Max Muscle Orlando

See Chris at this location. He knows his stuff and is very friendly. There’s a big variety of different products here, you’ll definitely find what you’re looking for and more. I’ll be back soon to re up my supps!

If I would have rated this store after my first visit it would have been five star. However, I have since been back a few times and have not received the same wow factor from the first visit. On my first visit the employee was knowledgeable, helpful and successfully tried to sell me on more products. Subsequent times the employees were talking to friends that were hanging out in the store. Overall it is a bargain compared to GNC. I just wish the service was more consistent.

HORRIBLE soley because they are way overpriced for their own brand of protein and supplements. Why would I spend way more on these products that I have never heard of over the popular ones I love to use and can get for much cheaper… it was very strange to me.

This Max Muscle store is the best sports nutrition store I’ve been to in Orlando. I like their products and service better than rival places like GNC. It is located in the plaza in front of the Milenia mall.
The guys in the store are extremely knowledgeable and most are sports nutritionists and/​or trainers themselves. You can tell. Ram and Chris are the two guys I have talked to the most while in there. What’s really great is that they treat you like a person, not a sale. They will take the time to explain to you WHY a product is good for you and what it does. They won’t just recommend the most expensive products to you, they will listen to what your goals and situation are, and then will recommend something based on you specifically. And you can get as much or as little information as you want. They actually use the products themselves too so they can tell you first-​hand experience how the product is going to affect you.
There have been times where I’ve talked to Chris and he has helped me redo my entire weight-​lifting schedule and program. He even gave me advice based on which gym I go to (what equipment to use, etc). Chris has really gone above and beyond to help me out on numerous occasions.
My wife and I both go here regularly and we really feel like we are friends with the guys here because they remember us, and ask how progress is going, and try to help us out as much as possible. I could go on and on, this store is great…

Good stuff

This is what I like to experience when I walk into a store! I was greeted by both associates and was educated on different products. I wanted a vitamin that is in capsule form which is easier to absorb than a tablet. They had exactly what I was looking for.
I was also given a sample of protein shake in a Max Muscle cup that I was allowed to take with me. The associate told me about a new zumba studio in the area and had a lot of great information.
I’m definitely planning on coming here again, and I suggest if you’re into sports, to RUN not walk to Max Muscle!

I should have turned around and walked out when I entered the store and said hello to the clerk and he didn’t reply. I was new to town and really need protein shake mix so I went in to check out the selection.
It was a Saturday afternoon and the store was empty. Very quiet, clean & orderly but empty.
The clerk ignored me as I walked past the counter to the shelves to look for my favorite brand. I couldn’t find what I was looking for and reluctantly asked the clerk if they carried the brand. He said yes. I asked if I could buy a case. He said that I could but couldn’t mix the flavors. I asked what were the best selling shakes and if what feedback had he heard comments about various brands. He said he hadn’t heard anything, didn’t know anything and could recommend anything. At this point I felt really uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store.
He then went to the counter and dialed a phone number and ignored me while I shopped and while I checked out.
I bought my usual powder and left the store. I will never return again.
