I love you, Friday! i hate when i have to go on rides all by myself… but you gotta do what you have to do to have some fun! even if its doing it all by yourself! Journey to Atlantis was one of my favorite rides in sea world… but then again sea world is really limited when it comes to roller coasters… the ride was short but the wait to get on the ride is long! don’t being any electronic… you will get wet!

Probably one of the most baffling awesome rides ever built. This ride has it all! It has mimes in the pre-show, it has a cool indoor pirates of the caribbean esq show scene where you discover atlantis. It then throws you down a giant water drop. but just when you think it is over it turns into a water coaster where it throws you around and back and finally into a giant splash down. This ride will get you SOAKED!!! But on hot Florida days that is perfect! One thing that is truly baffling is that they use the Beetle Juice sound track for the ride… hilarious and awesome! Remember don’t tell people about the water coaster part at the end… it is hilarious to watch them freak out!

A good premise but it’s an example of something seaworld needs to work on when it comes to rides… Good premise, good elements, but too short /lack of ending. This ride has fun dark ride elements which some might find campy but I personally enjoy, the twist is unique fun, but the ride could have used a bit more length.

Such a Fun ride. This was my first time in SeaWorld and from outside, the ride looked like a soaker. But in the sweltering heat of Orlando, who doesn’t want to get soaked in some cool aqua? But I wasn’t offended that i didn’t get as much soaked as I wish I would be. What really sealed the deal for me was the unexpected secret… what’s the unexpected secret? Should I reveal it? I don’t think so. I will leave it for you to try it yourself. The only thing I would say is that you won’t get soaked too much. And the extent to which you will get soaked, you will love it. And take my word for it — you will love the surprise at the end of the ride. :) Go for Journey to Atlantis for sure if you are at SeaWorld. It is a fantastic ride. Easily 5 stars. Fun Fun Fun Fun Fun!

This is one really, really fun ride and better than it’s somewhat counterpart Pompeii at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va that I really like. The ride is a big boat with three rows of seating, so at least 6 per ride. Lines get very long for this ride, but move pretty fast. Luckily our family did not have to wait an hour and used a Quick Que. Journey To Atlantis will not soak you most likely, so it’s funny to see so many at the park with ponchos. Yes, you could get pretty wet, but unlikely. As a matter of fact I think if your in the back of the boat you get more wet. Something I like about these boats is the water drains out, so you don’t get in and have your feet submerged in water. How about the ride, it’s really cool. A couple of smaller drops, one big drop and the best of all for me was the element of a roller coaster that does not involve water. It was totally unexpected and exciting. You also feel like you«get your money’s worth», it not a decent lasting ride. This is one for the whole family and should not be missed if visiting Seaworld.
