My first year was mediocre. They take forever to fix things that are broken and they over charge you for everything when you move out. I bought new light bulbs and replaced them all in my room before I left and somehow I got charged for light bulbs in the bathroom? The only thing that was actually broken was the flimsy blinds. Stuff that was messed up before you got there, will be charged for you even if you mark it all down. Also, they take electricity overages and divide them between you and your room mates. Even if you are never home and never use any of the crap you still have to pay. You pay more money here than you would renting a house. The raccoons my attack you, too. But I loved my neighbors and we all agreed alafaya club pretty much sucks. I only renewed for a 6month lease because my new place wasn’t ready yet.

I love the neighborhood but some things need improvements. The trash needs to be picked up more often and maintenance should come within 48 hours of putting in a new work order. Also, the electric bill is outrageous sometimes.

Do not live here unless you enjoy management not fixing things like broken toilets when every resident has personal bathrooms, and you really enjoy having to use the bathroom at work and school. Also if you like getting over charged for what others damaged and management ignoring the fact that you get physically attacked by your randomly assigned roommates AFTER you had already gone to them and requested they remove said roommate. Management is basically kids running the office while the real employees will not speak with you. Just over pay to live somewhere nicer, this place is old and falling apart. Moved in the first day and the carpet was crispy and everything was poorly spray painted white — nasty. Thanks for a terrible year.
