Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control

Amazing customer service. I have had a German Roach infestation and a wasp problem that they diligently took care of. I bought an older house with an added on porch. The porch was not constructed correctly, leaving me with a palmetto roach problem from all the rotting wood. They gladly come out and spray when I start seeing them or any bugs at all. It’s always the same man spraying my house and he is very kind. Scheduling appointments or talking to anyone on the phone is always a pleasant experience. Truly Nolen is the best service out there for dealing with creepy crawlys.

I had a terrible fly problem in my house that I couldn’t solve. I thought they were fruit flies, so I put all my produce in the fridge and put out vinegar traps. Nothing! I also put fly strips all over the house and I was catching flies that way, but new ones kept appearing. I couldn’t find the source and I was going mad. I was practically in tears when I contacted Truly Nolen as my last hope. I filled out the online form late at night and got a call from the branch the next morning. They were able to send someone over within the hour.
Mike Paige came in to check out the issue; he took one look at the fly strips and identified the problem as drain flies. I brought him to the laundry room where the flies seemed to congregate and he immediately pointed to the washing machine. They were coming from the drain from that! I NEVER would have figured that out! Instead of trying to trick me into getting a full service, Mike simply recommended that I get some Liquid Plumber, pour it in the drain, and run the empty washing machine on a hot cycle. It worked! He didn’t even charge me since it was the free inspection! AND he helped me move the washing machine so I could get to the drain.
I am so grateful to Mike Paige and Truly Nolen for fixing this problem that’s been plaguing me for weeks! I’m super grossed out that I had drain flies, but they were gone within an hour of doing what Mike told me to do. Thank you, Mike! I’d recommend Truly Nolen to anyone who has a bug issue! They are so nice and quick.

I’ve been using them for years and I am now starting to think they don’t know what they are doing. I’ve had wasps in my living room for months now. This would be covered under my bee/​wasp policy. The problem is, they keep sending in technicians that look befuddled and have no idea where the bugs are entering from. Earlier today a technician suggested to light a fire in the fireplace in hopes to keep them out. Well, after the fire went out and the flue was closed I have counted 2 wasps alive and well in my living room.
If you want technicians to look befuddled, save your money and do the job yourself.

Very dissatisfied with the quality of service and knowledge of employees. The first man who came to give us a quote seemed good, quoting a good price per visit and we said we would proceed. Then a service technician came and had no idea what the quote was and started talking about different rates, had to call the initial man and ended up moving down the price. Then for a follow up visit I was home and he did basically nothing, told me to schedule another visit in a few weeks. I never scheduled another visit as I was dissatisfied with the service. I am fine with paying for the two visits but then they started billing me monthly, which no one ever discussed with me. I would rather take care of my pest control on my own, there is a very strong spray called daemon that I can get at ace hardware which is working great. Save yourself the aggravation of a sub par company and take care of it yourself.

Arranged an inspection visit at 11:00am. At 11:26 I telephoned the office to see where the inspector was. Just into the conversation and I was asked if I minded going on hold… mmm, actually I did so I asked why I was being put on hold. It turned out that Barbara wanted to take another call and leave an annoyed customer on hold while she talked to someone else. No — I don’t think so. I cancelled the inspection and have arranged another with Orkin instead.
Strike 1: Appointment not kept
Strike 2: Did not seem to think it was important to manage my expectations of when an inspector might visit. (That would be just a phone-​call)
Strike 3: No apology for wasting my time but further wanted to waste my time by taking another call instead of dealing with me.
If they display this very poor customer service in trying to win business what would they be like in either providing the service or trying to maintain it.
Too many alarm bells for me. I want a company that wants my business.

I just had the best visit you can have if you’re looking for pest control and dealing with a pest problem. I had Vincent Moavero come out to home and did a completely thorough inspection, helped me come up with a plan to protect my home from pests and a complete termite package — He is AWESOME!!! I highly recommend using them and if you get the chance ask for Vincent — he was great, nice, knowledgeable about my needs and very honest!!!

We’ve been using Truly Nolen for a little while now, and I’ve been pretty impressed with their services. I doubt they are the cheapest game in town, but after a series of frustrating experiences with a different company whose name rhymes with «Orkin», we wanted to see how they would do.
In addition to the bug services (they come by four times a year and we’ve been bug free the whole time), we also bought their one-​time rodent removal when a family of rats moved in to the attic. They took care of the problem over the course of about a week and plugged the holes they were coming in through.
A couple months later, another half dozen or so moved into the garage and would jump up into a small hole in the garage ceiling. I called them and they came back out for no charge and laid down some more traps. The only down side was that he was booked and couldn’t come back for three days to check the traps. Traps that were in the garage, in the Florida summer heat. I ended up cleaning out five traps myself so that the car and everything else in that garage wouldn’t smell like death.
I haven’t seen any since, though. And if I do, I can call back any time up to a year from the initial service and they’ll come out at no extra charge.
