I am writing as a longtime customer of over 2 years with frustration since the conversion to Elaise. It’s extremely disappointing as a Spa Illuminata laser patient that if I have an emergency and need to reschedule that any appointment is over 2 months out. It is already frustrating enough that the laser techs are telling us that we should come back after 6 weeks and then we can’t get an appointment for 8 – 10 weeks but to then be put off for 2.5 more months is terrible customer service. I do understand that they are selling many groupons and online deals however if you cannot employee enough staff to provide the services you will lose customers, especially since I feel at this point I’m losing effectiveness to my treatments due to the long waits and rushed appointments each time I am there. I have referred 3 or 4 other people to your spa and at this point I will no longer be doing that and I am looking at taking my business elsewhere as well.

It’s a shame that the staff of Illuminta Medical Spa are so rude. The girls at the front desk(orlando location) are so rude and barely acknowledge their own customers. If I hadn’t purchased a package of 6 I wouldn’t ever go back. They lack class and customer service; two essential qualities in the cosmetic field. Half of the time there is not an available appointment until two months later. Save your money and take it somewhere else! There are dozens of laser hair removal spas in this city.

No idea where these other reviewers went but I’ve had nothing but frustration. They overbook themselves ridiculously. Zero flexibility on time or hours. Worst of all, ITDOESN’T WORK! I signed up to have laser hair removal on my beard(face & neck). I went for the 1st five treatments and by the last one, it just started to look like it might work. Wrong. Supposed to have treatments every 6−8weeks but had to book appt’s 2−3months apart because they have no openings. Not even going to bother going to the last appt cause its been 4 months since my last session and now it looks like I never went at all. Absolutely no change, except that my wallet is lighter. And, oh yes, they don’t miss any opportunity to tell you that they accept tips! When I first started, I voiced my concern that I wasn’t seeing any results. «It’s fine. Hair grows in cycles. We just need to complete the treatments,» they said. By the last session, the tone had completely changed to: «Well, everyone is different and you may need additional treatments.» Lucky for me they were«running a special.» I’m not kidding. They said they were running a special and I just needed to sign up for 6 more treatments! I’ve wasted enough time and $$$ with you. No thanks.

I have completed two treatments so far and when I realized that I am dreading going to my next appointment, I thought I should write a review to help those of you who have not purchased your Living Social /Groupon /other prepaid certificate yet save yourselves some time and frustration. The review by Amanda J. is dead on. You can tell she spent a lot of time writing a review that detailed her experience. My experience has been EXACTLY the same, and so has the experience of two other people I know. The staff is extremely rude and could care less about your time. It is such a pain to schedule an appointment and if for whatever reason you need to reschedule your appointment, don’t expect to do so without a lot of grief and delaying your treatment by several weeks. I would gladly pay more to go somewhere else, but once they have your money, you’re stuck. Save yourself the heartache and mistreatment and go somewhere else. I wish I had.
