They are horrible and terribly unprofessional.
I had spoken to Joey their designer about signage. One of my specific questions was do you handle permitting… he said yes.
We spoke about different signs for my business and he proceeded to design 3 types. banners, A frame and a pillar sign… Immediately after his design was rendered I was informed by Ron Miller that he no longer worked for them. This was mid January 2013. Ron said no worries we will take care of everything. They delivered the banners and A frame sign… to my dismay the a-​frame sign is not legal in Altamonte (a permitting issues)…Ron told me tough luck. I went round and round with him that this sign was of no use to me… he finally agreed to a credit, which I never received.
2 days ago my pillar sign was installed… it was installed in the wrong location! When I called Ron he told me that the city would not allow the sign where I wanted it. WHAT!~ I was really upset at the placement in front of a very large in girth pine tree. He replied have the tree removed.
The bottom line is when the permits where pulled they should have known the sign was not able to be placed where it was originally pictured in their estimate. They should have called and told me we need to find another location or make a smaller sign. This never happened the day before the install, Ron had mentioned a 6″ difference but it would not be a big deal… I said yes it would. He retracted and told me that it would go where originally planned. When I pulled in and saw the sign blocked by this very large pine tree I called him, stated my concerns and he hung up on me!
Later in the day I received an invoice for the remainder of the sign. I sent back an email stating, that we need to get the sign placed properly or fixed… Tammy replied with the same response remove the tree!
The tree removal is not an option. Altamonte Springs is very stringent on tree removal. Even if they where not the tree is so large that it would be easily over $ 1000.
In her email she stated that they are removing the sign and I will be billed for permits, removal, designs, and on and on. I had yet to respond, when I pulled in today the sign was being removed!
I will be filing a civil suit! Do not use these con artist.
