristy bar experience. These gimmick-y bars are not always my cup of tea, but my friend had her heart set on going here. We looked into both this bar, and minus5 which is literally a 5 minute walk down the street. We chose this one because cover was cheaper and you are able to take your phone in and take your own pictures. The other bar makes you lock up your devices and they take professional photos that they will then sell to you. At the entrance they were doing a «spin the wheel» type promo to win free shots or drinks. Me and my girlfriend spun, but we didn’t win anything. Once inside, there are many options for entrance. This place has 2 bars: Fire bar and ice bar. Fire bar has no cover. Ice bar does. It’s $ 20 to enter and get a coat and gloves(or you can upgrade for $ 10 to a fur coat. But those didn’t look that nice). Another option, and the one we chose, was $ 30 for entrance, a drink at the ice bar, and a drink at the fire bar. The ice bar is very small, but there were only about 15 other people in there so it wasn’t too bad. The drinks and shooters are served in an ice glass. We got our drink and sat on a fur covered ice block. Unfortunately, mine melted all over me(that’s my luck! Wet butt for the rest of the night). I had the orange cream drink, it was strong and delicious. Overall, we only stayed in the ice bar for about 20 minutes since it was very cold and there wasn’t much to do. Next we moved to the fire bar, which is a much larger bar with a dance floor and night club feel. We both had the flaming rum punch which was delicious. Overall, it was a fun vacation experience, but I wouldn’t go back just to hang out.

If you’ve never been to anything like it, Icebar is fun. Be sure to get that check in bonus! We came here using a Groupon, and it was totally worth it. Even though the ice room is totally made of ice, it’s not oppressively cold. Maybe it’s because I’m from the Midwest…

Meh. This is a one time thing and then only if you can get a discount. My friend purchased a groupon that included a drink in the Ice Bar and appetizer at the Fire Bar. It’s a neat little room with ice sculptures and everything made of ice. It was a little crowded when we first went in which made it more difficult to take pictures in such a small space but not a problem since people don’t stay long due to how cold it is in there. The drinks are small and expensive but the bartender was super nice. We had the meatballs and gravy french fries at the Fire Bar and they were good. The servers were really nice and attentive here, too. Overall it was a good experience. I’m glad we went and now we know what it’s like but not something I need to do again.

This is worth doing at least once. A little expensive, but worth it to see the ice bar. It just looks fantastic and the drinks are served in ice glasses! There are sculptures, a throne, and even the tables and bar are made from ice! A fun experience and a very good way to escape the Florida heat! They do give you coats and gloves as it is very very cold inside the ice bar. A regular bar is available too if you do get too cold.

We pre booked our tickets before going to the ice bar, when we arrived we were given the jackets(normal ones as you have to pay extra again for fur!) Went into the ice bar which is a great experience, ice sculptures, seating etc. The drinks are massively over priced but as you would expect in something like this. It is a good experience but as you can imagine you can only stay in the bar for 30mins at the most as it’s freezing so for what it costs it is very over priced! When you walk out the bar you walk into a red ‘fire’ bar but this is nothing special and we didn’t stay for another drink as they are over $ 8 – 10 each! We headed to BB Kings right up the road and stayed there till it closed!!!

Touristy, gimmicky, and exactly what you think it is. Also, I’m a local, so, not their target audience. Cool(huehue) joint, you wear a heavy coat and drink from ice cups. You pay a lot of money for this experience and your time is limited in the chill chest, but go in there, get a photo, get some Facebook likes and go somewhere else.

Great time! The ice bar itself isn’t a large area but still awesome. The drinks were all delish! Only downside was the music.

If it weren’t for the ice, I’m sure they’d go out of business(and this would be 1 star) however… the staff was very friendly, especially the coat attendant and the bartender in the icebox, he made it a point to make sure everyone was happy and taken care of. Also, the DJ was playing decent music and keeping the crowd going. The fire in the drinks that’s also a nice touch too. Unfortunately, they do not put any equivalent to real alcohol in their drinks. We got an Amazon deal that featured 4 drinks for a couple so we thought that would be cool. They were purely water down juice, even though we ordered 4 completely different drinks. It defeats the purpose of being a bar when you are not serving liquor and it’s even worse when you are overcharging patrons, and making them think you’re giving them real drinks. We still made it a fun time on our own, but alcohol would have been nice! I’m excited to go to a real Ice Bar so I can lower this one’s stars =P

Good if you can get a discount. This is a novelty bar and in the heart of Orlando so of course their prices are going to be exorbitantly high. The only reason I came is because my friends and I got Groupon deals(I believe $ 15 for entry, fur coat and 1 cocktail). We came on a Friday night around 10pm and the place was dead.(Maybe because the normal rate to get in is so expensive?) The dj sucked which was disappointing because what do you do when you’re stuck with awful music? Drink more so you forget how awful the music is… The actual«Ice Bar» which is inside the club is pretty small. Very cool, both figuratively and literally. I just wish it was larger because that’s what you’re really paying for is the novelty of being surrounded by ice. There are several cool sculptures like chairs and a fireplace and the place faux animal furs on the seats. They installed special lighting effects to make the ice glow different colors which really adds to the overall effect.
