Playground Magazine

Playground Magazine brings a balanced mix of all the aspects that make the modern Central Florida family. Their entire design, content and involvement in the community is awesome.
Their attractive and fun publication has become a staple in my magazine repertoire.
I love picking up my new copy at the Downtown Orlando Library, but i really need to get a subscription already. Playground features great articles and keeps us up to date with the many family friendly events they promote.

Being pregnant and having a baby no longer means that you are bed ridden and have to take months off of work or even become a stay at home mom. We live in a day and age where becoming a mother doesn’t necessarily mean you must put your professional and personal life on hold to welcome the new bundle of joy into your family. It also doesn’t mean that you have dress in «trash bag» dresses and forget about fashion all together. There are actually designers and stores that cater specifically to pregnant women and offer fashionable lines of maternity clothing. How does one find out about all this? Through the likes of Playground Magazine of course!
Playground Magazine is a «modern parenting magazine» that keeps women informed and up-​to-​date on the latest fashion trends in maternity clothing, where to shop for yourself and your children, where to go with your family including restaurants, parks and more, and any other baby or family related needs you may have or want to know about. The magazine itself is very colorful from front to back not only in the pictures and advertisements but also through the stories written within the publication. For the most part, it all flows well and is easy to understand.
A majority of advertisements in the magazine include photographers, event/​party planning stuff, clothing boutiques and shops, and activities such as dance and art studios. It’s all relative to families and the expecting mother. In the back of the magazine is a directory of places to eat, shop, and go for entertainment that is broken up into different parts of Central Florida. A brief description along with the website, phone number and physical address are all there for your convenience and knowledge.
Overall, this magazine seems to be very informative and one that I hope is around when I decided to begin a family of my own.
