Dr. Grimes is the BEST dentist I’ve ever been to. He is very knowledgeable, sincere, and inexpensive. I have severe dental anxiety and needed a LOT of work done including fillings, root canals, and extractions and he handled everything beautifully. I would recommend this dentist to anyone.

Dr. Grimes was my dentist since childhood. He is a kind, gentle man who always amazes me with his memory of my family. Over the years he has treated not only me but my Mom and sisters too. Even my family members that are «big chickens» when it comes to a dentist visit were at ease with Dr. Grimes. His staff is likewise very gentle and friendly. They remember your name, what is going on in your life and the names of your relatives.
Once in college I tried another dentist, just for a teeth cleaning. Not only did it hurt (and my teeth hurt for days afterwards) but they told me I needed a filling. When I saw Dr. Grimes for a second opinion he said I did not need the filling. I have never had any pain from cleanings or fillings from Dr. Grimes’s office. The fillings I did get as a child never gave me any problems, and they are decades old.
His new Waterford Lakes location is modern and clean, much better than his old Goldenrod location. The ONLY reason I didn’t see him this year is because I’ve moved an hour away to Apopka. Believe it or not I actually made the drive to see him until my last cleaning when I found another dentist closer to home that I like (now with a toddler I don’t have time to make that long drive to Grimes). Dr. Grimes is worth the hour drive and I would recommend him to anyone.
