Me and my fiancé came in happy and left kinda muted.
The woman at the counter was not having any of our laughing nonsense or happiness. She spoke monotonously, robot-​like, and barely made eye-​contact. Wasn’t sure who she was even talking to a few times as she muttered to the sandwich.
She cut the sammies haphazardly and was super stingy on the toppings except the lettuce which was specifically requested ‘light’. Nope, robot only does maximum handfuls.
When we got to the register our feet started sticking to the floor. There must have been an inch of thick syrup in front of the drink fountain and the whole walk home I was sticking to the pavement. Had to wash my shoes after we ate.
The place is pretty small and the only thing out of the ordinary/​interesting is the drive-​through.
