Every time u order a triplets sandwich they say they don’t have or the mofongo don’t offer what u can’t make

Holy huge portion size! I usually eat from my lunch for 2 – 3 days. Food always seems fresh. Love the beef and also chicken.

Portion size is very generous here, and the value is good. A large serving of pork, rice with pigeon peas, and plantains is about $ 8.50. The service was quick and friendly the few times I’ve been. It’s the third restaurant I can remember in that location, so it will be interesting to see if they will last. When I go, I’m usually the only gringo in the joint! :)

Maybe it’s because I came in late on a weekday, but the food here wasn’t quite on par with their main location. The rice was dry and the beef was lacking its usual flavor. I probably won’t be back to this specific location, but instead visit their main shop.

OVERRATED this place is overrated! Despite the fact that the food didn’t taste fresh, the pork tasted super soggy and undercooked and the skin was impossible to consume, and a little overpriced for Florida restaurants… wouldn’t have minded the high prices if the food was half decent. but no… theres definitely better in Orlando and this isn’t one of them…

This place is great. They serve Latin cafeteria style. You can see all the foods displayed and you pick out what you would like. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. The portions are very generous. You have to try the pork, it is awesome. They also have many other items to choose from. You can dine in or take the food to go, which is how I usually do it.

Well, thank goodness they have arrived to our side of town. I have always enjoyed their other site as well. The variety of rice options is great; I love the black beans and rice. I enjoy the pork, although a bit salty at times, it is juicy, moist and delicious. I have also had the beef in red sauce which is so tender and flavorful. The sweet plantains are my favorite and are a real treat. For the price, u can’t beat this place. Truly authentic

Went to this place cause our maintenance supervisor was nice enough to treat me to lunch but then again I used to be maintenance so he likes me more than the girls that don’t know what maintenance is about lol, but for someone that came from NYC to Orlando still learning where to go and spots to hit up. This place is new and it was awesome, I felt like I was back in NYC with the environment the Spanish music in the background and the food wow was really, really great was very surprised. I had the white rice and beans with chicken stew and the guy hooked me up some pernil and skin which I was shocked how good the pernil was my goodness. The only thing I can say I wasn’t to happy about was how hot the place was inside they have a small AC system but all in all this is a place I’ll definitely will be going back too very soon !

I stopped by to check out this new location for Lechonera Latina. It used to be the old Tasty Thai location. First thing I noticed was the cafeteria style food service line. You select your type of rice, they have four different ones to choose from. Then you select your meat. Latin style meat is the best. Pork, beef even goat meat is available. Then select your side. As you can see by the photo I posted, it is a massive sized portion. Believe me your money is on your plate.
The reason for only four stars. I found this place very noisy. Tile floor, smooth walls, no coverings on tables, stainless steel serving line. I saw no type of surface that would even absorb some noise. This place is so noisy that I had difficulty hearing the lady making my plate, I even speak both English and Spanish.
My recommendation here is, be prepared to eat some big portions of Latin food, really good Latin food and hear the conversations taking place on the other side of the room.
