Publix is Publix. Deli section is always quick and friendly. Cashiers and baggers always have a smile on their face. Love this location!

This deli has the urgency of a today’s college student planning for retirement…
Nothing is happening at all.
Just watching Publix employees ignore people…

Never had an online order made on time at this Publix. Made an online order (subs) at 830pm. Scheduled a pick up for 9pm and arrive at 915pm (as to give them extra time so we don’t wait when we get there) was shocked to see that 45 minutes later, our order still wasn’t ready.
There was 3 people working on subs and none of these guys even knew there was an online order. When they finally picked up our ticket, one girl tried to call us on the phone even though we told them we were in the store and have been waiting after everyone else in line. One guy could tell we were not happy so they tried to say that since we came late they tried to call us to confirm if we were still coming. I knew this was a lie because they never even knew they had a to go order until we got there to pick it up.
he also said its better that it happened this way because now we get to customize our order. Ummm. If I wanted it customized, it would have said so on the ticket. It doesn’t make sense to me that if I ordered an hour ago and you have three people working behind the counter, shouldn’t there be a designated person working on online orders? Last excuse was that at least it wouldn’t have been sitting outside for too long if it were made on time. Umm. How about you just worry about yourself and make it on time and we will worry about the condition of our subs when we pick it up? He should have apologized and just made the subs, all of these excuses were just unnecessary.
The lady behind me wanted sliced deli meat but was told she had to wait for an available slicer as there was only one out of multiples that wasn’t working. He first told the lady that they were broken but then later changed his story to that they shut them down early so they won’t have to stay too late after closing. The lady wasn’t very happy and has complained before that this Publix closes almost everything down at 9pm. Another girl came by to see if they had rotisserie chicken and they stopped making those too.
Long story short: online EASY ordering took 1 hour with unnecessary excuses.

The staff and store is awesome. I so appreciate the pharmacy staff. They take the time to review my prescriptions and make sure they are billed correctly through two insurances and I have ALOT of prescriptions!

I get it. Where shopping is a pleasure, but these prices are ridiculous. Unless they change their business model, they are going to get squeezed by aldi on one end and wholefoods on the other.

Ordered subs online. 20 mins showed up as promised; it was not ready as scheduled. I would not order it for work bc I’d be late. Bad Publix.

I like this Publix. It is one of the older-​style stores so it is arranged a bit differently than I am used to at my store, but I am still always able to find what I need.
When I go in (usually after work) they will have an employee preparing the Publix Apron recipes. I love sampling the things they make and picking up recipe cards.
I have been very lucky with check-​out here. 5:00 is usually a big dinner-​shopping rush but they will have plenty of registers open.
Yesterday I overheard an adorable conversation. An older lady was talking to an employee in the dairy section, evidently requesting an item they didn’t have in stock. He was so kind to her, saying he recognized her as a regular customer, appreciated her buisiness, and he’d be sure to get whatever she needed. His mom should be proud.
This is a good Publix. I wish it was closer to home, I would shop here all the time.

An amazing staff! Every time I go in there everyone is always incredibly helpful & friendly! They will ask how you’re doing & are always ready to help finding things! Wonderful subs & it’s never chaotic inside or in the parking lot! Great location on University Blvd & they have THE BEST DEALS!

Have you ever had someone look at you and suddenly you fear for your life? That happened to me at Publix today!
I went in early this morning to get some fruit to take in to work and the produce guys are busy stocking, one of them (The manager btw) was stocking strawberries which is one of the things I wanted. He looked up at me when he heard my heels hit the floor and gave me the most angry and disgusted look I’ve seen in. I don’t even know! I was expecting him to snarl and show me his teeth in warning to not approach him any further, but I’m getting my strawberries whether he likes it or not I mean that is the point of them being in business is it not? So people can buy merchandise from them… Anyway; I smile and say good morning and he doesn’t answer at all and actually tried to block my way as if not to get them! I was close to laughing out loud right in front of him but instead I reached over him (yup, I did) and took a good looking container of strawberries, and then said: «Have a great day!» I thought he was going to run after me and chase me down to take the strawberries back.
Holy cow!!! I mean, apparently I’m the only this happens to because everyone else is giving this Publix 5 stars. This is not the first time I’ve run into such hostile behavior at this publix either, it happened to me a while back too at the bakery. I had asked if they had some multigrain bread because they usually have it out in baskets for you take, and the lady gave me an attitude like she didn’t have time to check. What is up with the people who work at this Publix!!!
The only reason why I bothered with two stars is because the times I’ve gone to the Deli they’ve always been very nice and helpful, the deli manager there will chat you up and genuinely seems to care where as the produce manager will drop kick you in the face if you so much as approach his territory.
Go ahead, keep your precious produce to yourself; I will never step foot in this Publix again.

The store has potential but not my favorite. Lately the ‘blockers’ have been lazy and are just pulling everything to the front and not watching what products go with what tags. If you don’t see the brand or flavor you want, but the shelves look nice and full, push the items aside and look near the back.
The bakery is awesome and you’ll not find a better place to order a Birthday cake. They are restricted to copy right laws and stuff, but they can work with you if you need something different.
I prefer the Publix on Aloma and 417.

Another great location and just like all the Publix i have been to this one is as good as the rest, it has everything you need and also has Sushi and a nice bakery and Deli.
Costumer service is awesome and they are open till 10pm, very convenient for the students near by in 10pm.
Located off University Blvd near UCF it is in a good location with other local business.

I have been going to this same publix since middle school… and I dont know if it because It feels like home when I walk in, but all employees are so helpful, and polite. They take ANY coupons without hesitation. The bakery is sooo attentive and always have fresh cookies for the kiddos (my daughters favorite)…and everything is super clean, organized, and you cant beat those bogo deals. I love publix brand as well and will prefer it over anything else. they have mastered it well. I love this location, and give kudos to the management team for doing a great job!
