Delicious flavors. Loaded with little bites of goodness. I had the salty caramel peanut and it was swirled with gooey caramel and peanut pieces. yummy. My husband has calypso crunch, our friend had apple strudel, and my daughter had bubble gum in a purple cake cone. We all left with happy tum tums.

Unbelievable ice cream! And unbelievable service, but the service wasn’t the good kind of unbelievable like the ice cream was. The owner was the rudest person I have ever encountered. If you’re going to brag about 63 different flavors, you probably shouldn’t get pissed off when someone asks to try one. If I spoke to my customers the way he spoke to us, I’d probably be out of business.

We went to ocean freeze on the way back from Daytona. It has a small neon sign in the shape of an ice cream cone. We got coconut almond fudge, vanilla, black cherry and rocky road. The coconut was super fudgy and everyone loved their ice cream. What a great addition to ormond beach! They gave the kids some trinkets as well!

I had an emergency! Needed a nice sushi platter immediately! Got it, it was awesome! Just as good if not better than any sushi restaurant.

Love this place! We go every time we are in Ormond and have never been disappointed. Great selection of flavors, great service and just a great little ice cream shop! Do yourself a treat and stop by.

I hate giving this place a bad review. I really really was excited to try out this place. My family and I wanted to try ocean freeze after discovering that they had Hawaiian shaved ice. My father loves Hawaiian ice. The place is neat and has a lot of character. The owner was a bit passive aggressive. He wasn’t rude but at the same time he was. My dad asked him what was his best seller and he answered with«everything,» even after asking him multiple times what the most popular thing was he said«everything is popular, everything is good.»… But we didn’t take it as a big deal. Our shaved ice was terrible. No syrup, no taste and expensive. We bought 5 medium ice’s and our total was $ 15… He could have given us more syrup and it would have been a lot better. I mean the cup costs more than the ice and flavoring together and he charges 3 bucks. BUTTTT the icying on the cake was when the owner was explaining how the touch screen(square product) worked and commented on the fact my dad did not tip. Seriously? That is a no no… We spent 15 bucks on frozen water and sugar flavoring and you want us to tip.(Plus he’s the owner not a minimum wage employee).

Ice cram was tasty. The owner is polite and generous. Prices are reasonable. However the place is very small for a large group

Eric(the owner) knows how to do ice cream! Wonderful flavor combos, freshly made waffles for the sundaes & the cutest little shop. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is a must stop for Ice cream, shave ice, sundaes & shakes. Try the lizard sundae, but make sure you have a friend(or two) to share it with.

On our way out of town, we stopped in for an ice cream treat. Not knowing what to expect here(the location seems a bit dodgy), we were pleasantly surprised by how unique and delicious it is. 74 flavors of ice cream and shaved ice, with an unlimited combination of both. The owner is obviously a proud local, supporting his community, and I can always get behind that. It’s even better when such a person also has a terrific product. Stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

Awesome ice cream, literally 100’s of favors. Very fresh & delicious ice cream with big portions. Also a good selection of cones. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. A fun place to eat. Best ice cream place around.

Wow after thinking I had the best ice cream ever in Flager, I found its equal in Ormond Beach. The owner is genuine and friendly. He gave us a taste of carrot cake flavor and wow it was on point. So many flavors, but I went with Carrot cake and salted caramel. I was shocked how good this ice cream was. Oh 2BIG scoops were 5 dollars and I think its cash only.

The saleswoman was aggressive and rude, it made it hard to support a local business. I feel as though I can’t return!

It’s amazing how an ice cream parlor of this magnitude can exist in such a small space. This place has it all delicious ice cream in so many flavors, shaved ice as soft as snow drenched in endless nectars that refreshes the body and calms the soul. This is old Florida at its best, it lacks everything the chain brands represents, this is a non modern dispensary of goodness, the owner has created a fun friendly family atmosphere with personality where it’s okay to joke and laugh and forget the fast pace world that exist outside the door. Step inside to experience what most of us have long forgotten — ice cream really does create smiles :-)

Great little neighborhood ice cream shop! You can’t beat a $ 3 scoop in a waffle cone, and the ice cream is delicious! It doesn’t seem like they’d have room for over 50 flavors, but they had them all and it’s good quality. Chatted with the friendly owner for a while and enjoyed our visit immensely!

For a little Ice Cream Parlor in a Strip Mall, this place packs quite a punch! Eric has every flavor you can imagine! While waiting for your masterpiece of enjoyment, you can try to soak up as much of the décor as possible in such a short time. Enjoyable photos of customers, and their Pets cover a large wall, which you won’t have time to view in one visit. YES. I said Pets! This place is so Pet Friendly, they even serve Pet Sundaes! This is a must visit if your just passing through, or a weekly adventure if you happen to be lucky enough to be local! Hats off to you Eric! You nailed it when it comes to a neighborhood Ice Cream Parlor. Can’t wait for my next visit! Might even be as early as tomorrow, this time with the Wife!

I drove by here the last time I was on vacation and a man dressed in an ice cream cone was dancing on the sidewalk and I knew I had to come back and try it. My boyfriend wanted to go to Baskin Robbins, but because they have them in LA I told him let’s try this place. I’m so happy we did! We walked in and were greeted with big smiling friendly faces and were shown their extensive ice cream list and shaved ice. It took a few minutes to take in all the choices because there were so many and there is a list of descriptions for the flavors. I had the elephant ears and my boyfriend had the coconut almond fudge in a waffle cone. The elephant ears is vanilla ice cream with semisweet chocolate shaved chunks and peanut butter bits(think Peanut Butter Cups PB, but better). The coconut almond fudge(self explanatory) was very good too and not overly sweet. I had a small waffle cone(it was actually a lot more ice cream than 4 oz, more than I could eat at once) and my boyfriend had a large waffle cone and it came out to about $ 9.50. A little pricey, but we got a LOT of ice cream for what it was worth and it was delicious. I figure I don’t eat ice cream every day that it is worth a splurge. You can’t really sit and eat here because the place is so tiny, but with the beach across the road I think I’d rather sit at the beach.

Surfing lizards and scream Ocean Freeze is a little ice cream joint not far from the beach that just had it’s grand opening. Some great home made ice cream and treats, I suspect it will continue to do very well here, especially once the warmer weather starts. Lot of different flavors and sundaes with some really cute names. I got something called the Surfing Lizard. I don’t remember all the stuff that was in it but it definitely was something special. Not a large place but it does have some tables and chairs inside and a couple of tables out in front so you can watch the traffic go by while you devour your scream. Lots of cool and unusual stuff on the walls and even a rather odd statue of Jack Daniels in the men’s room. An eclectic décor to say the least. The people working here were great, very friendly and wanting to really know what we thought of the scream we bought. This is definitely a cool place for some cool and different types of treats.
