Magical Midway

Tons of great rides. I’d recommend getting an all day wristband, it’s affordable and the kids stay entertained all day. I would not bring children under five here, there are only a few rides for them. The slingshot looks very intimidating but a smooth ride overall.

Go elsewhere! A large majority of the games are out of order. I saw at least 10 staff members there, none of which are working. You have to wait to be acknowledged between there personal conversations and they act as if you are being rude for needing assistance. While they are just «hanging out» the entire place is filthy!!! Trash, have eaten food from the night before, at least a dozen half empty plastic cup on various machines, and a total lack of overall cleanliness!!! Overpriced, lazy/​rude staff, and gross. The only thing they will try to talk to you about is going on the slingshot and they will try to push hard! This overpriced attraction MUST be commissioned based.

Mainly came for the go karts, they were okay. Some where pretty old and slow, and the exhaust smelled terrible from some of them. Three tracks, one small two large ones. Inside the arcade wasn’t much. Mostly shooting, racing and luck games. Some of them don’t even work. Two billiards table, one in need of serious reupholstering. No chalk for the sticks. Probably wouldn’t come again, but you want some okay go karts for $ 25 for 3 hours it’s alright.

I went to Magical Midway for the first time last week. I had so much fun. We paid $ 7 per person to ride. Children must be 12 yrs old to ride alone. The tracks are wooden track, but believe me you will enjoy. I will definitely go again.

I would have been mad if I had to pay full price for an all-​day wristband to this establishment. I bought a groupon deal at 50% off and still feeling like I got ripped off. They have 3 go-​cart tracks, bumper car, a swing ride, an air blaster ride, a trampoline jump for kids under 120 lbs and a sling shot which is not included in the all-​day wristband. The sling shot I believe is $ 25/​shot and it literally ends in about 20 seconds. It is tiny & run down for the prices they’re charging. However, kuddos to the staff as all of them were really friendly & helpful while we were there.

We came here after playing mini golf only because it was opened late. Not our first choice. It is a mini amusement park with few rides. Each ride has to be paid individually. The rides and décor are dingy and overpriced.
Wouldn’t recommend. There are better places in international dr.

Don’t let me 2 stars fool you. I mean Magical Midway is fun. It is a couple hours of fun, and when the rest of Orlando’s crazy Tourism kingdom has gotten too much for you, it is nice to find a no wait, simple fun place to go that is crazy in itself, but is just the ticket for a lazy afternoon where the draw of old Florida road side diversions are perfect with friends, family, or kids… just to laugh and have some ice cream in the Orlando sun.
International Drive can be a media overload of tourist traps, but it has its charm and easy fun. Enjoy walking along the busy boulevard and see how the other half live.

Fun place to spend a few hours at. Some crazy rides here for the dare devils. They have the tallest sling shot in the world which I was terrified to try but once my brother talked me into going on it once I was addicted lol.

We are local and have passes to the big parks. We frequently drive by this place and was attracted to the multi level go karts. We decided to finally drop in only to be majorly disappointed. We had armbands which get you on «all the rides.» None of which were open and the sling shot you had to pay another $ 20+. The ones that were open were for kids only. Wish they would’ve specified «all» rides when we were paying $ 25 for a wristband. It was completely trashy and a big rip off! The staff was rude and arrogant and didn’t even appear to be working… Save your money!

Loved playing in this arcade. I didn’t do any of the outdoor activities but, the did offer go karts and other outdoor activities. I couldn’t stay out of the arcade. This was my second time coming to this place. It’s always clean which means much to me.

This run down place IS worth checking out, but just note this:
1. Even though it’s an awesome 3stories high go kart track, the ride is a bit slow and incredibly bumpy. I wanted to stop half way.
2. The highest/​biggest slingshot ride (I didn’t go on) is very expensive. You can’t get any deals for this.
3. Bumper carts, I’m just shaking my head thinking about it.
4. Bumper boats. I didn’t go on this but the sales girl said it was a slow ride and not as fun as the bumper carts.

For $ 25 you can get a wristband for 3 hours and ride all the rides as many times as you’d like… except for the slingshot. I had a blast when I recently went. They have bumper cars, bumper boats, a few go-​kart tracks, trampoline jump, and the swings that go way up into the air (not for the people with fear of heights!)
The bumper cars were a lot more fun than I expected, although I’m a big kid so I’m easily entertained. The go-​karts were great! I went as a kid and was always terrified of the large hill at the end of the track and figured it wouldn’t be as scary now that I’m older… but I was wrong… the first couple of times freaked me out a bit and then I got over it.
The tracks are wooded so it’s pretty bumpy, and the go-​karts go fairly fast… although if you’re lucky like I was, you’ll get the kart that’s freakishly fast. Probably the fastest one I have ever been on. Barely gripped the corners and definitely got some air time on some of the hills. That thing was crazy and passed everyone on the track.
I’d go back for another random outing.

This is the best run down carnival I ever been to. $ 7 to do go karts on their beat up race track was awesome. I believe it was $ 25 for unlimited go kart rides for 3 hours. I wished the go-​karts actually go faster. It has bumper boats, an arcade, swings go very high into the air and a sling shot. Just like a carnival, free to get into.
Magical midway seems like a place that someone can film a scary movie from the way it looks cheesy and beat up from the outside. Shoot, they probably already have done it. Had fun there, recommend doing it just to do it.

I would never go back. None of the staff i meet was happy. The staff are nasty and ready to snap at people. I seen them marking people on the go-​carts and kicking them off for bumping and they never bumped anyone. The pople bumping just got warnings. I said something in there defense and suprisingly I suddenly got marked for bumping and never bumped or got bumped by anyone. people walk around the place like they are ready for a fight that includes the staff. They don’t appear to be happy to be there not to mention having a job.

All the trashy carnival fun you can imagine, with two unusual, high-​flying rides? Hell yeah! This place has it all: skee-​ball, whack-​a-​mole, car racing games! Plus, it comes with your usual assortment of surly, tattooed carny folk — yes! Honestly, if you want a divey carnival go-​to, this is the arcade for you.
Most importantly, you could pass an hour just watching the «Slingshot» riders line up and scream. It’s pretty entertaining. Don’t miss the «swing on steroids». It’s a beautiful view.

Groupon Scam — purchased tickets from groupon. This particular merchant is a scam. They are shady here. Avoid at all cost. Don’t put your children in jeopardy. Go to Fun Spot instead!!!

We went here to ride the go carts. The go carts are great. however the staff is a little shady about taking coupons. The coupon we gave was for 5 $ off per transaction. When we got there they started adding all these rules to the coupon. It was only good on the wristband… even though it did not say that. Would go back again for the go carts but hate to give this place money.

At first glance, the Magical Midway looks like an entertainment venue you would see in any mid sized city. Go-​Karts, carnival rides, a giant sling shot, arcade games, loud music, and teenagers everywhere. It’s free to park, and free to enter, altogether a pretty hassle free experience.
Taking a second look, I noticed that their swing ride is on steroids! It lifts you up to 180 feet while swinging you around at 50mph, offering a panoramic view of Orlando. I typically have faith in carnival rides, figuring that if the ride was unsafe, they would shut it down. However, this was literally one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. The swings were harnessed with the thinnest metal chains possible. Does not look or feel safe at all, which contributed to my fear. This ride has been featured on the Travel Channel for its unique twist.
The sling shot ride looks like such a thrill, but it only lasts about 1 minute, and for $ 25 a piece, we were not willing to shell out $ 50 for the experience on this trip. I’ll come back to this one day.
Go-​Kart tracks are unique, with several tiers of roadways. The arcade is not state-​of-​the-​art, but it will do the trick. The main appeal here is thrill ride experiences without the all day theme park crap.

Gahhh ok this review is based only on the arcade since I spend my whole time there alot…
The arcade at magical midway is like Chucky cheese minus all the colorful ball cages, slides, mouse, and cheese pizza!
Super plus signs go to the variety photobooth, resident evil shooting game, daytona 500 racing games, and street fighter.
Minus signs go to the air hockey it’s kinda slippery and the puck goes crazy flying around everywhere. Also the evil big buck game (deer shooting game) always takes away your tokens.

i dont really like amusement parks … well, thing is, i dont really like people in general but if i have to narrow it down, i especially dislike tourists.
$ 7 got me about 10 mins of fun go cart action. its fun to race your friends especially when they suck at driving. i dont drive that often but when i do, i drive go carts. stay thirsty my friends.
