Very modern and hidden hookah lounge. The staff is small but so is the lounge. It’s hidden upstairs above Kathmandu smoke shop. There’s a $ 10 cover which isn’t really worth it in my opinion, the hookah’s are also mediocre at best — they only offer Fantasia flavored which is alright but the packing of the hookahs & the frequency of coal replacements was okay, I had to call our waiters attention whenever we needs an additional coal. The seating is minimal as the Lounge is tiny — they have ottomans that are often used as seats but they’re not that comfortable. The hookah was $ 20 and there was a 18% gratuity already added for the okay at best service. Overall it was an okay experience. I’ve been wanting to try this place out, but there’s far better hookah places in Orlando and I don’t believe I’ll be returning because of the sheer price vs okay service. If you’re on a date then 2 would be okay for this establishment but other than that it’s definitely not a must go. Our waiter was incredibly friendly which was a plus and added a star.

This is my favorite hookah lounge. The atmosphere is awesome, the employees are super friendly and helpful and the prices are pretty good for the area. I’ll definitely be back! Only downside is the hookah selection is a little limited. But they make up for it with sick vibes and awesome staff. Floyd is really awesome! I’ll definitely be back because of him.

Last night was my first time experiencing Orlando’s night life. I searched through Unilocal and ran across this place. I was at first very skeptical as I had no clue where the lounge was located even after walking through the door. The lounge is actually upstairs inside of a smoke shop. You pay an entrance fee downstairs, receive a code for the door and you’re in. After a little hesitation, I figured why not and we went for it. Once we entered the upstairs, the entire atmosphere changed! The place is decorated in all white, the mood was very relaxing, the waitress was a sweetheart, the DJ was one of the best I’ve ever heard, great local artwork on the walls, it was a pleasure meeting the owner who is very down to earth and attentive to his guests. The night was perfect. This will definitely be a spot that I will visit every time I come to Orlando. I thank you for a great experience!

Wow wow and wow again is all I can say. First time visiting the downtown Orlando area with my bestie. The location is hard to find since the name of the Hookah spot is within another business upstairs. Once you get in some its relatively small, the atmosphere is AMAZING& so CHILL! I mean shit I would come back just to visit this spot and the prices were good and amazing staff! I mingled with so many people and if the mood was right I can see nothing but sexual stuff going on here based on the vibe haha . Definitely check out this location but on a day in not there so I can get in quick lol. I have nothing but good things to say about this joint. I only wish this was in my town cause they would know me by name lol . A must try!

We had heard about this hookah lounge from a friend and decided to try it out. When we got there we were told downstairs that it was 10 per person to get in. It was odd that we had to pay 30 dollar cover just to smoke a hookah but we were also told the hookah was 20 to smoke all night and it was the weekend so 17 per persons not too bad for a fun night. So we went upstairs and at first we were very impressed. Very stylishly decorated, nice lights, nice furniture, looked great on the surface. We sat down and were sort of greeted but the one employee working there was pretty rude and standoffish and that was the second thing that threw me off. There was large list of unique flavors which was appealing and the hookah came quickly when we decided on one flavor but here again was my third disappointment. There were plastic tips on the hoses but multiple times while smoking I got little chunks of stuff in my mouth! The hookah was obviously dirty and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Not only that but the employee ignored maintaining our hookah and coals, as well as the one other table that was there at the same time. He stayed in the back room on his phone the majority of the time. After we were ready to go, and we were not there long due to how annoyed we were at this point, we went to pay. And the employee tells us our grand total is 50 dollars… You can probably imagine how astonished we were at this total, especially since that is not what we were told downstairs. We tell him that’s not what we were told and he called the guy downstairs and told him not to advertise prices… Hah. We could have bought a new hookah for the amount that we paid for a dirty hookah and rude service here. Needless to say we have never and will never go back to this spot. It was a gigantic ripoff.

Ultra sleek & hip hookah lounge that’s hidden above a smoke shop. Kush is a bit pricey, but you’re paying for that small, chill, sexy SoBe vibe & it’s nice to change up the pace from the downtown Orlando scene. FYI — You will need a secret code to get into the lounge.

Maybe I’m just not used to doing hookah in this atmosphere but I doubt I will ever go here again. The place is extremely small, like a studio apartment. The furniture, albeit does go with the chic style of décor, just isn’t very practical. The couches feel cramped with just 3 people. Then if u have a group of 4, that person will have to sit uncomfortably on an ottoman. I would advise only coming here as a couple. When my party arrived, the four of us cramped around a tiny side table all sitting on ottomans. We managed to get one of the sofas when another party left. But we still had to wait about 30 minutes or so because there were no more hookahs left. Also, The waiter, which there was only one, didn’t clean off the table for at least 30 minutes when we sat down. I had to pay $ 2 for water… water! Can’t say much about the drinks as I didn’t have one, but the beer selection seemed okay. Overall, I can say this place does what it can to try to stay appealing. The décor really is interesting, and the DJ had me shoulder-shrugging and head-nodding all night. But the execution could be way better. The furniture, the service, and the prices. I forgot to add, there’s a $ 10 cover which is ridiculous. Maybe I’m spoiled from college days, where $ 10 could get u all-you-can-smoke. And u don’t have the option to take a look at the place and capacity before paying your money. Ugh. Either way, my 3 stars is for the DJ alone.

Tucked away upstairs of Kathmandu. It’s more like a «local only» spot. Been here a few times, good music, chill ambience. We always order a champagne and a hookah then head out for the night. Pricey.

After a recent trip to South Beach I have been OBSESSED with hookah. It is starting to be one of my favorite ways to relax and hang out with friends. I’ve been to Kush 2x now and am already looking forward to my next visit. It doesn’t get better than this! The location is in downtown Orlando and the hookah lounge is actually above a non-descript smoke shop. Walk in and the guy at the counter is super friendly and helpful. It’s a $ 10 cover on the weekends with a 2 drink minimum but it’s totally worth it. Once you pay the counter guy, he will give you the door lock passcode and once you walk up the stairs, it’s like you are transformed to a totally different world. The décor is ultra white«Miami» style and they have a DJ spinning great tunes. The space is small, only 5 table areas which would be the only downside but both times I’ve been there, we haven’t had a problem getting a table area to ourselves. They offer a huge list of flavors — mine fav is the orange sherbert! Also the drink menu is rather electic but in a good way. They serve beer, wine and non-alcholic beverages and I was surprised but excited to see they have such varieties as left hand milk stout to my favorite framboise lambic. The hookah service is top notch and the staff make sure to make regular rounds to switch out your coals. Also the staff is very friendly and accomodating and most importantly, seem to act AND look like they enjoy their job and their guests being there. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are a hookah addict like me!

Rude waitress and over priced for a small room and charged a conver lol. Really? It’s a hookah lounge not a Miami club.

Not very happy with my experience there multiple things ruined it for me. I did d like the fact that I had to pay $ 10 to get in no matter what plus the size of the establishment was very small and also the only selection of shisha was fantasia. I’ve been to multiple hookah lounges and mostly all of them have variety as well the price for the hookah it’s self was very steep plus for a repack was $ 15 that’s insane. To be completely honest I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

This is more less to confirm that the review given by, Danielle S. Fort Walton Beach, FL is complete crap. For one who the hell goes out Downtown Orlando to one of the nicest and upscale bar/lounge wearing shorts. Get your act together and dress to impress. As a business we have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, deal with it. Another thing is Kush doesn’t sell any drug paraphanelya, it is a Hookah lounge that serves beer and wine. They advertise as being upscale and the best in Orlando and that it true, they are. If you want to smoke Hookah in shorts and flip flops then but one and smoke at home, otherwise follow the rules.

Kush is one of the best ultra lounges in Orlando. People from Ft Walton Beach need to learn what a dress code is before you go out in Orlando.

I absolutely loved this place. The decorations are modern and has the atmospheric feel of being in a club, yet everyone keeps to themselves. The music was fantastic and there were a lot of great mixes(electronic music was played). They had a decent selection of beer(lagers, ale, pale ales, sweet fruit flavored beer) though it had gone up in price, it was still good. The hookah flavors that were offered were very enticing, and delicious. I would most definitely recommend this hookah lounge. P. S. There is a dress code. Gentlemen; wear collared shirts, no sandals, and no shorts. Ladies; dress up a little but not too much(this means no sneakers, or flip flops), and jean shorts or shorts in general are a BIGNO.

Awesome… awesome, awesome. That’s pretty much all I need to write. It’s a difficult place to find, the entrance is inside of a convenience store. You walk up a creepy stairway and then BOOM, awesome hookah lounge. It’s all white sofas and hookahs with a projected screen, has a small VIP section with a pole, the hookahs are great quality(if not a little pricey, but you get what you pay for), and the service is better than most hookah lounges I’ve been to. Next time I’m in Orlando, I’m definitely going here again. There’s a cash-only cover charge for everyone, which I wasn’t too fond of since the hookah is pricey, but I would pay it again with no issue. Only premium sheesha is used, and ambiance is nice and relaxing, and it’s super sleek.

Kush is like a broken down roller coaster. It’s up and down and all around faster(or slower) than your head can keep track of. –1 for a $ 5 cover before seeing the place +1 for swanky door that requires a secret code +1 for a sexy white interior –10 for waiting 30 minutes and then leaving because of no service +8 for a great guy downstairs who quickly called the owner(?) manager to rectify the situation +5 for the smoothest tobacco south Virginia –6 for waiting 45 minutes for the check +2 for great MTV throwback music videos = 0 = A-OK

I love everything about Kush. First off, it’s at a great location. It’s downtown, above a smoke shop, and kind of hidden away. The environment is insanely sexy. White galore. White seats, white walls, white linens hanging from the ceiling. Did I mention it’s sexy? =) They have a ton of different flavors, really anything you can think up. Great drink selection as well. From beers and wines, to regular soda options. I will say though, as much as this place is «hidden,» it gets packed, quickly. Don’t let that steer you away — it really is a great hookah experience and the staff is really nice and attentive.

LOVE the idea of this place, and as soon as I read Mike and Susan’s reviews I knew I was going to check it out ASAP! It’s weird because I absolutely hate cigarettes and the idea of smoking, however, I absolutely dig hookah. I am partial to sitting outside while chillin with some hookah but I have to say, this place is straight chill! When I told my boy I wanted to check this place out he was a little skeptical that it existed, so was I actually ;o) So happy it exists. If you hit up Kathmandu, there is a sign outside letting you know Kush is inside. You just head in and tell them you are there for Kush. We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 10ish? You would think it wouldn’t be busy, boy was it! At first we were told we would have to wait for a phone call because the place was packed but I talked to the owner, Gary to tell him how excited I was to try this place out and he went up and found a spot for us since there were only 2 of us. It was bumpin’ up there for sure. It is a very small lounge that is just so flippin’ dope. If you have ever been to Pulse, this place reminds me of a mini white room. Everything was white from the floor to the ceiling to the furniture. The lights and art around the room were the pops of color which was a perfect addition. There are couches, small tables close to the ground and a tall table. I am a fan of the couches and the tall table… the smaller table hurts when you are a tall person =(haha. Katie is the shit! She was our server and it was like we were in her house and she was top hostess! So nice, chill and informative. I was inquiring about cider of course, which they did not have any, but she didn’t skip a beat and offered me a GREAT alternative: Lindemans, mmmmmmm!!! So good! We went with the grape hookah and it was perfect. They kept checking up on us too to make sure everything was cool. Even everyone else that was there just chillin’ were straight cool. I have to admit that if I had to wait for a call back to check this place out I would have given it 4 stars — because… when I want to chill… I want to chill! So HOPEFULLY it will stay a little under the radar so that when I want to go I will be able to ;o) I guess writing this review isn’t helping with keeping it on the DL huh? Oh well, it’s too dope not to share. If you are interested in checkin’ this place out and need a buddy, hit me up!
