When I first found this local spot, I thought I had died and gone to gluten-free heaven! The cupcakes, cookies, and all goodies alike are absolutely amazing! Locally owned and operated, you will often find the owner in the back, creating their next delight. If you’re gluten-sensitive, the’ve got you covered! And even if you’re not, I guarantee you’ll LOVE their goodies!

I’ve been gluten free(not by choice, by allergy!) since February 2015. I’ve struggled to find a small business that offers delicious gluten free treats. My birthday just passed and I was getting anxious because everyone else in my family can eat gluten. I didn’t want to subject them to what could be called an ‘acquired taste’. We’ve tried many different gluten free bakery goods, with varying tastes. From super dense grittiness to bland fluff, we’ve had it all. Well, my birthday rolls around, and we’re still empty handed. My mom and sister took me out to lunch, to get some boba tea at Chewy, and our last stop was at Rhapsodic. My mom surprised me and ordered a cake! We walked in, and immediately our senses were filled with beautiful paintings, delicious smelling soaps, adorable cards, and a friendly and warm welcome by the ladies behind the counter. We ended up picking up my cake, a super moist and delicious chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry filling, purchasing a few soaps, and a to die for chocolate chip scone. I am so sorry to hear that they are closing forever on October 23, but you can bet that I will be back many, many times before then!

Awesome! I’m a vegetarian transitioning to vegan and my beau its but even he enjoyed the yummy desserts they offer here. We live a good 30 minutes away but they are worth the drive and we will be back. The cookies and cupcakes we had were great!

After a less than appetizing cupcake the first visit(it was way too dry) I decided to give them another chance since there aren’t that many options for vegan cupcakes in the area. I tried the Blueberry Crème and I must say it was one of the BEST cupcakes that I’ve ever had. It tasted so genuine, not box-cake mix like. The girls are super helpful and sweet. Definitely worth stopping by!

This is a vegan’s dream come true right in the heart of Orlando. I prefer the non-gluten free items but so far everything I have tried that isn’t gluten free is so good. The cupcakes are moist and flavorful. The brownies practically melt in your mouth. I do wish they were open a little longer — I once went right as they were closing even though the internet had said they were open an hour longer. You can find their sweets in many places around the area.

Great vegan bakery. Unique flavors that are awesome(with a few exceptions [lavendar]). Only four stars because the hours are rather incovienent. We park across the street so it’s easier. Great prices.

This place is SOCUTE! I was feeling adventurous looking for a home baked dessert at a place I have never been, that is not a chain. Driving home from«Mills50» area I spotted this on the corner just before I missed it and swerved into the CVS parking lot across the street and ran over, literally dodging cars. It is a very unique little shop with gluten free & regular cupcakes and other baked goods. Everything is vegetarian. Cookies, cheesecakes, good variety of flavors to choose from that change out frequently. I ended up ordering this cinnamon espresso cheesecake. It was not as tasty as I hoped it would be, but it was gluten free. They had peach cookie & cinnamon cupcake testers that were both very good. Next time I will try a cupcake. They do have a $ 5 minimum with debit/credit so I had to find something else to buy, I ended up buying a mini lip balm(all natural of course!) and it works very well. They also sell raw honey, hand made natural soaps, and other MISC items.

What a lovely bakery! The staff was so kind and friendly and allowed us to bring in our coffees from across the street. The bakery selection is vast and everything is vegan! About half of the selections are also gluten free. They typically have a large variation of cupcake flavors and they also have special treats like cookie/frosting sandwiches(oh my gosh) and fruity treats. The flavors are very unique and rather earthy. Vanilla lavender is one of my favorites. You can also pre-order six cupcakes selecting from different cake, filling, and frosting flavors! The interior is smal and quaint. There is plenty of room to enjoy your treat in the shop.

Even though it’s on the side of the road and kind of difficult to find, you must stop at this bakery for some of the most amazing cupcakes in Orlando. As soon as you walk in, you’ll be greeted by a lovely lady who will immediately make you her number one priority and begin to ask you about yourself and any dietary restrictions you may have. Then she will show you all the lovely goodies they have to offer, which are all vegan and half of them are gluten free! They offer 1,000 cupcake flavors, however, they mix it up daily(as all of their pastries are baked daily). Some of their pastries include cupcakes, biscotti, cakes, homemade twinkies, cookies, and brownies. They’re very inexpensive for specialty pastries which is a huge plus. I had the mocha, carrot, tiramisu, fruity berry(I think that’s the name) cupcakes and double chunky chocolate chip cookie. I must say they were amazing! Super moist, the fillings were sweet but not too overpowering which is awesome. I have to say though, the frosting has a great consistency and it tastes amazing, but it is at times very sweet which can be a hit or miss with me. Overall, I had a really good experience here and I will definitely be coming back, Babycakes has nothing on this bakery. In addition, they offer a big menu of delicious teas, as well as art from local artists that change monthly and are available for purchase. This is a must go to spot for any pastry loving individual. Will be a loyal customer for sure.

I really really like this bakery and I’m not even vegan. These are the first vegan deserts I’ve tried that I’ve actually liked. I had their espresso cupcake and their tuxedo cupcake and they were both yum. They also have cinnamon rolls, brownies, and cookies which I have yet to try. The staff was extremely friendly too by the way. Reason I didn’t give 5 star? 1. Their hours are weird. They open pretty late for a bakery 2. The cupcakes should be eaten with a fork and knife because they crumble after a few bites so you can’t really eat them like a normal cupcake. But like I said it is a great bakery and I would definitely go back.

Was super excited to find this Vegan bakery on one of trips to Orlando but was pretty disappointed in it, the two times we tried it. First of all, their hours are weird. a bakery that doesn’t open until 11 is kind of strange. I found this out after driving for 25 minutes to find the place. oh well. The selection was minimal on both tries and the cupcakes very very dry and somewhat tasteless except for the frosting, which I could have eaten by the gallon! The staff however, was super nice on both occasions.

Seems to be the first bakery in Orlando that specializes in vegan and gluten free baking! I got the espresso chocolate cupcake which was gluten free and then the strawberry chocolate cupcake which was vegan. Yes, there is a difference! Textures are different from your regular cupcakes, I thought they were wonderful and these ladies did a great job making these. I do have a comment about a comment a girl behind the counter made. She asked me if I had any food allergies while I was browsing all these cupcakes, I said no, then she asked someone else next to me if they had food allergies, then that person said«gluten«, the girl said«oh, then you know what you are looking at.» Just because I don’t have any allergies and just browsing for the ones I like, does not mean I don’t know what I was looking at. Don’t make this bakery only welcoming people with allergies!

Life is good at Raphsodic Bakery. We randomly parked on the side of the road for a phone call and wandered inside. The woman at the counter was so nice and helpful. She explained the cupcakes were vegan and gluten free and made from Magic. Ok. So maybe not from Magic but it tasted like it. We purchased a chocolate pumpkin cupcake. It was perfect. Not dry or crumbly. My lover explained«this can’t be vegan!» We also picked up the cranberry pumpkin butter for Christmas dinner. We heard the ketchup they make is yummy but they were sold out. The owner told us that if we want some to call in before we come. Ohhhhh we will definitely be coming back.

One of the very few vegan bakeries in Orlando that offers lots of vegan and gluten free treats. The way it could be better is if they didn’t use sugar or soy margarine. But overall it’s pretty satisfying, especially for people that can rarely have baked goods due to food intolerances.

Stopped in here since my husband has a ton of food allergies. The staff is friendly and knows the ingredients of all of their baked goods. Most are not too sweet, which I love. The marzipan biscotti was rich and filling. The triple berry vanilla cupcake(gluten-free, nut-free, vegan) was fluffy, buttery, and bursting with flavor. There are a few dozen tea options as well. The prices are lower than most specialty bakeries and it is clear that the employees are passionate and enjoy their jobs.

Stumbled on this place as I looked for a vegan gluten free place. It’s very hipsterish looking kinda hippie. Cupcakes were ok. Not my favorite. Also not crazy about the presentation. Overall it was good if you don’t mind looks.

It was about three weeks ago on a Monday night that I first encountered the Raphsodic Bakery. About once a month many women have an experience where they are overtaken by a curse that can only be removed by the consumption of rich sweets, mostly involving chocolate. It was also at this time that I was testing out vegan alternatives to my favorite foods, and so I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try Raphsodic. What happened next I can only attribute to supernatural forces. I planned to just buy a few cupcakes to take home for me and my husband, but thanks to the friendly staff I walked out with four cupcakes AND one of their«day old» boxes. I rushed home so that I could begin to lift the curse. I started with a Black and White cupcake. It was very tasty, but the edges were a bit hard, not dry, but hard from cooking. I think this could have been fixed if the icing had gone out to the edges of the cupcake, as the inside and the part covered in paper and icing was moist. The cake was the consistency of more like a Banana Bread rather than a cupcake, but I don’t think that took away from the dessert at all. After consuming the Black and White, I was still afflicted by the curse, so I was forced to eat another cupcake. Yes people, don’t judge, it was not in my control. This time I ate one from the day old box, a Chocolate Pecan. This one was so decadent, and I think it would be worth going back to Raphsodic just for this. The chocolate fudge icing had all the rich chocolatey flavor you would want. I know you’re thinking that certainly after two cupcakes the curse would be lifted, but you see, things were completely out of my control at this point, and I succumbed to the supernatural. Yes I ate a third and final cupcake. I ate the Butter Pecan?(I think) cupcake. This one was by far the best. The cake was perfectly moist, again the consistency was more like a carrot cake than a Twinkie or a Swiss cake roll, but this was not a bad thing at all. The icing was rich and fluffy and had a wonderfully buttery flavor. There was also some salt on top which really made the flavors pop. After this cupcake the curse was lifted. Rahpsodic has delicious cupcakes, and a friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Delicious vegan cupcakes! During my week stay in Orlando, I visited this place thrice. Though it was closed the first time. But going back not once, but twice is just to exemplify how happy this place made my girlfriend and I. She was heartbroken that babycakes in downtown disney had closed. Thankfully; I was prepared and Unilocaled this for her. Their products are moist, and sweet(though the topping might be overly so), the associate was nice and bubbly– she made us feel welcomed in the store. Will return for my next Orlando visit. Thanks!

Holy moly guacomole! the most delicious VEGAN cupcakes hands down! I only knew about this place because of coming to Dandelion Café which sells their vegan cupcakes for desserts. I had tried their toasted coconut and fell in love! I decided coming here on a Saturday afternoon to further test their other flavors. Parking can be crazy but luckily there was no one parked in front when I came so I was able to get a good spot. Walking into the bakery, it had that hole in the wall sort of feel and felt somewhat antique and vintage in terms of style. I was greeted by the lady upfront and asked if I needed any help but I said I was still deciding. Her husband then came out to assist me. He even asked if I had any allergies or was gluten free, which I both said no to. I was astounded by how many different flavors they had, and all their cupcakes were vegan friendly! He was courteous in answering all my questions from which cupcakes he recommended to how long is the shelf life of the cupcakes. IMPORTANT: He told me not to refrigerate these cupcakes as they would turn to stone and that you can freeze them and defrost them and they would be in the same state before they were frozen. He also said that you cant keep these in the heat to long or they will perish. I reccomend you only come here as your last stop of the day so your cupcakes will not go bad in the Florida heat. Anyways, I chose 4 flavors, vanilla chai, sea salt chocolate pecan, chocolate chai, and strawberry cheesecake! Each cupcake was $ 3 so my total was $ 13 including tax, however you have to realize they are pricier than conventional store bought cupcakes because of the quality ingredients used to make them vegan friendly. He boxed them up for me in a brown cardboard box and even offered a menu for all their flavors. They also create vegan cakes pies and brownies, but you have to order those in advance. I can tell that him and his wife are very passionate about their baking and customer service. When I got home, I first tried the vanilla chai. It was absolutely delicious! The frosting is a bit hardened on the outside but after you bite into it it is soft and buttercream like in texture. The texture of the actual bread part is kind of like a banana or walnut bread, and very moist on the inside. I repeat they are not the same texture as a store bought cupcake from say Publix or Walgreens because of the fact they do not contain gluten to make them extra fluffy. I liked how naturally sweet the cupcakes taste, as in comparison to Sweet Good Golly cupcakes are just mostly emphasized on the rancid sweet of the icing and then the bread does not have much flavor when tasting it. I both could taste the flavor from the icing AND bread! The chai was definitely my favorite because of the spicy elements in the bread. Overall, I reccomend any of the chai or coconut cupcakes! I am still willing to try other flavors as well. I had a wonderful experience here and letting you know you should try out this place! My future birthday cupcakes will be from here!
