Save-A-Lot

Save-​a-​lot is a discounted «bring your own bags» grocery store. You give up a few conveniences for savings on groceries. It’s comparable to an Aldi’s but I prefer it over Aldi’s honestly. You won’t find ALL the major brands here, but I can feed my family of four for around $ 300 a month. The store name brand food here is actually pretty good. Fruit and veggies I usually pick up at a local farmer’s market. Just seems save-a-lot’s don’t really last that long. If you are looking for affordable groceries and don’t mind buying bags in the store or bringing your own you should give it a try and compare. And by the way… English speaking employees here. Much more enjoyable than a trip to Wal-​Mart. That is all.
