Worst bar ever I won’t go back. I ordered one drink and gave them my card to close and give me a check. And somehow between me and the cash register the bartender was so wasted he lost my card. And then didn’t care to find it. They were too drunk so they did not give two shits. My boyfriend yelled at them to find it but instead the bartender tried to pick a fight with my boyfriend who just asked him to find it. I eventually grabbed a sober bar-back and explained and he found the card because he was sober enough to read. And then bartender before that one was to drunk to stand and was grabbing people’s faces. Don’t drink at work especially when your handling people’s credit cards… Ruined my night just because you have to drink on your job.

Ehhh… an «ok place» to hang out downtown. Music was good… but they’re so many great places downtown, I feel this place is not worth it. I guess that if you feel like dancing, it’s not a bad place to have fun with friends. But if you just want to chill… The Hen House, The Woods, NV Bar(also known as Bauhaus), The treehouse… tone of other awesome places.

I came here to have a drink, did not get acknowledged, I give it one star ! I give it one star because they ignored me. I’m a us navy veteran. The way they treated me was like a 3rd class citizen and when I left I was disrespected too!

Do not even think about walking in to this establishment of you are not 22 ½. Not there is anything wrong with being with that young but… Yikes. It was like two frat parties exploded on each other. The scent of fresh bleach was quite overwhelming although I’d rather that than the fresh scent of vomit that likely preceded the bleach. We never actually got to the bar to get a drink so I can’t review the actual thing we went for but I don’t think even the most amazing of vodkas would make this more than a 2 star stop.

Hands down the best celery sticks in Orlando! So crunchy! So refreshing! So celery-ey! When paired with their unbelievably creamy and delicious Ranch sauce, it rivals an entrée dish from Victoria and Alberts. Should you ever find yourself in Orlando and craving celery sticks, definitely stop here!

It was a weekday night, there were about 25 people in here on the night we decided to visit this place, drinks were ok, nothing special. Their selection of tequila is very limited, they also ran out of wild turkey, and all 3 of the bartenders were to busy posing for the ladies, instead of pouring the Fu@king drinks!

I hesitated to go in here, as I had a bad experience when there was a supposedly separate business operating in the restaurant half of this downtown dive that I did not care for. Upon realizing that The Basement was now unquestionably operating their own kitchen, I stopped in here for lunch one afternoon while downtown. and was impressed by the food. Nothing overly gourmet, but bar food done very well! The pretzel bites were especially warm and delicious with great cheese dip. Would definitely grab again for a quick fix.

Had a great experience on a Wednesday night just before Halloween. There was an event going on with The Sip and there was a Halloween contest before trivia night. Great time, good food and great drink prices.

I wanted to like you but it smells funny and the floors were sticky. The bartenders could use some more knowledge on drink making and what beers they have. I will say the prices are good and if you are a few drinks in you probably wont notice the things I mentioned.

Being from Miami, I was SHOCKED to see drinks being so inexpensive here. $ 3 shots, $ 6 solo cups of alcohol… I mean, that’s pretty awesome. Music was also on point. My friends and I had fun here. I felt like I was in college. :)

This review is on my initial visit, which was a simple«hmm, what is this place… might as well grab a drink» as I strolled through downtown on a Saturday afternoon. The place was slow due to it being mid afternoon, but there was a jolly crowd huddled up to the bar. The specials at this time were pretty decent with offers of $ 2 coors lights and a shot special of some kind. It was connected to Chi Phi, which seems like they had some decent fare from what I could tell of the items being brought to the fellow afternoon boozers. There was plenty of open space, so I can only imagine how packed this place can get on a good football weekend! Overall, I had no complaints on this place and will swing in when downtown wandering the streets on a «funday».

Visited this place before going to EDC Orlando. It was 5 of us. We were the only ones in there but it was also 3:00. Went there to pregame and have a few casual cocktails before raging big time. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. No complaints. I wish I could have been there on a sports night cuz I know this place would pop off!

We went on a Sunday afternoon to watch some NFL games. The place looks nice. The service wasnt too good. A lot of confusion on orders. The wings were average. Their nachos were pretty good though. Not a bad experience, but not a good one either.

What fun! Located next-door to Chi Phi, an internal doorway allows you pass between both businesses with ease. At night they close the entrance to Chi Phi entirely and card you as you walk into The Basement. They lured me in with promises of $ 3 shots of anything. They are not kidding. Anything you see in stock they will pour into a shotglass and serve it to you at any time of night. They also have a decent happy hour. The staff is energized and optimistic. It has a good vibe. While not too busy at 5:30pm on a Friday, the place quickly fills up later on. The live music(single guy with a guitar) is good and entertaining but it can get very loud. Don’t expect to have any in depth discussions about Syria at this point. I’m particularly fond of the artwork. Everything has a prohibition theme. Very cute. The bathrooms are a solid 4 out of 5 stars for cleanliness and cuteness(it’s hard to compete with Noodles & Rice).
