This is our new place to go for our ice cream fix ! Kelly’s homemade ice cream is hands down the best ice cream you can get your hands on in central Florida. Our favorite flavor is the Chocolate peanut butter brownie. Insane. A genius idea to add brownie the mix. They even have a ice cream flight ! You can get four different ice creams in 4 homemade waffle cones. And you can bring pup for a pup-sicle!

How can you not like this wonderful place filled with vast favors of ice cream. My first visit here. I sampled the blondie and decided to go with that. Blondie was smooth, creamy and tasty. I will definitely bring my husband who loves ice cream.

Eff high cholesterol — EFF it!!! This place is adorable and has flavors like buttered pretzel and Mexican chocolate and Samoa and«guaranteed to please» chocolate PB brownie. $ 3.50 for a small ice cream — so long as it’s good, homemade ice cream; which this is. Clean, friendly, and super cute space that manages to be just as hip as the rest of Corrine Dr. without being too kitschy. There’s a space in here for kids arts and crafts and small cups are available at the water fountain. That the ice cream was delicious was almost an afterthought because I just witnessed a little girl kneeling down to tie her dad’s shoe out front. This place might just be Nirvana.

Kelly’s is the kind of neighborhood ice cream shop where people get caught up with each other on news of the the day — the kind about families, friends and our daily joys and concerns. Oh, and there delicious ice cream! Huge portions for the reasonably priced sundaes that can easily feed two people. They are community minded and are the one Orlando location that participated in last year’s #ubericecream.

Family friendliness — 5 out of 5 I love this place! I had always wondered why there was no local ice cream shop in Orlando. And then Kelly’s came along! Their shop is super cute and clean. The flavors are always amazing. My favorites are maple walnut(which you can’t always find outside the Midwest) and cake batter sprinkles. They have a bookcase with games and toys for kids and adults to use and hang out longer. They also have a party room you can book for kid birthday parties. You should go and go often!

This place is amazing! Boyfriend got Mexican chocolate and I got the Raspberry limeade which had real pieces of raspberries in it! I also got a quart of white chocolate Pinot Grigio which tastes heavenly. The store smelled so incredibly good with a huge flavor selection. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ll definitely be back. The only con about my trip is that I didn’t up size my sorbet, it’s wonderful.

Unique and traditional selections that all looked scrumptious. I got the birthday cake flavored ice cream and my fiancé got the butter pecan. Good size portions. I was a little disappointed they ran out of the puppy ice cream though.

I love homemade ice cream and this place knocked it out of the parks with flavors like Chocolate Fluffer Nutter and Graham Cracker. The serving size even for a small is really big and well worth the price. Also I was able to try both flavors for one price and it was so delicious. The young ladies working behind the counter were so nice and let you sample whatever flavors you wanted. I definitely want to make a return trip here. There are many more flavors to try as well as Sorbet and Shaved ice. I can’t wait to be back in the area!!!

Best. Ice Cream. EVER! If you haven’t been to Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream shutdown the computer/put down your phone and head there. RIGHTNOW! Kelly and Scott make tons of amazing homemade flavors that are sure to please everyone in your family/group. One of the coolest things they have now is an ice cream flight! You get 4 mini waffle bowls(that they make) with 4 scoops of ice cream. The flight is just over $ 8 and is a great deal. You(or you and a friend) are able to try 4 flavors. Or you could both order one and try 8 flavors! Ohhhh, I like this idea! Kelly’s does catering and they have an ice cream truck that can go to events as well. I’m already thinking about how I can have their truck at my next birthday party. Kelly and Scott are super friendly and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. Soon they will have ice cream cookie sandwiches and ice cream cakes available which sounds amazing!

I scream for ice cream — especially at Kelly’s. First stop was on a week night around 7PM and they had a constant stream of people coming in, and I know why. Their Ice cream is amazing. Creamy, flavorful, creative, just everything you want it to be. The waffle cones? Even better. Perfectly crispy, fresh, full of flavor and total enhancer. We picked the flight with the cake batter, strawberry, cookie dough, and cinnamon crunch flavors. Strawberry and cake batter were absolutely delicious, and rich. Definitely a must try.

You know how I know their ice cream is good? Dogs love them. I was here on a warm Saturday and saw an elderly couple with a dog come in for an afternoon treat. They each got an ice cream cone and gave their well-behaved dog what looked to be sweet potato flavored ice cream. Let me just say I had never seen a dog so happy in my life. That little nugget licked the ice cream like there was no tomorrow. Poor thing didn’t know how to bite into the ice cream so he was just licking it off the floor, but he was completely fixated on licking every drop of it. At that moment, all was good in the dog universe. I enjoyed mine too, of course. I had strawberry choco chip & mint. Fabulous!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Kelly’s ice cream!!! No seriously, if we’re out of it in my house someone’s in trouble haha 5 stars for the most delicious tasting, party in your mouth flavors around town! My absolute favorite is the cake batter with sprinkles, it tastes like you’re licking the bowl. My boyfriend is OBSESSED with their graham cracker flavor and some other ones I’ve sampled are the blondie, chocolate pretzel and keylime– all fantastic. Prices are on point, it’s $ 7 for a pint to take home and they have a rewards program that stacks up quickly(at least for me, not sure what that says haha). Of course besides the scoops of ice cream are lots of sundae and milkshake options, YOUWILLHAVE A HARDTIMEDECIDING! Luckily, the staff is super sweet and let’s you taste as much as you want. They have tons of seating and games and they have quickly turned this into a local family joint.

If I could give anyone more than 5-stars, Kelly’s would be the one. Taking over the spot of a business that I won’t mention, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream has become a jewel of the Audubon Park Garden District. Hands down, their ice cream is fantastic. Amazing flavors and so very friendly. As a huge fan of Mint Chocolate Chip, I was disappointed that they didn’t have it. It is the barometer I use to determine how good an Ice Cream shop is. After pestering Kelly and pleading her to make one, she told me she was working on one. She wanted to make sure it was right. When she told me it was done, I ran over and tried it out and by trying it, I mean ordered a large mint chocolate chip sundae in a waffle bowl with hot fudge, jimmies, whipped cream and a cherry. It was perfect. One of, if not THE best mint chocolate chip ice creams I’ve had. The other thing I will comment on is the Banana Split Sundae. THEY. DO. IT. RIGHT. …and one more thing. Their staff is fantastic. Very friendly, very prompt and very patient with the indecisive. I bring my four year-old niece whenever she is in town and it is her absolute favorite. When she left town, she wanted to make it a point to go by one more time to say goodbye to Miss Kelly. In today’s world, it’s nice to have a place like this.

I love Ice Cream! Who doesn’t love ice cream? In fact, if you don’t love ice cream, I don’t trust you. This lovely spot makes craft homemade ice cream & sorbets. They have a long list of unique and seasonal flavors and they are all made in small batches right here in Central Florida(WOOOP! #OrlandoMade #LocalLove)! They also have shaved ice, ice cream flights(YES! You can try various flavors in a flight, BRILLIANT!), sundaes, shakes, floats and morreeeeee! My absolute favorites: — Coconut — Blondie(it’s a fan fav and you will know why once you taste it) — Cake Batter n’ Sprinkles Flavors change daily tho so don’t be surprised if you walk in and there are all new flavors to choose from. I have requested Black Raspberry as a flavor. If you see Kelly around, chat with her about flavors! She is absolutely open to feedback and ideas. Love that about mom and pops shops who truly care about their customers.

Yummmmmtastic! This sweet little ice cream shop is a great addition to the area. All of the flavors I have had so far have been super delicious without being hurt-your-teeth deathly sweet. There is a good balance of the flavor and the creaminess of the frozen goodness. If you remember Lulu’s ice cream in Winter Park(RIP!) this is almost just as good. Almost because they do not seem to use the same type of heavy cream that made that ice cream so rich. A good replacement for my former favorite ice cream hut. It is nice to have a new quality ice cream shop on the block. I will be back again, and again. True confessions from an #icecreamaddict

5 Stars for ice cream I’d steal from a small child if it came to that scenario. That’s right, if it’s between me or little Timmy, you can bet your ass Andi’s getting her Mexican Chocolate ice cream and Timmy’s getting a scraped knee. Here’s a spot that illustrated what I dig about food trucks. They can serve as great incubators for businesses that can then move on to a brick and mortar location. Kelly’s still owns a truck and they’re out at many food truck bazaars, but they now have a permanent home as well. And it happens to be very close to my house. Which is either fantastic or problematic depending on how you look at it. My scoops of choice are the Mexican Chocolate and the Blondie. If it’s your first time make sure to try the Blondie– it’s their best seller for a reason and is filled with chucks of golden Oreos. I need to venture out now because these are safe choices and they’ve got some other surprising options just begging to be licked! I’ll end this review admitting that I never considered myself a fan of ice cream. And now I know why– I wasn’t having the homemade kind, just prepackaged store-bought. My stomach is a fan. My waistline is not. Luckily, stomach beats waistline in the rock, paper, scissors game of dessert.

Wow! Just wow! When you hang with the younger generation, you know that at some point you will have to stop at a froyo/ice cream shop. When this request came up, this one time, I was coincidentally driving right by Kelly’s. Being the conscientious person that I am, I parked in front of a 50 ft long green sign that read«Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream» to do my phone search for a froyo/ice cream shop in the area. But just before I got any hits on my search, I looked up and said«Well, why look any further, lookie here». Yes, I just realized I was magically parked in front of an ice cream parlor. I put my phone down and in the spirit of spontaneity I venture into Kelly’s without knowing if they were awesome, decent, or poor. I figured they were at least decent because the parlor was very spacious, they had more than two employees helping customers, a couple of families were sitting down enjoying their ice cream and, from the outside, I could see a «men» and a «women» restroom, and that told me this place was a «money». So, my boy got a Butter Pecan with something else, on a waffle cone, to test things out. He flipped out because it was so delicious. Seeing his enthusiasm, I got a Key Lime scoop with a Graham Cracker scoop, which makes a Key Lie Pie, basically. And it was like eating the best Key Lime Pie ever. I loved having a Key Lime Pie in a soft creamy way, it was just mind blowing. Of course, I would not have thought of mixing these two flavors if it wasn’t for the helpful girls behind the counter. The staff here deserves a gold medal, they are super helpful, knowledgeable, passionate, and they make you aware of the goodness that Kelly’s dishes out, like homemade waffle cones and other super great flavors. I visited this shop as many times as I could while I was in Orlando. Besides the Key Lime Pie concoction, I would say my second favorite is the Blondie, which has to be the best shake flavor ever invented. Other flavors, like the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, or the Chocolate with Heath & Caramel, are not only amazing but they are very intense in the way that every single flavor is represented. It is perfection in an ice cream scoop, Kelly’s truly masters the control of all the ingredients, and if you don’t believe me, have the Maple Walnut. Awesome flavors, awesome people, great spacious place, men and women restroom, what else do you need? PS: They also have Italian Ices and Wine Sorbets. The party goes on…

I’m developed an addiction to ice cream and this place is not helping. Y’all, this ice cream is the best I’ve found in town! Not just good. Real good! It was explained to me that they make all of their 16 or so flavors right there in the shop. One of my favorite flavors of all time is rum raisin, so naturally I bit the bait and bought a scoop. Best rum raisin I’ve ever had! It was dripping with rum, amidst a creamy vanilla base filled with juicy raisins. This is the good stuff Orlando. They brought rum raisin to a new level. I was surprised I didn’t get a little tipsy! I had samples of the cake batter & blondie. They were also incredible. All in all, this is your place for ice cream, friends. They are not messing around.

Well I had to check this place out because clearly it’s my namesake. If it’s Kelly’s, it has to be good right?! Well that is absolutely correct. I’ve seen this truck around town but it has always been during times that I haven’t been in the mood for ice cream.(I know… Is there ever such a time?!) Anyways– so I was in the mood for a treat when my mom was here so we went in to check it out. I tried a sample of the lavender vanilla but it was way too floral for me. I ended up going with the strawberry basil which was incredible. It was on their specials menu and I didn’t realize it was going to be sorbet, not ice cream, but it was so refreshing. The girl behind the counter was great, letting us try whatever we wanted. My mom ended up getting the Mexican chocolate ice cream which had nutmeg, cinnamon and a few other spices and it was really great, extra creamy and unique as well. They have tons of shaved ice flavors as well if you’re lactose intolerant or not in the mood for anything heavy!
