As a rule, I’m not into chocolates but I DO enjoy trying new things. As a romantic gesture, my husband(with our son’s input) hand-picked 9 unique chocolates for me, surprising me with them after we returned to our resort. I AMINLOVE… with my husband, of course, and now these chocolates! Not only are the flavors unique, the ganache is SOMUCHBETTER than nougat, buttercream, etc as a filling — The flavors are more prominent, for one thing, and these chocolates aren’t as sickeningly rich as chocolates with other fillings. And I, particularly, love the ones in which you taste just a hint of salt, something I would never have believed before tasting it. I can’t wait until our next trip to Disney Springs!

There is some very unique flavors offered here if you pick your own truffle. Some were good, and some didn’t fit to my liking. One in particular was the Mango/Curry chocolate. I think the curry flavor is still a bit strong and you can hardly taste the mango. The hazelnut one was delicious. I find it hard to mess up that flavor, it would be a shame to do so. These chocolates are a bit on the pricey side, but might be worth to try just once to explore the different flavors that they offer. It is quite small, and can easily get packed with onlookers wanting to view how the chocolates get made.

We loved the Ganachery! Although it is a little pricey for something you can’t taste before you buy, the pre-wrapped chocolate bars were absolutely delicious. We tried the white chocolate with pineapple and coconut, and the dark chocolate bar with pop candy. I’m not a huge fan of coconut, but the white chocolate was perfectly balanced; giving you the feeling of being on a tropical beach somewhere with the smell of coconut and pineapple in the air. The dark chocolate with pop candy was delicious as well, I would classify it as a high class Crunch bar. As for the fresh chocolates, we tried the caramel, dark chocolate, and coffee. Coffee was alright, dark chocolate was very rich yet enjoyable, but the caramel one was unbelievable. The caramel melts in your mouth and the chocolate is amazing. If you go there and only try one thing, I would say it has to be the caramel. Overall, it seems you can’t go wrong!

The Ganachery is a new, fancy, pricy chocolate boutique located at Disney Springs right across from a restaurant called Paradiso 37. The small chocolates in their main glass display are hand crafted and you can see for yourself with the window view of their kitchen. There are 16 different flavors to choose from. Each piece is like a work of art that’s too pretty to eat! Unfortunately there are no samples for these, but if you get lucky like we did, we sampled pieces of both their dark and milk chocolate being handed out. We did purchase 3 and enjoyed the few bites we had! I do recommend the dark chocolate matcha for any matcha lovers. Throughout the store are various chocolate bars, pops, and crispy pearls. The bars and pops have cute Disney themes, flavors and décor to make them a perfect Disney World souvenir for the chocolate lover in your life! As most reviews say, these chocolates aren’t the cheapest! The small squares in the display case are $ 3 each, which you can get a box for a somewhat better deal. The chocolate bars(which I learned aren’t made in store), pops, and crispy chocolate pearls go for about $ 5 each.

A fancy chocolate shop at Disney comes with the fancy price tag. About $ 3 per single truffle to be exact. While I do not think the price is outrageous overall I think the shop is a tad high end for your average vacationing family. This shop is also next to the shave shop which is equally high end and pricey. On my visit I had the dark chocolate with raspberry truffle. While good, it is not something I’d intentionally seek out. I’d rather walk to the other end of Disney Springs for one for one of the two other candy shops. What I did like is the window on the left of the entrance that looks into the kitchen area where the chocolates are being made. This is funny for a kid or kid at hear of any age. So take a peek in the store but skip the expensive chocolate maybe.

Best part about this shop are the Disney themed chocolate bars and pops. There are character themed chocolate bars for $ 8 each(they each have their own quirky flavor such as dried strawberries for Minnie and pop rocks for Goofy) and Mickey chocolate pops filled with strawberry ganache for $ 5 each. I got a box of six truffles for about $ 15 which, of course, is pricey, but they’re fancy chocolates with fancy embellishments on them. Now, since this shop is called the«ganachery,» I expected the chocolates to be filled with ganache, but the shell of the chocolates was actually very soft, so I did miss the«snap» of the chocolate shell one usually gets from high quality chocolatiers. The flavors I tried were the calamansi(described as a Vietnamese orange, but I usually hear of them being used in Filipino cuisine), caramel fleur de sel, mango curry, matcha yuzu, passion fruit, and gianduja(hazelnut). The flavors were all really spot on. I especially appreciated that the calamansi actually tasted like calamansi and not oranges. My favorite of the bunch was the matcha yuzu, but the chocolates in general aren’t that memorable. Would I come back? Well, I’m from California so probably not. But if I do ever find myself vacationing in Orlando again and stop by Disney Springs, I may pick up a Disney themed chocolate pop.

Beautifully handmade chocolates that taste just as good as they look. I am a Godiva snob and these are better!

The first night the line to get in was two store fronts long and I thought it’s not worth it. Boy was I wrong. I came back later and no line but they were closed. So I returned the next night and stood in line. The anticipation is worth every anxiety filled moment. It is an incredible experience and the chocolate is phenomenal. While in line I visited with a fellow whom had been there the night before. He spoke very little English but he charaded with me until he got the message of get the pistachio. When you walk in the aroma succumbs you. It’s wafting but not overbearing. The chocolate is like fine art and the chocolatiers take great pride in their work. They talked to me in great lengths about how they created the chocolates. I bought one of each of the flavored pieces. The only one I did not try was chipotle. No worries, I returned the next night for repeats and chipotle. Beware — it’s expensive and addictive.

Reality check, these small things cost 3 dollars each. I dont mind pricing as long as they match up with the *quality*– underline it, italicize it. The cocoa levels of these pricey itty bits are way too low. The chocolate shells taste of Hershey bar quality. Fillings were also unconvincing. Ingredients taste powdered. Packaging was very good and they do well with presentation, but chocolate themselves lack substance. The verdict: very bougie and tastes of poverty.

This place was fantastic. It went above my expectations. I visited just the other day and purchased a box of 6 in a variety of flavors. I picked mango curry, chipotle pepper, vanilla, pistachio, orange, and gianduja. The only one I didn’t care for was chipotle pepper. I feel like it lacked flavor and wasn’t worth the $ 3 price. My personal chocolatier Santos made my visit even better with his wonderful attitude and personality. I highly suggest interacting with him if you get the chance. I asked him to recommend two chocolates for me as I could not decide and he recommended the gianduja and vanilla. The gianduja was by far my favorite so it was a very good recommendation. Next time you’re in Disney Springs I recommend stopping by for a visit.

The Ganachery just opened at Disney Springs on December 15. It’s a tiny space. When I went on Sunday December 20 around noon, they were limiting the number of guests in the shop at a time. They let 5 of us in and directed us to stand in front of the window to the open kitchen where two cast members were putting the finishing touches on some house-made ganaches. A different cast member gave us a short spiel about the shop and the different products. There’s not a wide selection, but what they do have is pretty interesting and unique. The highlight is the chocolate counter where they have 16 different ganaches on display. You can purchase by the piece, or in little boxes of 6, 9 or 12. One piece is $ 3 and a box of 6 is $ 15. I got one mango curry and one matcha yuzu. The flavors of the mango curry seemed muted. There was a hint of mango to start with and then a slight curry aftertaste. I would have liked a stronger flavor profile. Of the two ganaches I preferred the matcha yuzu because the matcha stood out more strongly and overall it had a more interesting taste. I’m looking forward to trying more of the different flavors.

Very cute little place! Delicious chocolate. The dark was very tasty, and has a wonderful filling. No samples. Lol. $ 3 each for the chocolates, and several other cute items for sale in the store. The Goofy bar has Pop Rocks in it. The girl at the register recommended the Chipotle Pepper. Saving that one for a Christmas present, so can’t tell you how it was. The crispy chocolate pearls are very cute, and make good presents. The chocolate enrobed stollen also made for a great gift.
