I brought some of my family here, 6 adults and a 3&6 year old. Everyone ordered something different and not one complaint on any of the food chosen even by the children. Fresh, great selections and great service!!!

Had the fish tacos. The cook was awesome! The server did take a while to take my order, so 4 stars instead of 5.

It’s rare that you find such amazing vegetarian friendly food on vacation, but the Artisan Kitchen was everything one could hope for. I have a severe food allergy and they were so careful and understanding. When I was disappointed I couldn’t have their sweet potato fries, they brought me out a big complimentary dish of their garlic truffle fruits… which were delightful! Delilah was one of the best servers I’ve had in my life. She was quick to help, offered suggestions, asked multiple questions to the cook, and was friendly too. I definitely recommend this place if you’re a vegetarian or vegan or a meat eater. They also have a lot of gluten free options. Delicious!

I didn’t know what to say to the suggestion of an egg on my burger, when I had already asked(rather tongue-in-cheek) for the bun to be replaced with gluten-free cinnamon raisin toast. I’ve eaten out a lot. I’ve had good service. But Artisan Kitchen was at the head of the list today, not just for the food, but the service. They were highly attentive to my wife’s peculiar food allergy(any kind of pepper will send her to the hospital), and generally treated us as welcome new friends. And the burger? What could I say other than yes? I got the egg on top, with bacon and mushrooms of course, and with a side of sweet potato fries. Truly amazing it was… If you have the opportunity and find this place on your list of possibilities, stop and give them a try. You’ll find out for yourself what the possibilities are.

We had family visiting Daytona Beach and decided we would drive up from Orlando and try this place out. It’s a nice place, clean, with a friendly staff. My spouse is a gluten-free vegetarian with allergies to shellfish so you can imagine how difficult it is for us to find a restaurant that caters to his allergies. The menu looked awesome, lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free items. Even the desserts were mostly gluten-free. I had the hummus and the chicken lettuce wraps. My spouse had the blackened salmon and truffle french fries. The rest of our party had the crabcakes and assortment of ravioli. The food was a bit underwhelming. My spouse felt that the salmon was a little too fishy for his taste. He did like the truffle fries. The rest of the family felt that the food tasted OK. The lettuce wraps consisted of several leaves of lettuce and cubed chicken with some form of an Asian marinade and water chestnuts. The peanut sauce for dipping was good. The crabcakes, I was told, tasted good. They were not fishy. Our desserts consisted of the peanut butter pie, Keylime pie, and maple pumpkin cupcake. The cupcakes were very dense and dry. The peanut butter pie was light and not too sweet. Maybe we’ll try the breakfast since there are so many positive reviews for it.

When I found out another breakfast joint(that shall remain nameless) was moving in two doors down I was terrified Mango Sun would leave. I was thrilled to discover they reinvented themselves into even more magic. In little Ormond Beach it is basically impossible to find gluten free food. You ask questions and people look at you like you have three eyes. The Artisan Kitchen has gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options in addition to their«normal» food choices. Our server was knowledgeable and if she didn’t know an answer she asked the kitchen to verify. We ended up with a reuben on gf bread and coleslaw, and a gf pancake, eggs over easy(but they were sadly totally cooked and I did not have a runny center as I hoped), bacon, and gf toast. The reuben was flipping amazing. I would come back if that was the *only* gf option on the menu. It was *that* good. Pancake was decent — would be better with a dash of vanilla extract in the batter. Gf toast wasn’t cardboard(which is often what you get in a restaurant). We will definitely come back! Reubens for all!

Stopped in for lunch while in the area. I am vegetarian and gluten free and the menu was very easy to navigate. They have symbols for everything. My non veggie friend had a burger and fries and enjoyed it. I had the vegetarian Ruben with a said of grits. The Ruben was really good on the GF rye bread. Ask for a side of their homemade bbq sauce… yum! The grits were good to, but not traditional. They were white and fluffy. The lost a star on dessert. They were out of cupcakes and chocolate cake was frozen. However the peanut butter pie which was gf was really good! Our waitress was very nice but we occasionally would get a whiff of cigarette smoke… not sure where it was coming from. Overall would recommend you check this place out if you like healthy fresh ingredients in your food :)

Gluten-free pancakes with real maple syrup and earth balance make for an outstanding breakfast at this beautiful eatery. Breakfast is served until 2:30 pm 7 days a week and Dinners are now available on Thu, Fri & Sat. Ask for any modifications on the menu… the chefs here are sure to please!

This is the old Mango Sun but it seems that not much has changed on the menu although they have added a few new items and the fresh squeezed orange juice is a permanent staple(thankfully!). Many different diet choices to please any palate. The atmosphere is quiet and very relaxing so makes it perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast or brunch. I ordered the cinnamon french toast, turkey sausage and side of grits. The grits are made with real cream and are amazing! The turkey sausage spiced just right and the french toast very tasty. Try it you’ll like it! Will definitely go back

First, it was very confusing because the name is changed to Artisan Kitchen. Apparently it’s under new ownership. Some of the menu is still the same. We came for the pineapple fritters. Unfortunately, we sent them back because they were nearly burned on the outside and raw and doughy on the inside. Their grease was probably too hot. Service was ok. Atmosphere was ok. If you are staying at the beach it’s really not worth venturing out the several miles. Overall… It’s just«ok». Not something to write home about.

Caters to GF folks and their a al carte menu worked great for my smaller appetite. Kiddos loved it too!

My favorite place in Ormandy. Try the Anne omelette!!! I had the salad with grilled chicken and their cranberry vingerette. They need to bottle it!

I had the garden eggs benedict and it was wonderful! Eggs were perfectly poached and the addition of spinach, tomato and red onion was a nice twist on a classic dish. The service however was way under par. Waitress did not come to table very quickly, wasn’t very friendly and checked if everything was OK with my food when I had one bite left. I had wanted to add a side of toast to my order after I got my dish and had a couple bites. Seemed pointless after it was almost all gone though. She never asked if I wanted more coffee, thankfully another server walking by filled my cup again. At $ 2.25 for coffee, I want more than 1 cup. My server seemed in a hurry to get rid of me, well it’s her tip that suffers. The place was not busy so no need to try and rush people out the door. I’ll be back for the food, but really hoping that service improves.

The orange juice and creamy grits are the best I normally get eggs and bacon but today I’m switching up and surprising my wife and getting corn beef hash friends say its the bomb. The wife says she’s real surprised!

Robust vegan menu, whether you’re looking for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! Everything the vegans and non-vegans in our party had was delicious. Awesome hash browns(ask the chef to make them crispy) and refreshing mimosas made with fresh, hand-squeezed orange juice. We spoke to the manager who was very friendly and pleased with their brand new menu. Mango Sun Café and Grille prides itself on catering to the dietary needs of customers. Impressively, they use separate cookware and dinnerware for gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian patrons to ensure no cross-contamination. I, personally, don’t fall into any of those categories but I appreciate and respect the efforts all the same. This is a restaurant worthy of revisiting.

They’ve just added a new co owner who is vegan and gluten free and thus are expanding their menu beyond their traditional items to include more vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. When I heard this, I had to go check it out because I’m allergic to wheat and dairy. I had the vegan, gluten free Reuben and it was DELICIOUS. I used to get one like it in my former hometown, Louisville, and despaired of ever finding something like it here in Volusia county. I was delighted to be proven wrong. My friends got the regular Cobb salad, BLT, and raw veggie pad Thai and all liked their dishes too, though they did wish the veggies in the raw pad Thai had been cut a little thinner. I’m so happy to have a place to go that can accommodate a mix of traditional and all eaters together at one table. I will definitely be back.

Amazing fresh squeezed orange juice everything is fresh and cooked to order– had a brunch(ish) Sunday meal and left stuffed and happy for less than $ 30 and we had Mimosa zzz… You for sure can tell the food is cooked to perfection by someone that cares about what they put out on the plate The noise level is a bit much but not enough to really care

This breakfast and lunch spot needs a disclaimer: must be over 60 for good service. Our waitress took orders rushing us, not nice. We asked for water and extra napkins. Only came by table to bring food. Then we reminded her of water and napkins, she says«oh Yeah, I forgot». Really?!? Food was ok but not great. Hollandaise is thick and bland. Crab Benedict croissant is a showing of crab only on the outer edge. Potatoes home fries were tasty. Coffee was hot but bland. When we arrived only about 3 tables but sure did get busy with the blue hairs before lunch crowd. Not worth it with so many other options in the area.
