Staff is rude and does not listen to the patients needs. I kept trying to explain something to them over the phone and they kept interrupting without listening to all of the details. They also don’t follow up on calls/request and loose patients vitals in the office that they write on post it notes. The doctor refused to come to the phone after I asked to speak with him and I kept getting transferred to the different incompetent ladies who work the front desk. Save yourself the time and money and go find another doctor who will actually make time for his patients.

As to the comments above, Yes it is a long wait(appointment or not), but I have been seeing Dr. Rego for almost two years and he has always been patient, informing and extremely helpful, not to mention professional. I see three different specialists as well as Dr. Rego and the wait is not much different at those offices as well. Dr. Rego has taken the time to explain refferals, diagnosis and treatments, even when my other doctors still did not. I feel Dr. Rego is trustworthy and well respected among his peers. I suffers from several different chronic medical problems, and Dr. Rego has helped on his part tremendously! As for the staff, extremely nice people yes they do speak English and Spanish(I am English speaking only), but that has never even wayed in on Dr. Rego’s care, at least in my case. All I can say is that I have had many different pcp and specialists, I did the research before going to Dr. Rego and I have found him to be extremely thorough, knowledgable and helpful. To sum it up I would highly recommend Dr. Rego to anyone looking for a PCP in the area!!!

I have experienced the HORRIBLE office staff here for the LAST time. Not only am I treated like a second rate citizen because I don’t speak Spanish,(however I do understand most of it, and that was just ONE mistake they made), I am always made to wait… and wait… and wait… and wait. The last time, my appointment time was for 1, I arrived at 12:30 and at 3:30 I finally said something. I was told I could make another appointment and come back. No apology. I refused. This was not the first time I waited more than two hours. When I finally was sent to the back room to wait for another half hour, it was 4:30. When the doctor came in(in a rush at close to 5) he mentioned in a catty way that he heard that I complained about the«little wait». I informed him that my appointment was for 1, 4HOURS ago. If it happened once that would be unacceptable, this was OUTRAGEOUS because it was every single time. He rushes his time with you and has misdiagnosed more than half of my ailments. His office staff is rude and incompetent. I only kept going because it is so hard to find a good doctor, but even a mediocre doctor is better than this guy. I leave Rego and his staff with this… Don’t assume someone doesn’t understand Spanish just because they are white… I may not speak it, but I can understand it pretty dang well.
