I went here with one of my daughters for lunch and we both enjoyed our selves. We were there on a weekday around 1:00. The parking lot looked full when we arrived but we were seated in a nice clean booth as soon as we arrived. We were greeted by a waitress that you could hear coming a mile away since she was wearing too many jingle bells. It drove me crazy! I understand enjoying the holiday season but I also enjoy a quiet lunch in a sit down restaurant. She was very nice and polite. She bought us our drinks right away. Ice tea with lime for me and sprite for her. We didn’t wait longer for her to return with nice not bread with butter. We ordered our meals and an appetizers of white cheddar with bacon dip. Sirloin steak for my daughter and a bacon cheddar burger for me. The appetizer came and It was beyond yummy and it came with hot pita squares. Our waitress was quick on the refills. Our food came out and was great. My daughters steak was just perfect. My burger was exactly how I wanted it. Cooked to a perfect medium rare, bacon to cheese ratio was good. The restrooms needed to be restocked and cleaned. Other than that and the bell issues, it was worth the trip. We will be back for sure when she visits again. Hopefully the bells will be gone.

Dusty place slow to give a table for two. Host was nice and the server but the place where we was sit around the lamp table is dusty the wine bottles are super dust all six of them and the rack. Only two stars!

This location has really gone downhill. The restaurant has a smell to it I can only describe as a dirty dish rag. Changes in the menu are not good. Gone are the flavorful under 500 calories (this is a Darden thing not specific to this location alone). Prices have gone up while quality has gone down. Bathrooms are unclean. Now the food. Wife and I each ordered steak. Mine medium and hers med well. Both came out very well done. Bake potato was under cooked. Server did her job and to the manager’s credit he did comp our meal as there were other minor issues encountered not detailed here. What’s sad is that this was a favorite casual restaurant for us. I just can’t see us coming back again.

After having some good steak yesterday, I wanted more. This place is located about 3 min drive away from my house, so I thought I’ll try it. I was out with my wife and her brother and decided to go there. The food was alright, not as good as yesterdays. Service was good. I’ll go back and see if next visit is better.

I really want to like this location but, the service has down hill over the past year that I cannot go to this restaurant anymore. We even tried again recently and it was an utter disaster. My credit card was even used to pay for another table’s bill. Poor service, and the lately the food has not been cooked properly. Also, they have had problems with their A/​C in the middle of this wonderfully hot summer.

I love the filet with sweet potato. had to return the stuffed mushrooms because they were cold… like just out of the fridge. otherwise everything went smoothly and, the steaks were cooked perfectly.

My son and I have eaten here many times. Stopped in last night and when seated by the hostess we smelled something very sour. It was like the bus person used dirty water to clean the table or booth. The server was great and moved us right away. Everything else as usual was great.

This LH is close to where I live and has pretty good service. The food here is standardized with the other LHs much like other Darden restaurants. The new summer menu is pretty good. I recommend trying the fried green tomatoes!

I ordered through my phone online, which was very simple and very convenient. I made a to go order, and picked the time I would be able to pick it up. I ordered the NY strip with steak sauce, medium well. Bad mistake. It was very hard to cut and hard to chew. The flavoring was there though. Well seasoned. I also got to choose 1 side. I ordered their mac n cheese, which was okay. There plating was less than appealing. There was a layer of gratin and there were pieces of bacon mixed in. It was very cheesy. It also came with a salad. For $ 24, I was less than impressed. I ate here once a few years ago, and it was delicious which is why i wanted to eat here again. For the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it. But I will be eating here again, just ordering something different.

Do yourself a favor (if you desire Longhorn) travel the extra few minutes to the airport location.
This location on OBT is always DIRTY. The entrance way floor is always filthy and the glass doors are beyond jammed up with finger and handprints. The staff SCREAMS «yes you ARE on OBT!»
I am in between this location and the airport location so I have visited EACH ONE at least 6x times and the airport location makes you feel like you’re in a different universe.
Yesterday I went to the OBT location-​service was ok. We had a decent, clean looking waitress but when a couple was seated next to us in the next booth I heard the waiter complain to the host OUT LOUD about giving him another table. So if I heard it, then the patrons did as well. Rude.
My steak and my husbands chicken were both overcooked even though I ordered medium rare. Super dry. And the blue cheese crust was a sprinkle of parmesan.
The asparagus appetizer was saturated in grease and inedible.
I always order the same thing so when I go to the Longhorn near the Orlando airport the difference is HUGE. The quality of food and staff is MUCH better and the restaurant is much nicer.
This is the last time I will go to the Longhorn on OBT.

Second time here, have tried Sweet Chili Calamari to start. Over fried with too sweet Chili sauce. However, home made bread was always great .Our server is excellent and extra star for him. Will come back and tried something different.

The experience here was very disappointing. The service was very slow despite not being very busy. The staff was not very friendly and the food was average at best. We waited almost 10 minutes after being seated just to be acknowledged.
We ordered a seasonal salad that was served without some of the advertised ingredients and when we mentioned it we were told that they didn’t have — and were not ordering more — of the ingredients because it was a seasonal item that would be taken off the menu shortly.
I would not likely come back to this restaurant location when I am in the Orlando area again.

If this is one of your dinner options, just say NO!!!
We ended up here because we had a gift card, it was a Saturday and we were told the wait was about 20 minutes. It didn’t seem that busy but after about 20 minutes we were seated and walked past at least 3 empty tables on route!
The girl that sat us asked us what we ‘wanted’ to drink before the menus even hit the table.
A few minutes later our lousy server came over. She seemed stoned to be honest and seemed to have little to no interest in customer service… or anything else for that matter.
We ordered Texas fried Onions to start. A few minutes later the server came by and told us they were ‘working’, I guess that meant cooking. A few minutes after that she came back to say they were actually out of the Texas onions but they did offer to buy our replacement appy for us (I almost gave reason a second star for free food).
We ordered hot wings extra crispy. The came and were soggy and greasy and tasted more Asian seasoned than hot.
After the wings I used the wet napkin to wipe the table and when the server came by she said to me, ‘Why’s the table wet, did you spill your beer?‘
UH, WHAT? I said uh, no I wiped the table but thanks for thinking I spilled my beer. She was a horrible waitress, no doubt about that.
I ordered the Parmesan crusted chickens it’s a baked potato. Let me say they is NO parmesan crust on this! It’s is a chicken breast smothered in a thick, salty Alfredo type sauce. The potato was so dry inside even with butter and sour cream I had to order extra of both so She brought the smallest amount I have ever seen… less than a teaspoon of each in the same small dish. Maybe it was coming off her check?
The side of asparagus was completely inedible, It was almost mush and tasted disgusting!
Hubby had ‘stuffed’ Ribeye. He said it was cooked well and tasted pretty good but it was NOT stuffed, the cheese and bacon were just layed on top and he had the same baked potato problems!
Beer was cold… one good point-​one star.

Service was great even though the waitress got the order wrong, but it was corrected right away. Food was good but they overlooked the sweet potato fries. Overall not a bad experience.

Avoid at all costs. We came in on a Saturday at 4:00 pm. The restaurant was nearly empty. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The only reason we stayed is because we had gift cards so we are eating for free. Management and service were awful.

Not a fan, these poor employees are getting their but kicked. Not sure whether I should feel sorry for them or if I should be upset due to the lack of service. I’m a person who likes to get dessert but it seemed that they were in such a hurry to get me out of here. Instead of asking «how was your meal»? or «would you like some dessert»? My waitress says to me, «I’ll get your check «and «would you like a box»? REALLY!!!

Have been here twice recently. The food quality was better than I expected and the service was excellent. Steaks were served exactly as ordered and drink glasses were kept full. Steaks did not get served until after we had a chance to finish our salads. Will definitely be back.

Always the service at this restaurant is very good, I always ask sirlion well done and this time I got unfortunately medium rare, this time I did’t enjoy that steak, but that’s happen, ofcourse this does not prevent me back. the admsthpere of Loghorn is always relaxing and elegant.

I was surprised. The food quality was very good. We had steaks, apps and everything was well above expectations from this type of restaurant.
Our server was new and rushed the food. i.e. We had just started apps. When she brought the salad. She didn’t pour our wine after she opened it. Needs more training. But she was very friendly, courteous and a great personality.
If I lived in FL I would make this one of my regular places.
I think this place is better than Outback Steakhouse and is the same type of restaurant

Haven’t had time to check in — but just to give an update — last weekend we decided to give Longhorn another chance — and standards seem to be back up. Our steaks and pork chops were delicious again. and our favorite waitress (Tina) was there — and everyone was keeping her hopping!!!
glad to see the standards are back up — need a good steak place in the area …
