The Flying Pizza Company

This place is very disappointing. We tried it since it is one of the few pizza places east of 408… and it’s not one of the «usual suspects» like Pizza Hut, etc.
We ordered pizza and wings. Prices are average. The pizza is simply «ok» but I distinctively remember how chewy and tough the crust was (not a good thing). This pizza also turns rock-​hard in the fridge, which is not good because I sometimes enjoy cold-​pizza leftovers. Don’t act like you’ve never tried it!
Flying Pizza is probably OK if you must have a pizza delivered and you are out of Papa’s range.
Personally, I’d rather order from Mellow Mushroom and make the drive to go pick it up. In fact, we’ve done this several times. Sorry!
Haven’t been back and probably won’t ever go back to Flying Pizza.

Great ambience. Butcher block paper and crayons on the tables for the creative (or childlike) minded… The place is adorned with both military and airline stickers, models, and pictures. A nice little collection. I had the Flying Supreme pizza… (see pic). Now, like most Americanos, I’ve had my share of pizza over the decades (Never you mind how many decades, thank you). And, this pizza STANDS OUT. The crust? Thin, and just right. Really tasted fresh and home made. I’d like it a little more sour dough-​y, but this was really really good. SO was the sauce. So, Yeah, i’d recommend it. It’s maybe not the best place for a date, unless you both are enrolled in pilot lessons, I suppose. To me, and it’s just to me, The delightful environment will appeal to a gearhead male more than other people, and yes, I’m a gearhead male, so I loved it. Recommend…

Wow, there seems to be a lot of drama over the flying pizza company.
We’ve ordered from here a number of times, and have been pretty satisfied with them every time. The pizzas are large and tasty and close enough to NY style pizza to satisfy me for the most part.
We’ve only ordered delivery, so I can’t speak on the smell of the restaurant or the friendliness of the manager except to say that everyone I’ve dealt with on the phone or at my door has been pleasant enough.
You can find better pizza in the area, but flying pizza company is a decent choice.

Very friendly service! Their pizza is amazing and they always have great specials. It’s way better quality pizza than any chain place and the prices are around the same if not cheaper. We order every Tuesday when they have a $ 10 large cheese pizza and 2 for 1 bottled beer.
