Optimal Massage

Finding a place to get a good massage has been tough. Most places are trying to sell some spa-​day package for couples. Others want to do nails. Some are super-​specialized to one body part. I was just looking to relieve tight muscles from daily workouts.
Of all the massage places I’ve tried in my area, I’m glad to say I finally found a place where I’m looking forward to my next appointment! My first impression, like many other reviewers, was one of surprise. The «office» is inside a house. They have cats roaming the grounds, so drive slowly! Inside, the waiting room is a living room with very comfortable sofas and chairs. The location was great, as I couldn’t hear anything from the outside world (such as automobile traffic, or loud music from another business that shares the same space). The room was a perfect temperature, the lighting and the relaxing music helped to create a very peaceful atmosphere.
Heather was very welcoming and took the time to consider my trouble spots and activities I could do to help at home. As requested, her massage was deep and worked very well for me. My range of motion definitely improved after just 1 hour. Massage, like exercise, diet and stretching, really doesn’t instantly cure all ailments, so I couldn’t expect to walk on water after just 1 session. But I’m one step closer, right?

Heather was awesome! She was recommended to me by a friend and I’m really glad I went. The atmosphere was perfect and she was open and attentive to my needs, even talking to me about common runners injuries. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been going to Heather for 20 years. I came to her with a pulled neck which was troubling me sine I was 16. She was able to work on it with deep therapy massage. It ultimately cured the problem. I still do the door stretches she’d recommended and I exercise, and I’ve never missed work again for it. Heather has started a few new massages which I also like. They are different and I alternate with the deep therapy. She’s extremely dedicated to her profession. She continues to take classes even after she completed her massage classes. She’s always looking to understand the body more and enjoys feedback. She strives to improve my experience. I really owe a lot of my health and well being to her.

I have chronic ongoing neck pain and absolutely appreciate Heather’s customized approach. I have been a regular customer for, wow, almost 9 years. Heather is the person that you should go to for your massage needs — you won’t be disappointed. She gives the best deep tissue massage that I’ve ever had the experience to enjoy. And if you have headaches, she has a great ice mask that eases those too! Great massage therapist … and give her barefoot massage a try too!

Amazing! I hardly saw that about anything. I decided to schedule another massage 5 minutes into my first massage. It was that amazing. I have a pinched nerve has caused pain to radiate down my arm. Though I still have some pain, Heather ’ s massage helped a great deal. I know if I continue to go I will be back to playing sports in no time. If you’ve never been, BOOK IT NOW! I definitely just had the best massage here at Optimal Massage. Heather (owner) did a great job massaging me. She asked me which areas I wanted her to focus on, which she did a thorough job in the hour session. There were even areas that she focused on which I didn’t know had some existing issues. Her massaging pressure was firm yet gentle, I personally like a lot of pressure with my massages, which she did. She made sure, however, that I am comfortable. The ambiance of the room was very therapeutic and conducive to my relaxation. After my session with her, she discussed different ways for me to stretch and care for my body. Overall, she is very professional and great with what she do and I will definitely be coming back.

Heather was very good about establishing needs and understanding any chronic issues I was having. She took time to explain her approach and exhibited a great deal of knowledge which made me feel very good even before we got started. The massage was perfectly suited to my needs and Heather was very good about dialing in the perfect amount of pressure and focus on specific areas. The environment is relaxing and comfortable. Heather is very professional and it’s obvious she cares a great deal about her practice. I have already set up three more appointments and will be going here regularly. I’m so happy to have found a new therapist!

Great place to get a massage! I have been going to Heather for 7 years now. The location is convenient and tranquil– it doesn’t have that «clinical office» feel. She always asks what areas I need worked on and adjusts the pressure to how much I need that day. She is friendly and professional. One of the best aspects is that you get the full amount of time you pay for in your massage. Other places start the clock when you get there even if you are still filling out paperwork. At Optimal Massage the clock only starts when she begins working on you. I refer her to anyone who tells me they need a good masseuse.

I had an excellent massage by Heather. She was very good at listening to my needs and adjusting accordingly. Her practice was very relaxing and I was impressed by her knowledge base. Definitely looking forward to going back.

Her evaluative and therapeutic skills have become an integral part of my training plan and I’ve grown to implicitly trust her professional treatments to keep me performing at a top level.

If you are in Orlando, this is a great place to go for a massage. I am completely blanking out on the name of the girl that massaged me, but she was terrific. She took the time to listen to me, and was very attentive to the reason for my visit (pulled a muscle in my upper back).
The price was reasonable and it was truly a ‘tranquil oasis’.

Boy were we glad we came! The prices are very reasonable and you feel like you are getting a full body healing experience rather than someone who is just rubbing our your sore muscles.
We were there in May of 2007 and our therapist was Devin. He had an amazing intuition on where the body needed to be healed. It was a little weird having him pulling on my legs and massaging my hips at first, but it certainly did relieve the tension in my neck and shoulders!
Although I have only been here once, I have only heard good things about this place from friends who have been!
