Some friends and I have been prolonging a tea party. We usually try to go to Disney’s tea, but could not get a reservation so decided to give the lemon lily a try. It was a little bit of a drive for us from Claremount and Celebration, but well worth it. You have a feel like you are visiting your sweet grandma’s for tea. There is antique furniture, and lots of cute mix match china. The wall of tea pots is really neat to look at. We each liked seeing what tea pot each of us got. We opted for the lemon lily, and it was plenty of food! We got a pot of tea each, scones and fruit, soup, tea sandwiches, and dessert. The soup was a choice between baked potato or tomato soup. The scones were not your typical scones. Our favorite was the lemon scone. We really liked the lily cream served with them. Our favorite were the individual baked desserts. I wish I wasn’t so full so I could finish them. Our server was so sweet. She was very personable, and helped with tea and food selections. She held several conversations with us, and truly made sure we had an excellent visit.

This tea room is so sweet! From the outside it might not look like a formal tea room but inside it is. I love all the different types of tea and tea sets available. My daughter and I had lunch and it was divine! Even my 10 year old loved the tea sandwiches! Everything was delicious but the best part was the sweet and kind owner. I believe her name was Micah. She took so much time to talk with us and make sure we had everything we needed. She took extra time to speak with my daughter and made her feel like a princess. We will be back soon! PS The dessert is the best!

I usually go to another tea room further away but I decided to try a local one this time around. The service was wonderful! They kept coming around, making sure my party was ok. We had the shepards’s pie and then the deserts were lemon pie and peach cobbler which were both delicious! This little tea shop is perfect for a girls day out or even cute enough for a baby shower/party. I would definitely recommend this local tea room to anyone visiting Oviedo!

They had a cute idea, but the execution needs pretty major improvement. The space is nice, if you like lots of tiny teapots and teacups and mismatched tea paraphernalia. My friend chose it and I can see the appeal. But the service was soooooo slow. I get that it is a leisurely, laid-back place, but things could have moved along a little faster. It took 15 minutes to get honey for my pot of tea, for example. While they have an extensive tea selection, the menu is veeerry limited. We were there at 11, and breakfast was no longer served, so our only option was grilled cheese and tomato soup. Ok, that could be delicious. But it was the type of grilled cheese sandwich my 11-year niece could have made with her eyes closed– just basic bread and American cheese. Not even an interesting cheese choice. The tomato soup seemed to be homemade, which I’m discerning because it was oily and full of chopped onions, which was ok but not great. My friend was looking forward to the pastry selection advertised on the menu, but there wasn’t really one. The options weren’t really pastries – mini pecan pies, pound cake, etc. We share a piece of pound cake. It was so dry and flavorless that I only ate one bite. It’s a little odd that a place that advertises itself as a bakery isn’t actually doing any baking. My expectations were low, so I wasn’t particularly upset. But my friend had really been looking forward to it and was very disappointed.

Quaint tea house with exceptional offerings and a very relaxing environment. Extensive tea list, multiple bakery offerings, wonderful tea sandwiches and home made soups. They have extensive gluten free options as well! Notice is required, but so nice for my gluten intolerant wife to be able to enjoy this stuff.

I’m writing this review based solely on our interactions with customer service. We stopped in around 1 pm on Thursday and despite the bell on the door and our chattering, the waitress refused to look at us, let alone speak. A few minutes later another woman emerged from the back and said they were totally booked, despite several unoccupied tables. She could not accommodate us even though my mom came over from Ormond Beach to try it. Not a single table between 1 and 4pm? On a Thursday? Not that she looked at any register or appointment book to check. Tell people in advance on your website etc. that reservations are required — not just recommended. I can’t imagine how you’d ever get a table on a weekend if you can’t get open tables on a Thursday…

I am updating my review because I had the pleasure of ordering a bakery item from Lemon Lily and my expectations were completely surpassed!!! My husband and I just recently celebrated our one year anniversary and unfortunately no longer had our top tier of our wedding cake to cut into anymore(let’s be honest… we ate it after a month! haha) and my original baker was charging $ 50 to make a new one… which is absurd! I called Lemon Lily and Mica(one of the owners) helped me out to make a new cake. She was so thoughtful and helpful and the price was unbelievable. And let me tell you this cake was DELICIOUS!!! I mean it was absolutely one of the best cakes I have ever made in my life and it was custom made just for us… she even went out and bought raspberries to go on it. The customer service from these two ladies is unbelievable. Thank you so much for making me feel so special and for not breaking the bank ;)

This adorable tearoom is a perfect addition to central Florida! The food is delicious and inventive. Tomato soup was fresh and perfectly complemented by the bacon on top. The sandwich options were unique and included mini quiche and, which was a nice change. Just when I thought I couldn’t eat another thing, the desserts were superb. Perfect homemade cobbler. Scones were light and delicious. Their homemade«cream» is unlike anything I’ve had, but so yummy! Teas are also fantastic– lots of variety and wonderful flavor!

Recently visited the Lemon Lily Tea Room for a lunch with my Ladies group. We received excellent attention and the service is very friendly. The atmosphere is also quite pleasant, relaxing and clean and it’s a place where you just want to stay and linger and chat with friends. Their tea selection is pretty good, ranging from black teas to green, to white to caffeine-free herbals, and I enjoyed a light white tea. The food, however, was a bit disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t something I’d rave about. The variety of selection on our sandwich trays was ok, and you get a good amount for the price, but I only nibbled. If they can up the quality of the food just a bit, they could definitely be worth of a 5-star review.

Nice tea room. My friends and I stopped in for afternoon tea. They have a nice selection of potted teas at a reasonable price. Their bakery and confectionary selections are«homemade.» The bakery selection is very limited; however, the items we tasted were very nice. They currently do not offer an «Afternoon Tea» per se. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. The China is mismatched as many tea rooms are wont to do these days. The service was pleasant. We were actually served properly(individually) as opposed to a server reaching across the table which is a definite plus. I will return again. Maybe their menu will expand in the future. Give them visit. I think you will enjoy it.

A mother and daughter had a dream of The Lemon Lily Tea Room, and it certainly came true in a very special way. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised anymore when I discover these treasures in random shopping centers, because our suburban landscape is just chock full of them now. The Lemon Lily Tea Room & Bakery is adjacent to The Home Depot and One Blood Donor Center in the Crossroads Shopping Center in Oviedo. When you enter this bright, clean, adorable Southern tea room take a deep breath and enjoy the plethora of savory and sweet scents wafting about from the rear kitchen. It is comfortable and casual in here. The service here is incredibly warm and attentive. It is obvious your hosts are proud and excited to share their dream with you. I jumped all over the menu. I had two different pots of tea today and both were memorable, smooth… just fantastic. There is a wide selection of teas ranging from traditional Earl Grey’s to Chocolate Mint Truffle to Orange Dulce… all the Greens, Blacks, Fruits, Herbals, Whites, Caffeine or sans Caffeine. I enjoyed warm fresh biscuit bites with homemade raspberry jam, a delicate perfect lemon scone, followed by a small sandwich tray featuring three bites each of delicious tastes such as egg salad, chicken salad croissant, turkey spinach, pastrami and cheese, pimento cheese, and mini quiches. Each tiny sandwich was on different breads and was just perfection. Soups, and all kinds of pastries, apple dumplings, cobblers, and ice creams are available too. Anxious to try the tomato bacon soup next time. The menu is expanding to include waffles, pancakes, and more. The bakery portion of the tearoom offers cakes, scones, cupcakes, muffins, pies, and more to go or by special order, There are gluten free options as well. The food quality is high and the prices are great. Like a lily, this tearoom opens slowly and quietly in the early morning. First thing in the morning, it is a wonderful place for quiet reflection. Then about 10:30, other patrons start filling the place up and it is going strong until closing. Reservations are recommended if you are coming in later in the morning or have a group or event in mind. Parking is easy. They are closed on Sunday’s.

This place is adorable and amazing! The décor is eclectic and very bright/cheery. We hosted a ladies meeting here and the service was spectacular. The food and tea both tasted phenomenal. You really do feel like you’re getting pampered here. They even have individual bottles of scope in the bathroom! Treat yourself to a lovey afternoon tea here, you won’t regret it!

Stopped by this new establishment for some afternoon tea & pastries with my five year old daughter today. The owners were super friendly and the tea was delish! We also had a lemon lily cupcake & shortbread cookie which were both amazing! We bought some Oreo balls to take home & we can’t wait to try them! We’ll be going back again this weekend! :)
