P is for Pie Bake Shop

This is a terrific place! Since we were in Orlando today, we stopped by and tried their cherry pie and brought a few mini pies home including tiramisu and key lime and everything was delicious. The cherry filling wasn’t overly sweet and the pie is baked on a sheet pan from which they were serving square slices — choose an end cut or middle.
The coffee (Stumptown) was a good compliment to the pie too.
They also have savory pies so this shop isn’t just for dessert.

Do yourself a huge favorite and try all of the mason jar cream pies, they’re absolutely delicious! I love the fact you get to keep the jars and take them home, I’m a huge sucker for that. Also, I know many people have mentioned this already, but it’s definitely better the earlier you go. I’ve been disappointed a couple times when I arrive in the early evenings because they run out of a lot of the things I typically order. I do absolutely love the fact that they carry Stumptown Cold Brew though, that stuff is gooooooood.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions! The staff has always been really sweet whenever I’ve been there :)

I stopped by here today to pick up some goodies for a holiday party. They sell mini pies, cake pops, whoopie pies, Christmas crack and more, with a wide variety of flavors.
WARNING: Christmas crack? Yeah, it’s as addictive as it sounds.
The last time I was here, I was with a large group of friends and we tried several different things. There were no complaints… and the mini pies were a particular hit.
Anyway, the young gentleman at the counter today was very helpful in describing the different types of pastries offered. I tend to be extremely indecisive, but he was very patient. After I made my selections, he surprised me by putting the pastries in the most adorable holiday box with a bow. A perfect touch for the holiday party.
TIP: Stop by earlier in the day, before they run out of some flavors /​options.

its nestled away in a cool strip mall so easy to miss. if you see the sushi place with the white signage, you’ve gone too far
i may have just missed it but i saw pies of all shapes/​sizes but the typical sliced triangle.
i got an apple pie that they bake on a square sheet of pan and cut it up.
the crust was fantastic and buttery.
the filling was fantastic and definitely had apple juice and/​or apple sauce.
they had lots of variety and options but better signage wouldve helped. my biggest pet peeve with this place. i would’ve spent stupid amounts of money if they did as i’m a slut for carbs/​sugar/​butter

Omg sooooo good! It’s not over powering sweet but it’s enough to enjoy the deliciousness!!! The branding is gorgeous! I love it so much!!! They put a lot of attention to detail!

Friendly, quick, and absolutely delicious. Huge thanks to them for making a pie with less than 48 hours notice… that wasn’t even on the menu! Best cherry pie I’ve ever had, definitely was a hit.
This was my first experience and I’ll definitely be back. The interior is a beautiful spot for a cup of Stumptown just because.

P is for Perfection! For Thanksgiving, I ordered a Chocolate Pecan Pie and it was definitely a crowd pleaser at my Thanksgiving family feast. The pie which has a creamy toffee like chocolate filling and caramelized pecans on top delivers a slice of heaven. If you’re going to order pies for a special occasion, make sure to place the order ahead of time. For holidays, they do have a cut off date for placing orders and the list of pie’s is extensive and impressive!
I’ve been to this small but comfortable shop twice and both times I’ve received delicious mini pie’s, friendly and inviting customer service and most importantly a sugar rush! The cutie pie’s which are bite size and highly addictive due to their crumble crust and rich flavors will cost you $ 7.00 for 4. They offer different flavors like Triple Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Smores, Pumpkin and other seasonal flavors. They also offer turnovers, mason jar pies which I’m anxious to try, cookies and coffee. This pie shop is located in the Audubon Park Garden District on Corrine Drive in between Leu Gardens and Baldwin Park.

In the case of P is for Pie the P could also stand for positively yummy! The caramel pecan hand pie is my absolute favorite. It’s so flaky and buttery. My husband loves the chocolate silk pie. The oatmeal pies are really yummy too! You can tell everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. I would recommend coming early, the varieties tend to wax and wan throughout the day.
They also serve Stumptown roasters coffee! Love their cold brew! The have both the black and the white varieties now.
I love the environment, it has cute industrial feel, seating is limited if you are looking to bring a big crew. They are also closed Sunday’s and Monday’s… I found out the hard way. I nearly died…
The only reason I did not give a five is that I would love to see savory pies on the menu more often. Especially veggie ones.

Great place! Got a slice of apple slab pie and a coconut cream jar pie. Both were delicious! The only reason it’s a ⁴⁄₅ is because price was kind of up there for pie. The apple was $ 5 and the coconut was $ 6 plus tax and tip… We walked out paying about $ 14 for two slices. However we did get one free coffee with our Unilocal app for checking in! Overall cute place, especially to take someone some place if they’re visiting from out of town. But I might prefer a simple basic piece of pie from a little Coffee shop more. But super cute!

My two favorite things include sweet treats and coffee, and this place has got the complete package! The environment is as cozy and inviting as all those tasty desserts just looking back at you.
Walking in I was immediately greeted and asked about how my day was which launched in to a conversation about all the offerings available. The best part about P is for Pie is that all the pies are bite size which allows the opportunity to try multiple things. I am a sucker for Key Lime pie and any sort of cobblers, and this place delivers! The chocolate chip whoopee pie also offers a nice variety to the pie assortments. And to top it off you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee to make the adventure complete.
If you’re in the Audubon Park area this place is a must!

I have a serious sweet tooth, and there isn’t much in this world that makes me happier than a bakery. My bestie recommended I try this place after we had lunch at East End. It was the perfect spot to visit for a sweet bite.
I try and have key lime pie every time I visit Florida, and this place makes an awesome key lime pie. The key lime pie is tangy, tart, it had an awesome crispy crust, and is topped off with really great whipped cream.
So I actually walked in here expecting whole pies and slices of pie, but they actually make these adorable little pies that you can actually finish in about two-​three bites. They also have pies in cute mason jars… perfect for a gift!
They also make a mean chocolate chip cookie whoopie pie. I got one of those to eat in the car. It was yummy! Anyway, if you want a little pie to snack on, come here.

My willpower finally caved on me and I stopped in for dessert. I was trying to be good but sweets are my downfall. At least if I’m going to cheat, I’m going to do it on some delicious treats!
I got there about 45 minutes before closing, so there weren’t all the normal options, but there were still several great choices. I got almost one of everything (if I’m going to be bad, I might as well really be bad, right!?).
The mini Apple pie with crumple topping was really good! The oatmeal cream pie sandwich was good but the fillings was just a little too salty for me, and the cookie fell apart as I was eating it. I haven’t tried the s’mores pie, chocolate chip cookie sandwich or peanut butter chocolate pie yet but will update as I do!
Also, hooray for free coffee with $ 5 purchase when checking-​in on Unilocal!

When in Florida, isn’t the best pie to try Key Lime? My family drove a tad out of our way to this pie place since driving to Key West was out of the question. Our huge road trip van pulled up to the lot and my dad proudly walked up to the counter (yes he had put some effort into finding this shop). «I want some key lime pie!», my dad announced with much confidence, to which the worker replied, «…and we don’t have any».
You can imagine the roars of laughter that followed since we had no idea this shop ONLY uses fruits that are in season. That’s a perfectly good rule to live by when it comes to pies, but unfortunately for us, key limes are in season during the spring time. We instead bought a dozen mini lemon cream pies topped with blackberries and a full blueberry pie.
While they were not what we were looking for, the pies still satisfied our sweet tooth. Both had crumbles on them that were soft and did exactly as they are named. The mini pies had to be eaten in one bite because of how delicate they were, but the flavor had the right amount of sweetness to cover the tartness of the blackberries while not pumping your body with straight sugar. I had the blueberry pie at room temperature, but I knew if it were warmed up, I would have eaten the whole pie with my bare hands. It was like a round cobbler, soft with chunks of crumble just waiting to be topped with ice cream.
We didn’t get what we wanted, but we at least discovered a wonderful pie place in the middle of Orlando. Now, if we can only remember to come back during spring time…

I’ve been here several times now and I’m starting to learn that there are certain things you must take into account before visiting. First of all, get there early! They run out of items quickly. The closer to the end of the day, the more likely they will be out of items since they bake fresh for the day’s business.
P is for Pie doesnt’t have signage for a lot of the items in the case so you will have to ask the person behind the counter for those details. On my most recent visit, I decided on a caramel pecan handpie (snagged the last one) and an oatmeal cream pie to go. I wanted an iced coffee to go with. They sell Stumptown cold brew in the bottles so I opted for that. If you want to enjoy there, they will have to pop the cap off for you. Unlike most places I have been to, they don’t have any creamer or half and half out and available for you to use. Just packets of sugar. When I asked about, the girl working brought me a carton from the back to pour from. A little awkward but it worked!
We decided to sit and enjoy our snacks inside. They have several metal tables and chairs — very trendy décor but just not the most comfortable. Aside from these little observations, this is an adorable little bake shop. I don’t think you could really go wrong with whatever sweets you pick up here. And if you’re watching your sweets intake, I do love the mini desserts pies they had on hand. Tiny in size but huge in indulgent flavor!

Came in today with my friend since she recommended this place for its pies but I was disappointed. The selection is really small and they only had one to two real pie option, the rest was whoopie pies, two mason jars filled with something and what looked like a brownie muffin. I was hoping for pie pops or at least some more variety in the small pie options. I ended up getting the chocolate chip whoopie pie and it was really cold and hard. It was nothing special. The place was empty since it was a rainy day but I noticed there were dirty plates on the table next to us that looked like they had been sitting there awhile. The décor of the place was cute, I wish they actually had pies though.

One rule when going here: don’t you dare worry about calorie intake. It is a small batch artisan bakery where everything is made from scratch, by hand using natural, seasonal and local ingredients to every extent possible. So yes, lots of cream, sugar and love go into these. You taste the butter and loveliness that a good, down home dessert.
It’s adorable and fits perfectly into the lovely Audubon Park hood. Expect a warm, welcoming feel when you walk in. I adore their community table, I flock to that when I am here.
There are many options daily, so go in ready to be overwhelmed by decision making. Best to go in earlier in the day as everything is made fresh so once it’s gone from display, it’s most likely gone for the day.

If there is one thing you take from this review… if you like Coconut Cream Pie… GET THE COCONUT CREAM PIE. One of the very best I have ever had. And I have tested this various times a week just to make sure this is still a true fact each week =)

I got an assortment of mini, whoopie and hand pies to share with friends from out of town.
The mini pies’ crusts were too thick for the filling and a little rough, resulted in unpleasant mouthfeel. Kinda like eating sweetened sand, but the peanut butter filling was creamy and smooth so that almost saved the mini. Almost.
The mini blueberry pie was almost dried up, very unfortunate.
Whoopie pies were ok, but maybe not too fresh? Had a strange flavor. Like butter that picked up fridge flavor.
Everything was a little lackluster, but «ok», If that’s what you’re going for.
Maybe I’ll order a pie and update my review, but that seems risky with what I already tried. We shall see.

Stopped in here while it was rainy outside and I was feeling «under the weather». Just needed a pick me up. This cute little place perked me right up. Who doesn’t LOVE pie? P is for Pie bakes an assortment of different cakes, mini pies, and individual desserts daily. They also have coffee, tea, and Izzy sparkling beverages.
The menu today included mini quiche tarts, some whoopee pies, and hand pies. The majority of items for sale in this bakery are individual serving size. It’s nice to be able to try different desserts without having to buy a lot of a single item. The desserts are not that large and the price is reasonable, so try two! I noticed the wall menu also showed cutie pies, pie pops, and whole pies. The whole pies have to be ordered in advance for purchase.
I was able to sample the hummingbird cake and their chocolate cake with mocha icing. Both desserts were decadent but not overly sweet. There was a perfect balance of buttery-​ness (is that a word?) and sweetness without either flavor being too overwhelming. I have a huge soft spot for local bakeries and I love this little place. Cute interior, delicious desserts, and great coffee. If you were having a party and wanted to pick up a delicious assortment of desserts, I would definitely stop in here. This is a great location to chill out or pick up a dessert to go.

I came here with my daughter and what an adorable place. It’s so cute inside. There is nothing better then a Saturday morning and walking into a gem that is filled with desserts and coffee, can we say yum.
I decided to have a quiche, pecan pie, and a coffee. My daughter had the banana cream pie, which was in a mason jars, gosh I love those things. All three of the items selected were delicious. I am curious too see how there cupcakes are the next time I come.
Trust me you will not be disappointed by coming here, how can you go wrong with dessert and coffee.
