This is definitely a nice school cafeteria. The food quality is mediocre, service at a counter feels like another BK, with the difference that they don’t serve fries, but you have a choice of baked or fried potato chips, not in bag, but served as a fancy side dish. The salad bar is bad, the pasta dishes and the soup most likely are prepared by a factory down the street. Bad experience overall, try the soup only if you are prepared to be sickened by the thick creamy mess with fake Chicken. I loved however, the self serve all you can have soft serve ice cream, the only thing I had for lunch after paying for bad food.

The Italian Sub is probably one of the best in Orlando. The meat is sliced fresh in front of you. It’s their trademark. The bread is soft and fresh. The employees are in a good mood. I have not been able to put my finger on why its so special, but it is probably one of the best sandwiches you will ever eat. You crave it, you want to go back. They have small, regular and giant(two regulars). I used to always order the giant, but it is a lot of food and enough for two people. I was told that if you are from up north, nothing else comes close to this sub. Mike’s Way is the best. My favorite thing is the place is clean, spotless and the bathroom is clean(quite a feat in downtown Orlando!)

Typical sub shop. They shave your deli meat on the spot. The bread is decent. I ordered an Italian Mike’s way which is drenched in vinegar and oil. I like it that way but if you don’t like it a bit soggy then opt out on that. The inside atmo is pretty sub shop standard. Always clean. They have a self serve station for drinks and chips and a general seating area. They also have outside seating in the front. They have this mini sub option that like 3″ long. I found that kind of funny. I guess that’s a snack size for a kid or something. The sub maker was ok. He didn’t really listen well but other than that no biggie. Overall it was good, nothing to write home about.

First time ordering here and Loved It! !! Ordered online quick and easy and order was perfect. Delicious highly recommend the chicken cheesesteak. Closest sub taste to NJ subs out here. A little pricey but worth it to get a whole sub split with a friend

I usually pass on any Jersey Mike’s because I have been to several in different cities and they have all been bad experiences. This one is no different. Unfortunately, we have someone in our office that for some odd reason always wants their subs when it’s his turn to pick(come on, it’s just a sandwich!) Bad service every time. Today takes the cake. I called at 11:30 am to make a catering order for 11 boxed lunches. The girl that answered the phone was rude and without any word abruptly handed the phone to the general manager who asked me to call back at 2 pm because he was too busy to take my order. If it were up to me, I would never order from them again. As it is, someone else will have to call these orders in because I refuse to deal with them anymore.

I guess their excuse is that they’re so busy being downtown… not the cleanest place in the world and less than stellar service

When you don’t want to deal with the crowds at the trendy restaurants and hipster bars or spend a ton of $$, Jersey Mike’s is open fairly late and is a good, dependable option for some late night grub. I usually rotate between the turkey and provolone or the housemade tuna fish(you have the option of white or wheat) and request it Mike’s Way– which just means dressed with onions, lettuce and tomatoes and doused with vinegar, oil and spices. All subs come in 3 sizes from mini(5″) to giant(14−15″). The menu has a nice selection of cold and hot subs and wraps. Not to mention that you can make any sub into a salad if you want to skip the bread(but WHY). Drinks are self serve and there is plenty of seating with some tvs in the dining area. I’ve also been here on a weekday at lunch and the line gets pretty backed up so keep that in mind. They do offer the option to call ahead and place your order for pickup so that might save you some precious time. Either way, pretty filling food for the Church St. area at an affordable pricepoint!

Decent for a chain and reasonable service. Food is good yet not local. Staff is always training. Specials are worthwhile. Check for a coupon online.

Tried this place for the first time today because I had a coupon that was expiring. Glad I didn’t pay full price. I had a Roast Beef & Provolone made Mike’s Way which includes lettuce, tomato, spices and vinaigrette and oil. All I can say is I liked the chips and soda. The meat was tasteless, even with the spices, and there was entirely too much bread to fillings. Stick with Subway or Publix for a good sub.

This was an absolutely wonderful salad on good tasting bread; a true dieter’s delight. I hope I can just chalk the experience up to the particular pale almost anorexic person slicing the meat who may get a kick back on meat that isn’t served at the end of the day. I had what must have been a quarter pound of roast beef on their large sub. When you are biting into the sandwich you realize that there was a single layer. The bread is fresh and good, the tomatoes are as ripe as you will find anywhere and they have a tasty pepper relish. The taste hands down was better than subway and Jimmy Johns but this is why I avoid chains. Corporate decides it is profitable not to put meat on a sandwich. Dress it up enough and the American Public won’t notice. A few glances around the place tells me they are probably right and that is why they have ten area locations. I don’t care who they are fooling, the amount of meat on the sandwich was pathetic. For a small roast beef, chips and a drink it will cost you about ten bucks. Sorry, I am not dropping another ten on this meatless wonder.
