They have a great calendar of events and a beautiful space. We are just not very impressed by the wine itself unfortunately. The food we’ve had at catered events was very good.

Had no plans on a Friday night and figured it was a good time to try Quantum Leap. There were only about 8 other people there at around 6pm. The prices for a flight were awesome(you pay double or triple on Park Ave) and I enjoyed every wine I tried. It wasn’t until the tour that I realized how special Quantum Leap is. Their #1 priority is sustainability. They are developing and utilizing environmentally-friendly methods that are changing the wine industry while keeping their prices extremely affordable. I’m proud to have this gem right here in Orlando!

One of my most favorite finds recently! On a random Thursday meeting with my best friend we happened to be in the area and decided to try out this(new to us) winery I found. We walked in having no idea what we would find and were so pleasantly surprised. The staff behind the bar is so knowledgeable and friendly, the wine is DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere is perfect. I can’t wait to go back for another round and spend more time here. What a great addition to the Mills area and Orlando in general.

Quantum Leap is a hidden gem in the Mills 50 district. And when I say hidden, I quite literally mean hidden. Your first visit to Quantum you may find the winery difficult to locate.(Hint: It’s just off Mills and Virginia across the street from The Fresh Market plaza) I’ve been to Quantum twice now. Each time for very different reasons. But both experiences left me thoroughly impressed. My first experience attending one of their Friday night Wine Downs. The second Friday of each month, Quantum keeps it’s doors open later and has a food truck come on location. It’s a fun evening of delicious wines and awesome noms from local food truck. Plus live music Good times for you vino lovers and foodies alike. I attended with a few friends and we had a blast. Will definitely be back for that event. I recently found myself back at Quantum for a Christmas party for several local organization, one of which I am a part of(Ad 2 Orlando). They had the back room wine cellar opened, which I didn’t have the opportunity to check out what I was there previously. The location is absolutely gorgeous. They even hold weddings back there. Very nice setup. A little about the wine: Quantum has some amazing sips. I don’t consider myself a wine expert, but every variety I’ve tried there has been delightful. They have something for every palate pleasure. Great venue for date night, GNO or a private event. Will be back many times over.

I love that our city now has places like Quantum Leap Winery — this place is awesome! They bring grape juice from all over the world & make different varieties right here in Orlando at a beautiful location in the Mills50 area. The owners & staff are passionate about wine, Orlando, & the wine making process with the highest standards, it’s really a joy to experience. Though they make a lot of wines, my favorites are the dry Riesling & the Pinot Noir, unbelievably delicious. Zip these bad boys as you get a tour of the winery & learn all about making wine in Central Florida. And if you’re with your pup no worries, Quantum Leap Winery is dog friendly!

Nice winery, the staff are outgoing and friendly and they are allowed to bring their dogs to work; guests can bring their k-9 friends also. The wine is good and the tastings are inexpensive and not shy on pours. The bottles can be pricey but I feel like they are worth it. I’ll definitely be back again when visiting winter park.

So I really don’t know much about wine. I just know what I like, which is usually reds and anything on the sweeter side. After visiting Quantum Leap I have a new appreciation for other styles. Me and my friends decided to give the mix tasting a try, which includes a 4oz pour each of Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Merlot for $ 5(!!!). I was surprised the dry Riesling ended up being my favorite. I even ended up buying a bottle. The employees were very helpful and gave a lot of background information on the wines we were drinking, as well as Quantum Leap’s overall process. One of the employees even commiserated with my friends about their diabetic cats over some delicious sparkling rose. As an owner of two rescue dogs, I’m glad to see they support them as well. Quantum Leap is now on my list of must visits when I’m in the Mills50 area.

Such a cute space! I went for a doggie washing event on a Saturday afternoon. I had a few flights of wine(they’re only $ 5 btw for 3 generous pours), the Italian white was the best! The inside is clean and cute and they allow dogs so that’s a big win for me. I will definitely be going back to check out their food truck Friday that they have once a month.

The hours aren’t great but oh man is it worth it. They give you very generous pours for a taste room. Most of their wine tastings are $ 5 and are delicious! I also found that their wine is super affordable! $ 14 for most bottles of wine. I was partial to the Kaley’s rescue red wine blend but all of the wines I did taste were phenominal.

The tasting room has horrible hours, but the staff is very knowledgable and friendly. It’s very clear they love what they do. The wine is great, and definitely the best value you will find in Florida! They buy crushed grapes from around the world, then ferment them at their winery.

It is only open a few days during the week, but this place is totally worth planning ahead! Depending on your mood, the indoor bar(featuring wine on tap!) is very relaxed, with large leather chairs and contemporary art on the walls. Outside– my favorite– is a small deck with a seating area that’s perfect for groups! Must love dogs. The winery dogs are well behaved and can be very friendly! They are great with my dog– guests’ dogs are welcome in the tasting room– and sitting on the patio with her makes a perfect afternoon!

Located just behind the 711 on the corner of Mills and Virginia, it’s a little hard to find, but once you do you won’t be disappointed! If you’ve been to wine country then you will know what to expect from this Orlando area tasting room. Quantum Leap isn’t a bar. It is a traditional tasting room which sometimes closes for private events which are super cool. I joined their wine list and got all the updates on educational epicurean events like cheese and wine pairing classes or chocolate and wine pairing classes! If you check out their tasting room you can sample their wines for sale by the glass or for better value, check out their flights of the latest and greatest and some of the original blends that the owners have mixed up. I recommend the dry Riesling(if you don’t typically like Rieslings). The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable too!

Want a place to grab a nice glass of wine after work? This is your place — if it’s Thursday or Friday. Want to grab a bite to eat and drink some wine? You can do that twice a month. Want to go grab dinner elsewhere and then get some wine? You’d better hurry. The tasting room is only open to the public Thursday and Friday from 2 – 7 and Saturdays from 12 – 6 and you can’t bring in outside food. The only food you’re allowed to eat is from the food truck(s) they bring in once a month or from the occasional food pairing event they do. They don’t even offer the ubiquitous cheese plates available at pretty much every other winery. I understand if they don’t want to serve their own food, but to not allow people to bring stuff in to snack on while they drink is just dumb. So, enough of me griping about their ridiculous hours and food policies. The staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. The pours were reasonable. My wife has visited separately and done a few tasting flights and gotten a full pour. We did the flight of red tastings on our visit. The standard flights are three pours for $ 5. They have a special reserve flight which costs more. The reds I tasted were decent, but largely unremarkable. Nothing was as sweet as your typical Florida wines, but as is necessary for non-fruit wines in Florida, the materials are imported from elsewhere in the country and the wine is finished here. Quantum Leap has a nice venue, which looks like it’s great for the events(weddings, etc) that they offer it up for, but as for a winery where I want to go to to sit with a bottle or two and relax? This place is a no-go — and only because they apparently choose to be.

Was actually walking around aimlessly trying to find a place to have a glass of wine at. As we made a column left(Marine lingo) to head towards Santiago’s, I saw a barrel through an open garage door and realized there must be booze there. Upon realizing that it was a winery, the senesce were intrigued to inquire as to if we could drink at the place or if they just produced wine for distribution. They did indeed serve wine and had a great little area with couches, tables, a bar to stand at, and a good selection of wines produced at this actual winery and wines from other parts of the country/world. The bartender was great at explaining the wines, offering the choices that there were, i.e. sampling vs. having a glass of wine. As I’m a Cabernet-guy, it came down to some cab from South Africa or a Napa Valley cab. I opted for the Napa Valley. It was delicious. It was $ 9 a glass, which isn’t bad and pretty common for a good glass of wine. This wine at a bar would probably be more like $ 12-$ 15 a glass I’m assuming as it tasted better than overpriced cheap wine elsewhere. For instance, a bottle of Freakshow Cabernet, which is amazing, sells for $ 18.99 at liquor stores, and Santiago’s has it for $ 45 a bottle… NUTS! But, that’s neither here nor there :) Sat at a leather couch in the back of the winery and glanced over at the art that is for sale on the wall. Neat concept. What I really enjoyed was the music. This is the only bar that I’ve been to where they were playing Mumford and Sons… slam dunk! Overall great place.

Came here for a friend’s birthday party, and definitely enjoyed the experience. Huge, open room with a bar in the center, high tops around, and bottles of wine for sale. My two gripes are that the bartender wasn’t the politest(or anywhere close to polite, actually) and that there weren’t many tables. I could easily see this place filling up quickly, and for our group of 6, we had to use two of their small tables so everyone could sit together. Wine wise, I really enjoyed everything I tasted. I was very partial to the Cabernet Reserve, and ended up buying a bottle to take home though it was the most expensive of all the bottles they had($ 50-ish). We did get a tour of the back area, which was really neat. The lady who gave us the tour answered all of our questions, and if she didn’t know, she came back to our table later on and told us what she found out. I liked that!

Quantum Leap Winery is located off of Virgina in the Ivanhoe District. The tasting room is open to purchase room by the glass and by the bottle. I recently popped in to pick up a few gift items for the holidays– they had a nice assortment of premade gift baskets and cool wine accessories. I also sampled through their current wine offerings, which were delicious. Especially great if you are a fan of red wines, but there are some lovely white wines to please everyone. Like their Facebook page for current events– they have a food truck night, spa night and offer lots of tastings and classes. I have attended the wine and cheese tastings with Tonda from La Femme du Frommage and they are great! Staff was very helpful in making my selections and very knowledgeable about wines. Tours are available and they host private events.

Came here recently for a school fundraiser benefit and am very impressed by my experience. I had never been here before but had kept hearing wonderful things about it from friends who have visited. As soon as I turned the corner, I was greeted with the bright, lit up sign. I had no idea this place existed off of Mills. Parking filled up fast but there is plenty of it off street. Just make sure not to block any driveways. The inside is huge. While I am in no way a wine expert, I can appreciate a nice glass of wine. I love the big bar in the middle and there also several hightop tables towards the back. There is some beautiful artwork on the walls for purchase as well. I loved the outdoor area with the seating but beware of the steep drop below. Would be a great spot for girls night out. Looking forward to checking out other future events here with friends.
