Real Thread

Working with Real Thread was really pleasant until we received the actual product. We ordered a three color design using water based ink on a light Next Level shirt. When we received the 500 pieces we ordered, we realized the print was very pale — after just one or two washes the design was very difficult to see. The design was almost entirely washed out and just looked kind of dirty. The scale of the printed design also did not match the proof that was provided to us.
I contacted Real Thread about this and they told me that this was an issue with the design we submitted. Their recommendation was to use brighter inks next time so that they would wash down to a faded color. This wasn’t helpful for us at that point unfortunately and we had spent our entire budget on this one promo item.
Five stars in speaking with them up until we received the product, one star for the product itself and willingness to stand behind their product. Wish I had a different experience because I really pushed my friends and the designer into working with them as I felt water based would provide us with a superior product. It just didn’t work out this way and left us all disappointed. I can’t recommend them for this reason unfortunately.

Our first order went great. Everything was seamless. Everyone there was willing to help in any way they could. The shirts came out fantastic. They’ve been a hit. Thanks guys!
