This is a cozy cute little lounge. The staff is really friendly. I believe it is family owned and operated by a Tongan group. Christina was making and serving the drinks. She took her time out to explain what Kava is and how to drink it. The prices are very inexpensive. I tried the Ceremonial Kava. My girlfriend tried the Solomon Chip and I tried hers. It did not have too much of a difference in taste to me, but they originate from different islands. Those were the only two that were in stock at the time, so we didn’t have the opportunity to sample anything else. The décor makes it feel like you’re in the islands. I came for a special event and they didn’t really play music until the end, so I wasn’t fortunate to get he whole feel of the place, but I think I might come back when I’m in the area again. Hopefully they will have more variety available.

Great place. Nice chill atmosphere and the kava is excellent. Had a chance to sit and speak with the owner who was very welcoming and friendly. I frequent kava bars often and this is certainly one of the best. Will come again when in the Orlando area. If you like kava and want to go experience a traditional kava experience in the Orlando area, this is the place for you!

Truly authentic kava in a laidback and welcoming atmosphere! Kava: 5⁄5 They have several different types to choose from. I’ve only tried the Vanuatu Ceremonial and Solomon Chip variety so far but both have been the best kava I have ever tasted. Not to mention the most potent kava. Very relaxing, euphoric, and much much gentler on the body than alcohol! Just go easy and once you feel it give it a little time to settle. The environment: 5⁄5 There is a wrap around bar where you can order and drink your kava shells. Behind the bar you can see the magic happen as various jugs are prepared. There are also two flat screen t.v.‘s, one which is set to relaxing island images. Nice reggae music floats through the air as you drift into a zen like kava state. The rest of the room is set up perfect for small-large groups to gather and chill out in a lounge type environment. There are couches and comfy seats surrounding huge bowls. These bowls are actually traditional ways of serving kava and you can order«kumete» and have them filled with a gallon of kava(or have the gallon on the side and fill as desired). I have not tried this yet but it would be great for when I’m with party of 3 – 4 or more. Service: 5⁄5 The staff has been friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about this traditional island drink. Value: 5⁄5 The kava is very reasonably priced($ 3 ceremonial, $ 5 Solomon Chip, with some more expensive options available for aged, more exotic root varieties). The«kumete» is an excellent value if you have a group or want to take some home.($ 40 for both ceremonial and Solomon Chip, with more expensive options available for the aged, exotic root drinks). I cannot recommend this place enough! Fun, unique place to spend the evening with friends or unwind after work. And most importantly, you won’t wake up filled with regrets and the hangover that some things(yes, alcohol) can lead to. I will be back soon!
