The place to go for anything. Well stocked, well staffed and well trained!!! This place is old school but with the new stuff I want for my home projects. A must visit for any hardware aficionado.

I had made many stops here over the years to purchase BBQ items for my trips to Nauset beach. They carry disposable grills and coolers to take with you to the beach and they always have them. I have never struck out there when trying to find what I needed. Easy to find and plenty of parking for a quick stop. The cashiers are always friendly and ready to help you.

This True Value is unlike the two a frequent at home in the ‘burbs. When I’m down here on the Cape, little projects just pop up. With my level of skill that continues to diminish as I get older(thought it would get better) I need this little store. I go back to growing up in Cambridge and the hardware store in Porter Square that had this great smell of cutting oil, cardboard, metal and more. Yea sounds crazy but the smell of a hardware store tells me they are serious. This place has that plus the narrow isles with little boxes of screws and nuts, tools of all sizes and(wow have these changed) and even more and more. Go further into the recesses of this unique store and you will find it. The staff is so helpful and seem to know everyones. Great selection of barbecues, tools, oils, trash cans, and some real good stuff. Good pricing and they do not mark up for the tourists. If Home Depot is your cup of tea… stay off Cape.
