Lacks customer service

Okay so I go into this store to purchase a 4 drawer filing cabinet. I saw at least 4 people up front and no one on the floor so when I found the one I wanted I went back up front to ask for help and that is when the manager told the computer guy to help me. The computer guy went to the back with me and I showed him the one I wanted and then went into storage area and I waited for 20 minutes for him. When the computer guy did not return I went back up front and as I passed the computers there stood the computer guy helping someone else and when my wife went to ask him he said he forgot WOW. I spoke to the manager again and he asked another guy to help me and that guy told the manager he had someone on hold for him. I could not believe the answers I was receiving from this place and I will not shop here again nor will I recommend it.

This remains a TERRIBLE place to shop. I come ONLY because it is conveniently located. I went in for toner and remembered that I need a new desk lamp. The demonstration floor lamps would not turn on, so I asked one of the thee employees in the entire store for assistance. She called another gentleman who was the only one out on the floor. After a while she pointed him out and suggested I go speak to him myself. He told me if the lamps weren’t turning on it was probably because the bulbs were burned out or they weren’t plugged in. Of course I let him know that was why I required his assistance. Eventually he did flip the magic switch and I purchased the lamp.
If you have ANY OTHER OPTIONS, go to any other office supply store.

This Office Depot has gone down hill.
The service has gone from bad to worse in the past year.
I have stopped shopping at this location.
If you are in great need and have lots of time to wait in long lines, than I guess this is your store. If you can get what you need at a different store, I would do that.
