I am a bat girl here and it is great. Bring your own seats and set them up on the gorgeous hill or sit on the bleachers. Games have raffles and free green tickets are given to kids for an autograph baseball. The food is delicious. Sometimes the line gets a little long, but it usually takes up to five minutes. The players are in college summer league, Cape Cod Baseball League. They put on a good show. Souvenirs are at moderate prices for shirts, hats, blankets and sweatshirts, but the rest is low priced. Everything is made of good material. This place is AMAZING!

There is nothing like a relaxing cape vacation with taking in a night baseball game here at Orleans Field on a warm summer night. Every spot has a great view of the game. Last summer we sat out there with a few blankets and cooler and watched a fun game for about six innings. Cheap entertainment and if you have children they will love it as well. Just be sure to pack the bug repellent because those little skeeter are out in force. Other than that it really is a fun time and I look forward every summer to get back there. Make sure to get there early to get the best spots for your chairs and blankets especially during the holiday weekends.

The northernmost Cape League baseball field, this is the home to the 2013 runners-up Orleans Firebirds. Get here at least 30 min prior to game-time to grab a decent parking spot. Admission is free, meaning finding a good spot to watch the game is another advantage of being timely. Bring food, drinks(we kept ours on the DL as we were unsure of the legality), blankets, chairs, and an umbrella. Bring a couple bucks for the pass-the-hat and the 50 – 50 raffle. For anyone staying or living north of Orleans, this is your home team for the excellent Cape League.
