Saturday night. Weary travelers wanting a drink and something to munch on in the hotel we were staying in, sat down at the attractive bar. Looked great, but we soon learned it would take the patience of a saint. Now, we can appreciate Bartenders and Servers who are busy and working hard, but in the middle of our long wait to even get a menu or a drink, we had to witness an awfully long phone call that appeared to be personal. Even that wouldn’t have been too bad if she could have multi-tasked and looked at us for a second to maybe hand us a menu. At some point, we did manage to order a drink and order spinach dip. I remember the menu mentioning sherry in it. Well, there wasn’t a hint of sherry that I could detect. It was almost tasteless, and the chips were a bit stale. Overall disappointing, which is a rare thing for us, as we usually find hotel bars to be pretty darn good.

Was pleasantly surprised at the Sixty South inside Double Tree/Hilton Orlando. Needed a quick bite before heading to the airport and this place was perfect. I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap with a side salad($ 13) — Fried chicken wrapped in chipotle flour tortilla with romaine, tomatoes, red onions, pico de gallo, jack cheese and chipotle aioli Wrap was fresh and had some terrific flavors. I did wish the chicken was grilled instead of fried, would have made it a bit more clean /healthy.
