Derick and the staff at Simply Mac are wonderful. I found them through Apple since they’re a certified retailer and are able to get parts the Apple stores can’t always get. Everyone, from the store manager, to the techs, to the customer service people on the floor have been great. They won me over on the first visit, and the level of service has remained high the other two times I’ve been there. They’re incredibly courteous(treat you like a human being vs. a number in a cattle call of people), take their time with you as if you’re the only person in the store, know Apple products inside and out, and run an very professional store with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Great people, great store!

We were in Orlando for a few days when my son’s Mac started acting up. We contacted Apple Support and they walked us through a bunch of diagnostics and system level resets. When none of this work they suggested we head to Simply Mac because all of the local Apple Stores did not have any available times. I tried to call ahead to gain a better understanding as to whether they had any capacity as it was a 1+hour drive from our hotel. I called a few times and tried all of the extensions off of the main menu and got no answer. So I chanced it and drove over. I was greeted promptly by the sales person who asked me what the issue was. The tech guy was busy with the only other customer in the store, a young attractive woman who had just been given a credit amount and was wanting to spend it. The salesman turned on the computer and said that it wasn’t working(really!) and that it would cost $ 69 to perform the diagnostic, which to be honest I really didn’t care about the amount, I just needed it fixed. And then he dropped the bomb shell that it would take 12 – 14 business days. As I was flying out in less than 48 hours, this was a no go. Since I was the only person in the store(at least for service) I asked if I could have the computer looked at immediately. I was told that once the service guy was finished helping the young lady that he would be able to help me. Why the service guy didn’t swap with the salesman, I don’t understand. After waiting twenty minutes of waiting while both gentlemen helped the young lady during her shopping spree, I packed up the computer and left the store. I called Apple Support for some further assistance and discussed that quality of service that I received at one of their preferred suppliers. I then went over to the Apple Store at the Florida Mall. I explained to the person who corrals the people the need access to the Genius’ what was wrong with my computer and was told to go sit at the end of the bar. Five minutes after I arrived Freddy introduced himself, looked at my computer and took it into the back. Five minutes after he disappeared into the back he reappeared with the fully functioning computer. He need to resit the video cable. Five minutes. 12 – 14 business days. You choose.

I went in the other day because my Mac burned up. My daughter had gone in with her phone and received great service and advise. Thanks to their advise they saved her some money. I was not real sure what to expect but boy was I surprised by the great job they did. The girl who helped me took all the time I needed and actually knew more about the Mac Book Pro than the lady at Best Buy from Apple. I had no other questions other than why I waited until now to experience Simply Mac! Thanks guys as a 35 year law enforcement official I find my trust hard to give buy you surely earned my business!!! once you go Simply Mac, you won’t go back!

Late review, this place can be pricey but again, anything to fix apple products is pricey. My boyfriend and I were told it’s going to cost $ 50 just to check what’s wrong with my boyfriend’s Mac 2010 laptop. We asked if there was a possible way to see if the battery or engine exploded for free since we are low budget college students. The laptop would turn on but nothing showed on the screen. Just pitch black. The staff guy was nice to check that part for free. He took it to the back and checked. He also use a flashlight to look around and flash at the screen. He noticed the screen is little bit noticeable with the flash flashing on the screen. He said he can restart the laptop battery and stuff but it’s a risk of losing everything for free. Luckily, my boyfriend didn’t have that many things and already saved them, he said go ahead. After the restart and very slow starting up, the screen started to show up again and everything is fine again! We were thankful for them for being very nice and doing some services for free(which I mentioned above). You can bring your old apple product in here and trade in for a price or discount for used Apple products. You can buy used Mac laptops here. I haven’t try yet. If you need help on simple things and don’t want to drive far, come here!

5 Stars For one of the best experiences I’ve received so far in repairing my apple products. MacBook Pro is my life, it’s the main tool I utilize for work and all my digital blogging. Last night my Hard Drive died. Luckily I found this place which is a certified repair shop by Apple. If you’re worrying like crazy about your apple device & can’t find a trustworthy place. Give these guys a call before you venture out to the apple store Genius bar. You know how that experience will go. Jose Parejo is a true professional, a certified apple genius that knows his stuff from the inside out. I went in, he diagnosed the problem, gave all the recommendations to make a smart decision, and in just a matter of hours my Mac Book Pro was running like a 2016 Mac. Jose installed a Brand new SSD Drive which is the newest technology of hard drives for all Macs. Next time your apple device is in trouble, look no further and give Jose Parejo a Call. Tell him you we’re referenced by Larry Calderon with the review you just read on Unilocal.I’ll guarantee he will treat you VIP. Your Laptop, iPad, iPhone, iMac, or whatever else apple you have will thank you!

Sometimes you just can’t get things fixed in time. This was out issue when my daughter’s school computer had a virus which revealed a bigger problem in our system. We had the Apple Care but we couldn’t be seen at any other Apple stores until the end of next week. I was able to walk in and get an assessment of the computer problem. They also offered some ideas on how to work around it because we’re traveling in a week and repairs take between 5 – 10 days. The staff were very considerate considering I was upset and disappointed it couldn’t be handled more quickly. But they also made me feel like they genuinely cared. I will follow up with their recommendations and will likely come back to use their genius bar in the future.

I had super high hopes of getting my mac fixed. I needed it for business purposes. I had an appointment at the Apple Store: but, I did not want to deal with the long wait. So per Apple they suggested this business as they were«certified». So I canceled my apple store appointment and I called Simply Mac. So I called the day before I went and was told to bring it in — no appointment necessary. I was told it would $ 50 to even look at it — and if I chose to fix it that came off the bill. If not– then they keep it. So the next day I drove to this location. What I was told was super shocking — they actually only have«one certified» technician. They have several employees that have no skill or certification to look at a apple product. So then it appears its more of a store– than a repair facility. What upsets me as a customer — is that their one technician had an emergency and because of this — it was going to be over a week before they could bring in someone to fix. While emergencies happen — as business needs a backup plan. And a week is unreasonable. Who runs a business that is a «certified apple repair facility’ and only has one person who is actually certified and no contingency plan? Unfortunately this facility will never have my business. What struck a nerve with me was the lack of a contingency plan. I try to be reasonable and understanding; but, when you offer a service– you need to actually make sure that you can satisfy demand. Great news though Turns out that my computer had a minor issue. I found another facility in Winter Park who actually had a technician that fixed my computer within 10 min and did not even charge me. I did not have to pay a fee for him to look at it nor was I ever charged for the minor fix.
