Thomas Laundromat

OMG! Super service. From out of town, needed to do some cleaning and lady on staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. She knew I looked confused and offered help without me asking. This is cleanest Laundromat I have ever seen. Plus there were plenty of cloths carts and folding tables. A little bit of a drive from Disney area but worth it.

It’s very sad to see this place going down. I always wonder why the staff kept leaving this place and today I realized why. The owner is a slick person. Very bad customer service! My wife and I always use to drop our clothes but today we went to drop it off and 1 the owner did not want to separate the cloths cause it cost more for him. 2 every bag we put on the weight he wanted to charge a dollar more cause we wanted our clothes separated, despite what the weight was showing… If your not careful he will rob you in your face! Also we have notice that the washer machines cost a bit more and ends quicker. Eyes open people every quarter counts.

Clean, helpful attendant, not too scary of an area, although I don’t know if I’d come at night.
NICE washers and dryers… not a mom and pop at all… Electrolux high speed washers and matching dryers… what I thought was going to be a long laundry afternoon, turned out to be a 25 min. Wash and a 40 minute dry!
Not near my hotel, but not too bad of a drive away… nice bakery next door to grab an empanada if you’re hungry!

Clean environment well maintained equipment and FAST!
They also have wash and fold service available if you don’t want to wait with your laundry.

this is a continuation of a prior review now that I’m using the washing machines this visit. Washing machines cost $ 2, 3, 4.50, 6, or 8 dollars. $ 6 machine takes 29 minutes to complete the wash. there is one flat screen available.

In town on Biz and staying at a 4 star Westin — I laugh at myself sometimes about things on which I will splurge and things on which I become a cheapskate. My inner cheapskate surfaces when i conceptualize my 4 start hotel charging 3 bucks to wash each pair of my boxer briefs, undershirts and smelly workout clothes making a load of laundry from the week cost me around 60 bucks… Na baby na… Hence my search for a good old school laundromat.
I was pleasantly surprised by this gig… «Thomas Laundromat». Located down on south OBT, it’s surrounded by the typical seedy joints but it could be much worse as there are much worse areas of this city. The staff here is super friendly and the folks doing laundry are hard working people getting their laundry done and taking life day by day. Same as everyone else.
Therefore, if you are in need of a coin operated laundromat that is super clean with a really nice staff and has quality machines that won’t break the bank — Thomas Laundromat is your next stop!

This is the place to get rid of the funk. Its clean and spacious with the CNN showing on TV.
Automatic door makes easy entry and exit with your belongings.
Plenty of elextrolux washers and dryers in good working condition. For washing, price ranges from $ 3 – 6.50 per load depending on washer size.
Not sure of dryer charges.
Currently the change machine is not in service, but that is fine because the attendant on duty will make change for you.
Comfy seats for sitting while you wait.
