I couldn’t make the opening night so I went the morning after with a friend. I loved the art! There are 3 different rooms which is cool! I love the new space! Very NICE! Clean and Fresh! 2 thumbs up! :) Check it out for yourself! Orlando NEEDS this!

We went to SNAP on opening night. What a crowd! Looks like a great space for artists to display their works. I liked the different rooms & beverage stations near each. Great event. Also good location downtown.

5 Stars for another Snap! gallery that will continue to elevate the art scene in downtown Orlando the way it has raised the bar in Mills50. I got to visit the gallery on its grand opening party and though I was thrilled that it felt like all of Orlando’s creative class was there to support the new art hub, I was more blown away by the space itself. Snap Downtown takes up a large portion of the first floor of the new 420 E Church street building. The lobby of the apartment complex is also the entrance to the gallery. And what an entrance it is. In typical Snap style, the first thing you see is a white wall jutting out in the middle of the space with the words Snap! Downtown on it as well as space for the signature piece in the exhibit. For the opening, it was a Mark Gmehling piece which graced the signature wall(he did the fabulous five-story mural outside the original Snap! Space in Mills50). At the far end is a wood panel wall which gives the space a surprisingly warm feel and distinguishes it from the Snap! Space in Mills50, which has white walls and rough cement accent walls. I’m excited to see what the Kahns have planned for future exhibits and events. Orlando is lucky to have another gallery which prides itself on showcasing the best in the world, which luckily also includes local artists from time to time(like Earl Funk, local graffiti and tattoo artist featured in the opening).
