Now granted, I didn’t check this site while I was doing my searching but having checked it now, I’m shocked by the two bad reviews(although one from 2012 and one from 2013 are both now a bit dated) so I figured I’d toss in my two cents now that I am living here — I moved down from New Jersey so my search for an apartment was vast — I spent hours upon hours online and made two separate trips of 4&5 days to do nothing but look around for the place that I hope to spend a great deal of the near future living at — first off, Hunter’s Creek is phenomenal and seems to be worth every positive thing I heard and read about the place and of all the places I looked before choosing Parkway, none compare in location, size, amenities and, of course, staff — I will mention Gilma specifically since Alex mentioned her(which I thought was a bit messed up personally) — now granted, she did talk a «sweet game» when I first came here and DUH! — every place I went, they talked a sweet game — what are they supposed to do — tell you to run? But I will say this — in the couple months prior to my move and in the month that I’ve lived here, I can say this whole heartedly — the staff is fantastic and extremely friendly(I sat in Gilma’s office the other day to talk about an issue and we ended up chewing the fat for 20 minutes about regular life which if she was truly rude, uncaring or a pain to deal with, she would NOT have done and frankly, I would not have done either — I’ve had maintenance come in twice to address a few minor issues as you would expect and they were in my apartment both times within two days and everything was resolved except for my dishwasher which they can’t seem to fix(oh yea, and the new one is coming next Monday) so I would HIGHLY recommend this place, I find that the two prior bad reviews are not representative of this place at all — I would recommend this place to my friends and family and anyone — my expectations are known to be very high and so far, this place has hit every one of them — check around, do your research and if you do, I’m sure you’ll find this place is right where it should be — at the top of your list!

Friendly before you sign the papers then it’s all downhill from there. The only good thing is how friendly the maintenance crew is. Now if the office could make sure they tend to your needs in a timely manner is whole other story. Not enough parking for all those apartments. NOT enough lighting for people living on the wooded side. Not enough doggie stations.

Terrible experience — gave notice at the end of my lease and seven months after moving out I got a random collections call for $ 200, even after we completed the walk-through and I was given an OK to move out with no charges. They claimed there were spots on the carpet, my camera photos told another story. I forwarded the release letter and photos to the credit agency, but it still took months to dispute before they finally dropped the charges. They talk a sweet game at the front desk to get you in, and then maintenance drops the ball daily(often they can be found at their shacks hanging out instead of working) the secondary pool is always filthy and their pest control is a joke. Gilma is the property manager and she’s the worst of the bunch, rude and a pain to deal with. STAYAWAY.
