It could be a fun place but the food truck that was there had a really noisy generator. Here’s hoping that in the future the food trucks will be allowed to hook up to the brewery’s electricity. Tasty beer I’ll be back to try some more.

This place is amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and Gilbert made us feel like we were in his kitchen. Very welcoming. Gilbert’s hospitality was 110%. He took the time to educate us on each beer we had. Ordered 3 flights of beers and all of them were amazing! It was raining so we could not enjoy the beautiful beer garden. Loved the garden! Very nice and clean. Bathrooms very clean. Definitely coming back! Worth it! Some of my fav brews: Matanzas Back Water 80 Shilling Breakfast Brown Ale The Dude — took a growler home!

Great local brewery we found after spending the day at Daytona Beach. The beers were outstanding — had everything from a pumpkin ale to a watermelon beer. Definitely plan on making this a must stop while driving the coast!

Great little local brewery. Staff was extremely knowledgable and friendly. We tasted several beers and they were all good. You can buy a taste of 4 different beers, a pint of your favorite or fill a growler to take home and enjoy. Definitely will return.

This is a true gem! My boyfriend and I go regularly. We will be moving soon and definitely missing it! The beer is excellent, service is fantastic and atmosphere is very relaxing. If you’re looking for a nice, low key night this is the place! Drink some great beer, listen to live music and play some giant Jeng… Doesn’t get much better!

A small brewery tucked away in an industrial area with quite a few delicious brews to offer. Staff was friendly and helpful in selecting a beer, and took a picture of our group for us. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be sure to stop by!

I give it five stars only because it’s a local brewery and we need many, many more of these and everyone should visit. Technically, it only qualifies for four stars because of the location. You’ll find this place in the back of a warehouse park — follow the signs to find it and hope one hasn’t blown away. My friend and I visited on a Sunday afternoon while Gilbert was working. He was friendly and let us sample the local brews if we had any questions. Every single beer I tried was delicious in its own way. I wouldn’t necessarily drink each one because it’s not my normal style, but they were good. The bar is a little small and cramped. Hopefully they will be able to grow and move the taproom to a larger location soon. Outside was a patio, but in this Florida heat it would have been unbearable. All-in-all, I would definitely keep coming back to the place and everyone else should too. :)

Great place to go for home brewed beer. They have a neat place to hang out even though we stayed inside. They also helped us find a great auto repair shop for us! We are on vacation but will come back when we are in the area.

Love this place! OBC is the best place in town to grab a craft beer. All the beer is made on-site by very talented brewers using the best ingredients they can find. The taproom is tucked away in an industrial park and can be a bit difficult to find but is totally worth it! The bar is beautiful and the beer garden out back is the best one I have ever been too. Taproom manager Gilbert takes great pride in his beer garden and takes great care of it. There is a very interesting and exotic assortment of plants, flowers, and herbs. They usually have live music and catering or a food truck on the weekends. Take the time to find Ormond Brewing Company and enjoy a delicious hand-crafted beer in a beautiful garden!

What a cool little place for Ormond Beach. Very excited to see a local brewery here and well, it’s about damn time! :) Took a few friends to check it out last week, and wanted to try ALLTHEBEERS. We ordered 3 flights which had a taste of everything they had available on tap, and the 5 of us started figuring out our favorites. Now this was a little bit difficult to do, with so many and no cards to tell which is selection was. I tend to gravitate to the IPAs, and the Tomahawk was pretty good, but there were a few reds in there that were very nice.(Just not sure of what the names are.) The stouts needed a bit of work, but please, keep brewing! Other reviewers were right… this place is in the back of this particular industrial area, but there are a few signs that will point you in the right direction, so keep your eyes peeled. When you walk in, there is a little L shaped bar and a flat screen with what’s on tap for the night. Walk outside, and there are the usual brewery suspects: connect four, giant jenga and a few picnic tables. The fire pit is pretty cool, but the coveted seats were spoken for long before we got there. Also wanted to mention, this place is dog friendly, so feel free to bring the pup. All in all, 5 stars for the killer, off the beaten path location, 3 for the beer(please keep at it! OB needs you), so rounding out to a 4 star overall. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

Tucked away in the back of an industrial park is a hidden treasure; The Ormond Brewery. Inside you’ll find a warm welcoming taproom with a crew led by Gilbert, the knowledgable and cordial taproom manager. The beer is brewed on site, and is absolutely delicious! Outside you’ll find a beer garden, formally named«Gilbert’s Garden», where you can find some of the ingredients used to brew the beer. Additionally outside you can find a fire pit, giant jenga, giant connect 4, and an overall good time.

This is truly a hidden gem. Nestled in an industrial area, they have a nice tasting room and an amazing beer garden. They make all the beer in the house, we tried a couple flights and many of the beers were really good and the bar tender was good. They fill growlers and I saw them fill many while we were there. Nice addition to the area.

I really enjoy coming here, but I had to add an update because there is one detail that rubs me the wrong way, and that is allowing kids at the tasting room/beer garden. I mean, this is a bar, I come here to relax and be inappropriate if I feel like it, so I don’t want to watch my language or where I blow my smoke. Besides, I don’t understand people that would bring children to a bar on a school night. Perhaps a «no people under 21 allowed after a certain hour» sign would help. Just saying.

What a great HIDDEN gem. If you can find it, you will be very satisfied. 10~12 beers on tap. Everything you can imagine. All were good and a few were great. Great place to spend a lazy day trying everything from a Saison to a Chocolate Stout.

My favorite spot in all of Central Florida. I’m a foodie but I love craft beers even more. I love that I have such a wonderful place so close to my home. I prefer the hoppy to dark ales and OBC does not disappoint. Although I’m not a Mug Club member yet, the staff make me feel welcomed and still lets me try new products not quite ready for the public. I love it here! My favorite beers thus far(i.e. after only two visits and having just moved here in July 2014) are the Bootlegger Series(I bought the last 4 tonight), the Tomahawk Red IRA, Breakfast Brown, 40 Weight Dry Stout, and I liked their new Oktoberfest better than most I’ve tried. I want to join the mug club even though I prefer to drink out of the 9 oz snifters!

A great local hideaway. I love coming here, chatting, trying a few brews and playing games. Bring your own games and stay as long as you like. They provide bug spray which u need as there’s much more seating outside than in. No food but again feel free to bring your own. I LOVEITHERE!

We truly adored this spot. There is a nice sized beer garden with all sorts of fun activities like corn hole toss, giant sized connect 4 and Jenga. The beer garden also sports plenty of sitting spots — we like the picnic tables, it gives you a chance to meet others. Beer lovers tend to be social animals and a pint or two can get the conversation flowing smoothly. Oh, and by the way, Ormond Brewery’s beer is brilliant too. We opted for two flights that covered all of their beers on tap. Fight 1: Cool Me Down Brown Ale, Tomahawk Red IRA, 40 Weight Stout(dry stout), and Full Steam Honey Cream Ale Flight 2: Big Belma IPA, Black Water Black IPA, Pepin Le Fat(Belgian strong), and Cream Ale Hoppy Girl’s favorite was the Pepin Le Fat. Hoppy Boy’s favorite(surprising nobody) was the Big Belma IPA. We both also loved the Red ale — it was a bit hoppy but plenty of malt to balance it out nicely. Reminds me a bit of Sierra Nevada Celebration.

This is Ormond’s first brewery, and I was so excited to hear about it! I was able to join their Mug Club, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owners are very down to earth and awesome, and their beer is top notch. I live in Lake Mary but will be driving there just to enjoy the beer and the good company(besides, the nearest breweries are 30 minutes from me anyways, and I might as well drive a little longer to go to a place where I feel welcome). Definitely make a point to visit the taproom, you won’t regret it. **EDIT: Regarding the business hours, I believe they do growler fills from 4 – 6 through the week, tap room is open Th-F-S.
