I have wanted to have my house wired for Ethernet for at least ten years now. I finally decided it was time to bite the bullet and get it done. I was starting to get a significant number of large files for HD movies and hi-​res photos that would have difficulty downloading or being viewed on my home theatre PC from my media server. Also, I am just too old and fat to crawl around in my attic to run cable. So, it was time to find a legit company and get it done. I did some research and it is actually hard to find a company willing to what amounts to fairly small residential job with just a few drops. It came down to just a few local companies that sounded like they would fit the bill. Well, one company that I will not name, except to say that their name rhymes with fired and tired, was really snooty and acted like my little house as totally beneath them, and also lied and said they would e-​mail me a quote, which they never did. Then I spoke with Julio at Quantum and I knew I found the right guys for the job,
Julio came out and looked over my layout and what I wanted to do and gave me a quote. After a few e-​mails to schedule his crew came out and nocked it all out in a day. They were super knowledgeable and did a great job setting everything up and making sure it all worked. This was the best home upgrade ever, I wish I did it years ago. Now all the slow wireless connections we had are a thing of the past. My wife’s PC in her office and my home theatre setup are now blazing fast with no waiting or lag for anything. Sharing photos and music is now totally pleasurable as it should be.
