The Waterford lakes location was very helpful. I was given the wrong directions and instead of going to FRI for my x-​ray, I ended up at Simonmed instead. As I entered the office I was greeted with a smile and a «hi, how may I help you?, which came from a kind gentleman to my right. Roosevelt helped me set up my appointment, which I was told was a walk in only on the phone. I didn’t have time to keep taking off of work but he was able to make an appointment around my time and in a timely manner. Thank you Roosevelt and the Waterford location for helping me when no one else would.

I was overpaid on my copay, it was supposed to be $ 50 but they charged me $ 112.13, and I tried to get my refund for over a year and every time I called their billing department, they always give me the same answer that it’s in «process, and I should get my refund within two weeks».well, it has been more than a year, and I have yet to get my refund. I’ll never go to SimonMed Imaging ever again in this life time… or next.

I have been very happy with the Simon Med in Oviedo. The front desk staff have always been friendly and helpful as well as the technicians and I have been coming here for years.

X ray tech was friendly and professional. My gripe is about the con they pull with billing.BEWARE. My chiropractor referred me here as a new patient. Dr said they have a contract with Simon for $set fee which I confirmed with Simon at time of service. I paid the bill and insisted that clerk sign my copy paid in full which she did reluctantly. The friend who referred me said be careful as Simon will try to rebill at a much higher price. Guess what… all my effort to assure and confirm pricing was in vain. You guessed it… they double billed me also. As I confirmed to Simon I have no insurance and I was self pay and the Dr office said they had a «contract» with Simon for a flat set fee. I received a bill yesterday demanding full payment immediately for 5 TIMES THE QUOTED AMOUNT. THIS IS THE EXACT SAME ISSUE MY REFERRING FRIEND HAD. IN MY BOOK (opinion)These people are cons. :(

2 stars. mainly due to the anxiety filled waiting room. The staff here honestly is super nice… at least those who do the scans and imaging. Front desk people seem to be in their own world honestly but I understand they are busy. What I am most disappointed in is the waiting room. First of all, they must overbook appointments because the waiting room is always pretty full. And I mean it’s uncomfortable. The noise level, the heat, the seating, etc. It almost had me in tears. There are no signs up ANYWHERE to tell people to stay off their phones and electronics. I was near a lady who was watching a soap opera full blast on her iPad. She had no care about people around her. We had kids screaming and people being rude… left and right. The bathroom smelled pretty bad and lingered in the room. It made me change where I was sitting. Also, it was pretty hot and I felt like I might pass out. :(Something needs to change for sure.

I live 20 min away, so I called this place to make an appt gor an x-​ray. They said «just come right over». I drove there and was told that their x-​ray machine has been down all day. They sent me to their Oviedo brunch. But when I drove 20 min there they were completely booked, because ALL of Waterford patients were sent there. So I ended up driving ANOTHER 20 minutes to Kaley St. Seriously? They couldn’t have TOLD me over the PHONE that their machine was down and not to go to Oviedo because they were totally booked?! SO MUCH OF MY TIME, GAS AND TALLS to pay for their carelessness.

If you have a choice to go somewhere else — do your body a favor and do it.

The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful. X-​rays are walk-​in only. I had a 40 minute wait, but this location is always very busy. They offer a variety of medical imaging services. I.E. Ultrasound, X-​Rays and Mammograms.
The 3 stars rating is because of the look and feel of the location. It is in dire need of remodeling. The carpet is dirty, the chairs and décor are very outdated and very well worn. It shows wear and tear badly. The Winter Park location is the exact opposite. At least give your patients a decent waiting room and your employees a nice surrounding to come to work. It’s like the office that the corporate location forgot about.

This place has gone downhill since it changed hands. Receptionists are wearing skin tight jeans, giant hoop earrings and are not the least bit professional in mannerism or tone. They need to remember that first impressions are the lasting ones and my first impression was definately not impressive. Definately would not recommend this place.
