The same problem that happened to Susan C happened to me. I tried to donate some furniture and after arranging the pick up, the driver looked at the furniture(which admittedly had some scratches) but overall in good condition he refused to take the furniture. Completely wasted the time and effort to arrange the pick up and not with someone else. It’s a little unreasonable to expect the furniture to be in perfect condition.

Have yet to shop here but have been here to drop off donations many times through out the year. I guess you can say I’m a bit of a donation drop off expert. Make sure to bring house hold goods or clothes in bags or boxes or they will not take it. For larger items depending on what it is you have to drop it off in the back. If it is furniture and such must not have pet hairs on it. Which is understandable since the donations might end up in someones house who are allergic to pet dander. Overall they are always helpful with unloading and educating on their donation policy. Also if you have no means of transporting donations they will also pick up as well, I use the app to schedule a pickup. But you will need advance notice! Atleast a couple dayd or so!

Donor beware: if you wish to donate furniture and it’s heavy and upstairs, even though they say that’s okay and will book a pick-up date, once in your home the driver may decide it’s not worth the effort. I moved two rooms of furniture to help clear the way and then was left with the mess due to this last-minute change of heart.
