I love IKEA. Originally from Upstate NY, IKEA isn’t around. Service wasn’t truly a factor with this experience besides our cashier, Kevin. He was very kind and made the check out process super simple. IKEA has things that are perfect for new homeowners or people that recently moved. My bed frame is from IKEA, and most of our small simple decorations /kitchen gadgets are from IKEA. The area was less frantic and more simple to get into than the Atlanta location, but the layout was essentially the same. Unless you really know your way around, I’d say follow the main path or you’ll end up being lost. Give yourself more time than you think to shop here, there’s very little in-and-out at IKEA.

Went into the idea restaurant yesterday, it’s cafeteria style, with only four or five options. The food was really good, decent portions for the price. The seating area was decently clean, you have to pick up your own trays… But you would assume that be somebody wipe tables down and sweep garbage that has fallen on the floor. I believe that was the only thing that was lacking with a clean inside of it

Any IKEA we go to we end up loving. They do a phenomenal job at setting these places up that make you want to redecorate your entire house but you know that it’ll never come out that way. As far as this specific IKEA goes, it’s standard. They tend to all look the same. Which is good but not great as far as reviewing specific ones. This one is clean, the employees were friendly enough, the bathrooms worked, and the lines to pay moved quick enough. Not sure what else to say but I’ll most likely be back.

Cute furniture and accessories, lighting, textiles, mattresses and entire kitchens. Add Swedish Meatballs, lingonberry sauce and mashed potatoes and you’ve a recipe for success. Basically, there’s everything you need to set up a home. One could live inside this vast store. It might not be everyone’s cuppa tea but for those that can’t afford Haverty’s or Scan Design, it’s a boon.

Thank you, IKEA, for an easy return policy and system. I’ve shopped here a number of times and all but once were employees so helpful, efficient, and kind. And I think this one was having a pretty bad day. It happens. Prices and unique items are great. You can’t go expecting the best quality, but definitely some fun purchases. Weekends starting around 1pm are CRAZY! And, of course, the holidays. You may get a few glares if you don’t follow the directive arrows on the ground, but when you know what you want– go get it! The arrows are a great tactic to organize the crowds and keep potential chaos in control.

Ikea is overwhelming and exhausting. It feels like you are going to Disney World, there is so much to look at, a lot of walking, crowds, and long lines. Impossible to view everything even if you plan for a full day, and you should definitely plan a full day to visit here. Everyone raves so much about IKEA so I was very excited to finally get to see what all the fuss is about. Yes, there are some amazing prices and great rooms to give you good ideas for decorating every room in your home. Similar to the Home and Patio show, without an admission charge. You will still invest time and effort to actually getting items you pick out. We were shopping for the Pax closet organizers. Unfortunately the planning tools are not very user friendly so it took hours to put together the units we wanted. Finally we did and then realized you have to put together a list of where to find every item in the warehouse to «pick» your items. We wanted to purchase and pick up later when we had a truck but you cannot do this, If you purchase you have to take with you that same day or have delivered. Unfortunately to have it delivered is rather pricey, locally it was $ 100 and a couple of hours away where we live, it was $ 350 so not worth the sale price to purchase that day. To purchase online and have it delivered from the warehouse was a little better at $ 114 but half of the items we wanted were out of stock for purchase online, which you do not get informed of until you are trying to check out. It would be helpful if the website would let you know what is and is not available online before you put together a large unit only to have it edit is when you try to purchase. You cannot even put it on back order, if you attempt to buy something and it is out of stock, you only have the option to delete or add it to a shopping list for later. The family savings program is worth signing up for, since it is free and I am pretty much sure everyone who goes to Ikea joins this program. It is a way to make you feel like you are getting an even better deal on your purchases. The family cafeteria is just that, a cafeteria, but we had to try to much talked about Swedish meatballs. They were okay, but certainly not worth standing in the long cafeteria line to go back for again. I would skip eating here unless you just have to eat during your shopping experience. So here are some tips from my first time experience visiting Ikea. Have a plan for specific items you want to shop for. Create your shopping list online in advance. Check in store availability just before going to the store. Bring a vehicle big enough to carry every item you intend to purchase. Wear comfortable shoes, bring some strong assistants, and go in prepared for your mission. If you want to browse for other fun finds, plan a full day visit and eat a good breakfast before you go. This will reduce hunger anxiety and stress. I will go back, keeping my own tips in mind and hopefully next time have a successful mission.

Came here Friday night with a specific buy in mind and so thank god for the shortcuts, were in and out within 40 mins(included some time window-shopping). Finding a parking spot was also easy, albeit we had a wee bit of a mini-hike. Also, I had to use the loo and there were x3 toilets out of commission — thank god there wasn’t a massive line to use the ladies! There are 20 cash registers upon checkout, but at that time of the night only 3 were open — actually we lucked out as they opened up a 4th register as lines were getting a bit long, so again, lucked out as were able to pay and get done pretty quickly. BTW — The store in Orlando had these funky shopping hybrid bag– carts that haven’t seen before so that was pretty cool.

I’ve been coming for years now and I absolutely IKEA! You can find almost anything in here for your basic house need or food need. I like to think of this business as an attraction to explore and have fun in. You start your journey on the escalator up to the floor-show or display rooms. If you do not want to go to the displays or want a bite to eat before the walk, then make a sharp left turn up top. The floor-show offers unique designs of possible room ideas from bedrooms to kitchens. They put together all the products they offer to provide you live examples of the furniture. Great idea. Once done with the walking tour, you can start shopping for the items downstairs. Kitchen tools, bedroom stuff, paintings, lights, rugs, boxes, and other household small things comes first. Then at the end you can find your furniture in the warehouse setting. Before check out, I love to check out the, «As is» section on the far right. You can find some fabulous deals on things that may be a little damage or worn out. You never know what you will find in there. The check-out experience is what made me choose 4 Stars. A lot of registers, but not all are open. It takes a long while to check out. Also, bring your bags because they do not provide bags. Or you can purchase one of their huge blue bags. I love the little grocery section because they offer some yummy treats in here. I would highly recommend coming here to shop or look around or grab a bite to eat at the café. The products are cheap indeed and will last as cheap. The Do-It-Yourself furniture is a great learning tool, but the products will not last long. I think this furniture is perfect for college students or someone living on their own for the first time. Think of it as a temporary furniture.

Regarding the cafeteria: Lingonberries are like cranberries but better. Combined with the Swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes, they are delicious. Go for Swedish meatballs over chicken, if you’re looking for the best flavor. The lingonberry juice is quite tasty as well. The store is cool. You probably want to have an idea what you’re looking for when you get there but it’s fun just to walk through the showrooms. I have various Ikea products in my home. The furniture doesn’t last forever but the accents have lasted me a long time. One of my favorite products is the IKEA Diginet. It’s a great tool to display photographs. Overall great experience. If you like candy, be sure to make yourself up a bag of yummy and interesting gummies.

It’s IKEA, what more can I say? It’s nice having it nearby. Each visit doesn’t feel like a make-or-break trip. It’s always busy here, but not chaotic. My wife and I like to check out the As-Is section. You can find some great stuff there. It’s usually stuff that people have assembled and then discovered doesn’t work in their home. We saved over $ 50 on a Malm desk and glass topper yesterday. There was a disassembly station nearby with tools for us to break it down. It fit in our car just fine after that. It’s not the kind of store I just go to casually, but cool nonetheless.
