Starbucks

This Starbucks gets packed with High School and college kids. Baristas are friendly, however sometimes a bit unorganized. On occasions, they forget to keep up with their app orders and the fact that this store gets so packed, doesn’t help. I think more baristas would definitely benefit this store.

First time visiting this Starbucks and for the location that it is in you would think their would be a drive-​through attached. I was a bit disappointed not to see one. The inside of the store is very clean and large with most of the walls consisting of huge windows letting in daylight. I found the space very bright, which I love, but was disappointed in the lack of comfy chairs. Their were only 2 large comfy chairs with the rest of the space occupied with tables and chairs similar to those in dunking donuts or a fast food restaurant. One of my favorite things about Starbucks is the fact that they have the little nooks with the comfy chairs and table where you can curl up and read a book or do some work, but not this place. They did have a little patio with about 6 outdoor tables, which I thought was a nice touch. I will definitely come here again to order coffee since it is near where I live, but will not be here for a comfortable visit to do work.

The worst management– even with the new system with your order — they manage to lose your order, skip your order and even though apologetic– how incompetent do you have to continue to be!!! Today Friday, ¹⁄₂₉ 9:39 AM — should regional manager read this and figure out who was the manager!!! Not a rush hour but what the wait it was… Did I mention incompetent uggghhh

I have a huge concern with a health issue that was not addressed. I am pregnant and very sensitive to caffeine. I did not have coffee my entire pregnancy because I had the fear of getting regular. I told the barista to make sure it is decaf, he replied, «I marked the order as decaf and I marked the cup». I replied back, «I’m pregnant and very sensitive to caffeine can you please tell the person making it to be double sure, its important.» When I got the cup I even asked the ones making to coffee if it was decaf, and they looked at the cup and said, «yes». That should have been the clue that they had to look back at the cup. I took the risk of ordering a decaf because it wasn’t even busy on a Tuesday evening. I did not sleep all night and I still have the jitters and I’m writing this review at 7:30 am with lack of sleep. I will fight my cravings and not have a coffee until my baby is born due to this. Maybe its my crazy hormones talking, but baristas need to take decaf as serious as an allergic reaction.

I have been to this Starbucks many times and overall my experiences have been positive.
My ONLY complaint is that they do not have a drive thru at this location.
You normally see a novel when I post but I just pop in for a quad shot venti caramel macchiato on my way to see my granddaughter play soccer and they have NEVER messed up my order. I have come here a couple times to have some coffee and work when I wanted to get out of the office.

Great relaxing atmosphere to meet up with friends. For a really refreshing, not too sweet drink, order the shaken passion iced tea ½ sweet. Really refreshing and delicious! I usually order with extra ice.

I visited this Starbucks location in Avalon with my friend and her newly born daughter to get them out of the house for a bit.
This location is so spacious in comparison to some other Starbucks in the area, I absolutely love the open feel and ALL the windows letting sunlight in. I didn’t feel like I was in a cave!
The staff was friendly and chatted with my friend about her daughter. We sat at a table and enjoyed our beverages and bakery items (all correct as ordered).
Random note: I very much like that Starbucks always seems to spell my name correctly — pet peeve is when anyone throws the «H» in there!
Other note: I was supposed to receive 4 bonus stars for my coffee cake that haven’t been added to my account yet!

I would have given this 5 stars if all the baristas are the same, all are just civil, not really friendly and some don’t really know what they’re doing but there is one barista there that makes up for everybody else. I don’t know his name but it definitely isn’t Ivan. He takes forever to make drinks because he continues to chat with people sitting by the bar every single time I was there even when they are very busy. All I know is that he has a beard and he’s a regular barista there. He’s not overly friendly but he’s knowledgeable and makes up with great customer service. If there’s something wrong with a drink, he makes a new one and upsizes it. One time, their system was so slow and was taking forever so he just gave the drink for free. We’ve had about 4 instances that he went out of his way to give awesome customer service. All others will just say no or have me figure it out myself until I prove them otherwise.
One thing, though. If you don’t like high school kids, don’t go there between 2 – 5 because that’s when HS kids hang out there.

They tend to get my order correct the first time (yay!). The facility is clean with plenty of seating options (outdoor and indoor, small 2-​person café tables, 4-​person tables, bar seating, plus couch/​chairs, and bench). There are plenty of electrical outlets for those of us electronic users.
For Business Folks or People Interviewing for a Job: If you need to conduct telephonic business or participate in teleconferences during the core business hours (Monday-​Friday 9 AM to 2 PM), the music is pretty loud so you may want to take that call outside or in your car.
Lastly, if your don’t like you’re beverage, have the barista to remake it for you. So taste your beverage before you leave.

THIS IS THE SLOWEST EFFFING STARBUCKS IN THE COUNTRY!!! Maybe if they actually drank some of the coffee they were selling they might be able to pick up the pace. The employees have no personality and not a single word is spoken other than to utter the drink or name of the next weary patron. Fail!

I can never complain about the friendliness of the staff but hot damn if this isn’t the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever stepped foot into. I don’t make a habit of walking in a store and leaving because the line is too long but it has happened here… twice. Everything about this location is typical otherwise, drinks are always good and the atmosphere is very «Starbucks» like.

No matter how many people are working they always take forever to make a drink. normally it is made right but either they are short staffed or just very slow at what they do. Staff is normally friendly but actually I normally will drive out of my way to go to a different location

Granted this is the largest SB in a 10 mile radius it has to be the worst one the chain owns. The staff are rude and don’t know how to do their simple job they are tasked with; making coffee. One older staff lady is the worst, not only rude but incapable of completing an order properly.

Good size neighborhood Starbucks. Located in the corner of a neighborhood walmart in Avalon park. Never gets really crazy busy like the one at Waterford lakes. Great place to stop by and grab a frap or a latte while you’re studying bc it’s fairly quiet. Service is fast and friendly. If only this Starbucks had a drive thru and one of those new clover machines but I can’t be too greedy =P

A pretty typical Starbucks as far as atmosphere, beverages, etc.
I try to keep my visits here to the earlier morning hours in attempt to avoid «the rush» (or a wait… depending on how you see it). It is hit or miss as to whether I’m first/​next in line or have a wait (the longest was just under 15 min). Either way, the employees are generally friendly and I haven’t received an incorrect order yet. The times that I’ve been here it has been fairly quite so it may be a good place to get work done or study — but again, I usually go before 10 am. Only 3 stars because they don’t have wifi (or maybe it wasn’t turned on the few times I tried looking for it) and because there isn’t a 3.5 star.

One of the better Starbucks in the Orlando area. Always seems to be a service with a smile and willingness to please from the local baristas. The restaurant is always clean and spacious. Great place for meetings, studying and just to plain relax.

If you’re trying to find a great place to study, have a meeting or just grab a delicious drink and run; give this Starbucks a shot.
The employees are super nice and relatable. They always are looking to make the customers happy. The only thing that I have noticed that could improve is when they are really busy, there are only like three employees. That makes it kind of slow and you may have to wait a little bit to get your drink. But that occurs very seldom. So it’s no where near a reason to snag a star. Just be aware.
The environment is awesome! The drinks always come out great. It is definitely clean.
Don’t be afraid to ask the cashier for a recommendation; I do that every time and so far I have yet to not absolutely love their choice! Go and get addicted to caffeine!

I really like having a Starbucks in my neighborhood although I don’t come as often as I would like. I came in today to just get away from the crazy holiday bustle. I was greeted warmly by the employees and ordered immediately. I had a caramel apple spiced latte. It was made perfectly. I decided to sit outside because many of the tables were full inside.
Today was the best day to sit outside. Wonderful breeze with partly cloudy skies.
My only complaint is regarding the lack of cleanliness in the outdoor area. The outdoor trash can looks like it hasn’t been emptied for days as it was overflowing. One of the tables had dirty dishes that someone didn’t bring back inside. The outdoors area definitely needs some TLC but other than that it was a good visit.

I’ve never really understood the hatred of Starbucks — but I also don’t ever drink any of their special crazy drinks, so I never pay more than about $ 2 for a coffee or tea.
If you hate Starbucks, you’ll probably hate this place since, well — it’s Starbucks.
If you’re a fan of Starbucks, or at least neutral to them — this is one of the better locations we’ve been to.
The staff here is super friendly. They recognize us every time and some of them even have my wife’s order memorized. If they mess it up, they fix it with no questions asked and no attitude given — but that’s a very rare occurrence to begin with.
The line can back up on occasion, but it’s never because the baristas are slacking off.
Seating here is plentiful and comfortable if you want to sit and enjoy your drinks.
As mentioned in another review, this location used to close very early for a Starbucks — but that is no longer the case. Sunday through Thursdays, they close at 9pm and 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
