Stonewall Bar

*Only two-​story gay club in Orlando
For Parramore, Stonewall is now the nicest establishment on that side of town. They added an open-​air second floor which is also accessible via elevator. On the outside, LED lights illuminate so you can’t miss it! I’m glad they put some money into a once run-​down bar/​club. This has the possibility to be another successful LGBT establishment in Orlando.

All I can say about Stonewall is wow! New Sky Bar on the 2^nd floor has been well worth the wait. Since the new year, the owners have been busy upgrading the downstairs to match. New sound system and stage in the main bar plus new lighting, sound, and pool table on the patio. Now they’ve opened the kitchen again so no reason to rush off after happy hour. They really do care about you at Stonewall. I love what I’m seeing here and hope they continue on this path.

It’s a great place to hang out. There’s something for everyone. Three bars to choose from: indoors, patio bar, and Skybar. All a good time

Visiting from out of town and had the chance to do some bar hopping. The boyfriend and I arrived around 4:30 on a Friday and were surprised at how slow the place was. This soon changed. The bar began to pick up and the bartender was awesome. We sat upstairs at the Sky Bar. It’s very clean and very spacious. The drinks were great and so was the 2 – 1 drink special. The bartender didn’t just stand behind the bar, he moved around the entire second floor making sure everyone was satisfied and was very friendly and entertaining. We will definitely be back on Saturday.

I want to give Stonewall 5 stars as it has vastly improved its appearance, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, the drink specials are some of the best around, and now with the upstairs open it’s a very comfortable place to hang out. However, they employ an older man (Terry) who is always there, lurking around, looking sad, and staring at the customers. He insists each patron pay individually. Apparently, tabs and groups are not welcome here? BIZARRE. Fix this problem and Stonewall will definitely give you a 5 star visit. :)

Not much for a straight man to look at here. Good specials with the 2 for 1, still not 100% sure when exactly that special is on but I always seem to get it.

Would be better if they finished construction.

They are currently under renovation but the rendering of the finished building looks fantastic. There is an outside bar and sitting area and inside they have a DJ playing music… even during renos:)

I had heard rumors and mixed reviews about Stonewall and recently decided to try it for myself (been a few times since now). Ok– the building, location or décor won’t wow you. The service however will! A very friendly staff here– think Cheers neighborhood kinda bar– very low key and casual. I’m typically not a big fans of gay bars and choose to frequent more of a mixed bar-​but every time I’ve come here I’ve had such a fun time I’m becoming a fan. Thursday nights are fun, country music on the outside patio bar which I love (country music in a gay bar! Yes!) it’s also «underwear» night if you’re feeling free and they give you a special on drinks if you choose to also. I’ll def be coming here again! One last perk– they have an IPA they sell! This is epic for a gay bar — trust me!

A gay bar that I personally do not frequent. Even though they dont say they cater to a certain crowd, they obviously do. The staff is always =friendly and some of the patrons overly friendly, even when polietly declined. Drinks are pretty good. I can live with the go-​go dancers, but not a huge fan. The «private dancer» area and the nude shadow box (where the dancers try their, um, hardest, to show off) just creep me out. They feel a little too dirty old man, low brow to me, but some people LOVE that stuff, just not my thing. I can understand their $ 7 cover on the weekend given the neighborhood. It helps to keep out wanderers, but not sure I agree with it. When I’m meeting people and all I want is a beer, its a little steep.

What a fun and welcoming bar this was. Friends were visiting from out of town and asked to meet here. I got there a bit early and got my drink on and then relaxed on some of the fun retro furniture in the main bar area. It was nice to ‘man watch’ while waiting for my friends to arrive.
The bartenders were very nice and super friendly. The prices were good. I can’t tell you if the mixed drinks were okay since I drank beer most of the night… I will have to test it out next time!
The décor is very basic. I felt like I was in someones garage but I was not there for the décor… I was there to enjoy good conversation with my friends. If you want fancy people, atmosphere, and drinks, this is not the place… But if you want to feel welcome by everybody and have a fun time, this is a great local bar to hang out in Orlando.
They did have some young ‘go go boys’ the night i was there. Always nice to view some nice bodies… ;-) I did like that they had an outside bar area but since it was a bit cold, it was hard to stay outside too long but I do give credit to the bartender that was working outside in just his underwear…
It was a good location and I felt safe. Parking was okay and the street was well lit.
