Dined here for the first time last night only because Benihana had a 2 hour wait and thats were we usually go when in the mood for teppan. We were not disappointed. I would have given 5 stars but knocked one off for some minor details I wasn’t happy with. The two hostesses were very cold and apathetic one gave a very quiet and low«welcome to Kobe» so I thought that was what the service level was going to be like the entire time but I was wrong. The service else wise was great! Our server was funny, energetic and very efficient. The cook was very nice also. They did serve a lot more food than what I was expecting. I was not expecting noodles and so many vegetables or the potatoes that came with my steak. The gripe I have with the food was first the soup was all broth and a just few tiny tiny pieces of mushrooms and scallions. I ordered the filet and my husband the chicken and shrimp the pieces of meat were just cut too large for our liking I didn’t notice until it was on my plate otherwise I would have asked for them to be cut smaller and also the chicken could have been trimmed better, it did have a lot of fat. I did taste my husbands shrimp and I did not like it at all it had a fishy taste that lingered in you mouth. My husband didn’t mind so much he said it tasted just okay. Other than that everything was very good. The 2 floor managers that were working were awesome as well. They made sure everything was good and I even saw one walking around with a pitcher to fill waters. Overall this place was pretty perfect and we will visit again.

Living in Orlando, there’s many different Kobes to attend. i. e Altamonte, Kirkman, UCF. Out of all of these locations, international is the best! It is so much nicer and cleaner than all of the other restaurants. We only waited a few minutes for our reservation, our server was great and it wasn’t too loud. Cannot wait to return!

The food was very good but the service was terrible. They were not busy and we sat and ordered right away. The food took over 45 minutes to arrive. We noticed other parties that came after us and received their food before us. Our server just apologized that our food was taking too long. The manager never came by and he even walked by our table several times. Needless to say we will not be eating at this location ever again.

I LOVEKOBE! … Something in their food makes me have an allergic reaction every time but I love it so much that I pop a Benadryl before I go! Lol the food is delicious, the hibachi chefs are entertaining and always cook my food first because I am allergic to seafood. They attempt to get to know the customers and start conversations while cooking. I love the white sauce I put it on everything! …It’s always clean. The staff is friendly.

Wow. I think everyone knows what to expect from a Japanese steakhouse. This place is by far the best I’ve experienced as far as Japanese steakhouses go. I had my standard filet and shrimp. I didn’t expect noodles, broccoli, carrots to come with it in addition to the rice, zucchini, and onions… etc. The food was cooked perfectly and the best I’ve had in this category of dining. The service was great as well. Our chef was very engaging and entertaining.

We went Kobe’s for my friend’a bachelorette dinner and it was absolutely amazing! The food was better than I had anticipated. Our server and cook were wonderful! The entire staff made our celebration even better. I got the chicken and it was perfectly cooked and the noodles and veggies were fantastic!

Tried the«Orlando Magical Dining» menu. They substituted a Publix cupcake for the advertised Japanese Gelato Trio & Hot Green tea. Skip this place. Our wait went long past the reservation time and then we drew a hibachi table with multiple screaming children. Dessert and check took so long to arrive I was just glad to be done with it. They won’t be getting a second chance from me.

Not the best of the Kobe chain but still a nice dinner. The food was well prepared. Not many steak options for a «steak house». Still the prices are the same as other Kobe(slightly higher than some) but the atmosphere was still nice(see pics). Right on I-drive in Orlando by sand lake road.

We frequent Hibachi places as we love the experience but this definitely fell short on expectations. Was pricey even for hibachi standards given the quality and service we got. Our order was messed up(TWICE), food was over cooked, and the flavor was sub par. It’s a touristy area so will get a lot of traffic but I recommend going elsewhere as there is much better stay away from the trap.
