You walk in and soccer game is on and even the music is at a nice volume. You order at the counter they have the menu on four flat screen tvs. once you order you get a beeper which is kind of pointless because the food comes out by the time you get your drinks. It’s a nice portion size and you have seven sauces to choose from: jalapeño sauce, garlic sauce, Chipotle sauce, Zulu sauce, pink sauce(mayo ketchup), BBQ sauce, and pineapple sauce. A good combination is PINEAPPLE+BBQ+JALAPEÑO= HEAVEN.

I have to share about my «most recent discovery» — food-wise, of course: Junior Colombian Burger in Orlando, Florida. My husband and I wished we could have went once more before our drive back to Atlanta from Orlando after the holidays. We never even knew«Colombian burgers» were a thing! Late on a Tuesday night in December, the hubs(Ray S.) and I wanted to grab a «small» bite outside of Disney World after a full day at Epcot. Ray stumbled across the Unilocal listing for Junior Colombian Burger, and since they had great reviews, we decided to give them a shot. Boy, were we glad we did! Although they have four locations in Orlando, this place almost felt like a hole-in-the-wall. Junior Colombian Burger would probably be considered a fast casual restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and receive a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready to pick up. Since it was pretty late, probably around 10:30 pm, the hubs and I decided we would share something. They had a Cheese Burger Sliders(3) combo with fries and a drink($ 8.99), so we figured that would probably be a good option to share. After paying and receiving the buzzer, I went over to grab my soda from the fountain drink machine. Lo and behold, there was a section devoted to sauces to the right side of the fountain drink machine! *Cue heavenly choir singing voices* As a lover of dipping sauces for my fries(and not so much a fan of plain ol’ ketchup), my eyes widened. I decided to start with just the Garlic, Chipotle, and a BBQ sauce, and I would go back for others if I didn’t like them. I was a fan of all three sauces, but the Garlic Sauce did stand out as my favorite. Interestingly, the Garlic Sauce is green, possibly since there may be cilantro in it. I absolutely hate cilantro, so it was a pleasant surprise that I enjoyed it even with the ever-so-slight taste of cilantro. I’m thinking the garlic flavor overpowered the cilantro flavor. Win! Now, on to the main star of the evening… The sliders! After my very first bite, I knew I was hooked. WOW. There was Pineapple Sauce and crushed potato chips as toppings in the slider(as they are in their signature burgers)! The combination of sweet from the Pineapple Sauce and savory from the beef patty and potato chips was just perfection. So delicious. After each having one slider and splitting the third in half, we were SO tempted to get more. But since it was so late already, we didn’t give in.(As we drove off, the hubs was regretful!) Overall, Junior Colombian Burger gets 4 stars for their tasty twist on burgers and delicious sauces! Quite honestly, the rating would have been higher if the restaurant was cleaner since the tables looked dirty and in general, the place had a grungy atmosphere. This could have been because it was late and they weren’t cleaning as frequently? Not sure. Nevertheless, the next time we take a trip to Orlando, the hubs and I will be sure to stop at one of the Junior Colombian Burgers in the city — and for our own full-sized burgers!

I really went out of my way to go to Junior’s for their delicious cheese empanadas and after waiting 15 minutes for a fresh batch I came home with my take out order to find out that they gave me 3 chicken empanadas instead of what I wanted. CHEESE! Honest mistake but not the first time they’ve screwed up my order. Take out people beware– attention to detail is not their forte so please check before you leave the restaurant.

I stopped in with my wife to have a late lunch. We have been here before. I decided to have the double columbian burger basket(with fries) and my wife had the single basket. The orders were ready quickly. My burger felt as if it had been reheated. The patties were warm but not nice and hot. The burger included two burger patties, lettuce, tomato, some type of pink sauce and crushed potato chips on a seeded bun. A good combination. The order of seasoned fries was a generous portion and they seemed to hold up well and did not get soggy when they cooled. They place was a little dirty and needed the area by the condiments to be wiped down. They were not that busy and the employee behind the counter had plenty of time to clean. but he did not. There was a trail of dripped sauce on the counter and the ketchup packs were sticky. Also, the table looked like it had been wiped off however not very well. Then I took a look at their last health inspection results. Unsatisfactory! That creaped me out. They scored a 55(unsatisfactory) on 2÷15÷2015. I feel like I am going to get sick. I should have checked before I ate there. Considering everything, the reheated burger, the good fries and the need for better cleaning, I can only give 1 star. Pass that health inspection next time with an A or B and I will be happy to give another try Sorry, I would love to give more stars.

The veggie burger was ok. The fries were ok. The hubs got a double burger and said it was good. We liked the barbecue sauce. The jalapeño sauce was excellent. The tea had soured. The music was not for little ears. The restaurant was clean.

Junior’s is a nice Colombian burger chain in Orlando. The food is fresh and is great anytime of the day. The lunch rush is small here since there aren’t many businesses around, but the food and service is always good. I can’t say anything about the late night crowd like other Unilocalers have said, but it was OK for me.

We went late at night. The place was a mess. There was trash everywhere, the tables were dirty, like stuff had been left by people all day and never cleaned, the garbage cans were overflowing and dropping more trash on the floor, it was disgusting. That being said, I still choose to order a burger and fries and sit down and eat. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t that great either. This place is no Super Rico Colombian Bistro — it’s close, it’s trying to be, but the food isn’t remotely as good. Yes the burgers have potato chips on them and the Colombian sauces, but nothing was as good as at SRCB. Here, the chips have no crunch from sitting on the burger and being drowned in the sauces, the sauces aren’t as good, we tried all the sauces and ended up only using 2(ketchup and the garlic sauce). The fries were okay, I ended up dousing them in ketchup, garlic sauce and salt. I also order an empanada, big mistake, it was disgusting and I didn’t finish it. The chicken tasted like it was fresh — out of a can. Gross. I wouldn’t go back.

This place rescued us from wedding food, but did not live up to the hype. To start, I have been to Super Rico Columbian Burger and LOVED it, but this is nothing near as good. Yes, they have the same/similar sauces. Yes, they put potato on the burger. But the levels of deliciousness are nowhere comparable. The crushed up potato chips pretty much all fell off, and the remaining ones got really soggy. All of the sauces were very heavy and overly mayo-y. The chicken empanada was inedible. Tasted like canned chicken in too-thick dough. The fries were good though. Not worth the money, and even the wait for the food seemed too long. There was also trash overflowing the trash can and all of the empty tables were dirty and covered in crumbs.

This particular location was the first one I visited. I’m glad I tried them out! Got a double cheeseburger combo and having never tried them before, I enjoyed some of the unique toppings they use, in particular the pineapple sauce and crushed potato chips. Those unique ingredients work surprisingly well! The fries were done very excellently — crisp and not overly greasy. The outside of this location did raise a slight red flag in my mind due to the nighttime security bars, but the inside was very clean and I was impressed. Overall was happy with my experience and I’ve been going back to other locations closer to home since.

Driving by looked a little shady from my wife’s point of view. We voted as a family to suck it up and try something new. This place was clean and food was excellent, reasonably priced. Restrooms were VERY clean!!! The friendly staff was very accommodating with our large group of 10 and special requests! High recommended !! We will be back on our next trip to Florida.

Give me garlic sauce(and some pineapple too) or give me death! This burger is a revelation. There’s just something about the insanely delicious mixture of sauces and toppings on this burger that make it perfection. I usually order a double with everything on it, but still slather extra garlic sauce and pineapple on each bite. You just can’t have too much garlic sauce. When out-of-towners ask for food recommendations, this is on the top of the list. Not a disappointed person yet! No fuss. No pomp and circumstance. It’s just an excellent burger. While burger purists may find all the toppings to be a little intimidating, just try a bite before knocking it. I’ll take this burger over almost every other in town. It’s neck and neck with Five Guys. If you want something a little different, go to Junior Colombian. If you want a good, by the book burger, go to Five Guys. Food quality at all locations are about the same. The perk on South OBT is that it’s got plenty of seating. I’m moving out of Florida soon and this place is definitely going to be missed. Keep doin’ what you’re doing, Junior Colombian Burger!

I went to this restaurant based on all of the good reviews and I was very satisfied with my meal and service. I order the single cheeseburger and it was great so big I could not even finish it all! The fries were good as well and I love the garlic sauce. I will be returning in the future! Returned today with friends and the service was super slow even though there were only 3 other individuals in the restaurant. My fries were cold and the cheeseburger wasn’t that great nothing like my first visit. Not sure if the cook changed or what happened.

I was in the mood for a good burger and didn’t want Burger Fi, Burger 21, nor Five Guys so I decided to try this. The cashier guy wasn’t as friendly or welcoming when I walked in when I ordered. It’s sort of like Five Guys where you order at the cash register and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready. I ordered the single combo and it came with fries and a drink. The prices are really good, I only spent about $ 9 for all of it. They also have a sauce bar with 8 different sauces to choose from, which I tried them all. The burger was pretty good, tasted the same as any other burger joint I’d go to except crushed potato chips were added and some sweet sauce that I couldn’t tell what it was. The fries were seasoned as well but had a pretty average taste. Overall, I’d probably come again at a later date.

My wife forbids me to eat here for fear I’ll die eating my favorite meal: The Burger Dog. It is a hamburger topped with ham, a hotdog, and all the fixin’s and condiments. It is AMAZING. It is the forbidden fruit. And If I die of a heart attack some day — It very well may have been worth this indulgence. The restaurant is always clean. The staff, friendly. Well I never see anyone around lunchtime other then the guy who take our orders and money. But I assume whomever is cooking my meal is friendly. They play the 90’s satellite radio station at lunch time — adds the perfect audio backdrop to my impending myocardial infarction. «It’s something unpredictable, but in the end is right, I hope you had the time of your life.»

It’s a great place to get a burger. The sauces they put on the burgers are not traditional but it’s a good thing. I would recommend coming here at least once to try it out.

What can I say… I think the battle has been on with me for quite a while to find out who makes the best burger out there. For a moment I thought I could give that title to Five Guys even if they creep me out with all their peanut allergy notices plastered all over the place, and I’m not even allergic to peanuts but — Junior Colombian Burger is the REALDEAL. I have been here and to their other location and have never been let down. Their burger is slammin. Just talking about it makes me happy. A burger with crunched up potato chips and pineapple flavored may sound strange but words can be deceiving. Their late night hours especially on the weekends I’m sure serve the Freaks well but better to have yourself a real burger than a murder burger, especially after backin it up in the club all night– shout out to Krystals for holdin it down for all those years but there is new kid in town and has been for some time and they are making burgers LIKE A BOSS. They have a nice selection of different dipping sauces for their fries which because of these sauces take their fries to another level. While I have been a big fan of burgers with a fried egg in them there was no need for that with a Junior Colombian Burger. My son and wife both selective eaters love this place. My daughter always gets the veggie burger and she talks about how great it is. I’m pretty sure if she had a real burger she probably would divorce her Lil Veggie. Once did I order the double and regretted it and not because it was a bad burger but the taste of meat took over what is a delicious tasting burger thanks to the chips and sauce inside of it. For me I’ll stick to the single which is to date the best burger around. JCB

I’m not sure what a colombian burger is supposed to taste like but I saw potato chips on the burgers and I was sold! I ordered the cheese burger single combo and the boy had the cheese burger slider combo. Since we were there, we also ordered the chicken empanadas and salchipapas. This was way more food than we needed or should have eaten! The burger was really tasty and whatever sauce that was on it was a little bit sweet. It took me by surprise but I got used to it and really enjoyed it. The empanadas were ok. I should have known that the chicken would be shredded. I have issues with shredded meat, not sure why. I think I would have liked the cheese or beef ones better. As good as my burger was, the best part of the whole experience was the variety of sauces that they offered. There were 7 different kinds! And of course I had to try them all! My favorites were the garlic, zulu, and pink. Next time, I’ll order extra fries just so I can eat more sauce since eating sauce by itself is probably frowned upon.

Had the sliders and tried all their sauces. Zulu, pink, garlic, chipotle, pineapple. Liked mixing pink and garlic.
