Pegasus Landing

These people are crooks! The don’t care about legal paperwork and have no concern for your well being at all. Forget about the façade, look ask anybody that is living there. The picture is beautiful, but the canvas is rotten.

Eww. That is how I sum up Pegasus Landing. Over the years, I’ve had many friends that lived in these apartments; all the way back to when it was still Knights Krossing. My sister recently lived there and boy was I glad when she finally moved out!
Pegasus Landing is set up just like the other student communities around UCF. They offer separate leases and roommate matching. The apartments are a fairly good size and each bedroom has it’s own individual lock on the door, so you have the apartment key and a room key to give you some privacy. They offer two, three and four bedroom apartments.
They are furnished with some basics — couch, end tables, coffee table, dining room set, beds, and dressers. The stuff is pretty low end and ghetto looking — but it does the job.
I have some BIG issues with Pegasus Landing.
First issue: VERY unsafe. A lot of similarities with Pegasus Pointe — started out with car break-​ins and has escalated to apartment break-​in and WORSE. I have heard of people being accosted when they are walking out to their cars and the last year my sis lived there a girl had someone bust into her apartment and attack her when she answered the door. You have to be very alert and play it smart if you are a female living alone (but I guess that can be said of living ANYWHERE).
Second Issue: Garbage disposal. Pegasus Landing offers the «convenience» of valet trash service. Basically, you can be über-​lazy and just put your garbage on at your front door and someone will pick it up a couple of times a week. This disgusted me because the dark and dank hallways always reeked of nasty old food and festering garbage. Some people would put leaking and torn garbage bags out in the hall and you’d have the joy of coming home to smelling someone’s old rotting Chinese take-​out from last week. GROSS!
The prices aren’t exactly cheap — $ 630/​per person for a two-​bedroom, $ 555/​per person for a three-​bedroom, and $ 535/​per person for a four-​bedroom. I’d say take your money elsewhere…
