Kimmy is excellent at doing hair. She is passionate about her work and makes sure you feel amazing when you walk out the door. She is also very sweet and engaging while being a true professional. The place is gorgeous and the rest of the staff and stylists are always smiling and helpful. If you live anywhere near Oro Valley, or even if you don’t, check out B2 Salon!

I went here specifically to see a certain stylist and was happy with the color correction she did for me after several other salons failed. What I did not like was the owner looking over her shoulder and telling her to do things that I did not want done. The owner seems like a very unhappy person that has no confidence or faith in her employees. Now that the stylist I went to is gone, I won’t be going back.

Kimi the salon owner is super awesome. Love my hair. She read my mind. The prices are amazing and the service is so amazing. Will continue coming here! The hair products are amazing. The salon owner gives back by helping the homeless, animals, families and more! You will be happy here. I promise.

I recently moved out of town and I had gone to this salon a few times to have Hunter Wolfe cut and color my hair. She did a wonderful job! She did a base color with highlights and long layers and I was very pleased! I would highly recommend Hunter!!!

It’s been a year since I moved out to Arizona and I finally decided to cut my hair. I did some searching on google and found this salon and even though I saw it was pricey, I wanted to know I was going to like my hair cut!!! I went on Wednesday afternoon around 2 and it was completely dead and was helped right away. I told the Stylist what I wanted and she helped me and showed me I should go with certain layers in my hair which was really helpful. I got my hair throughly washed cut and blow dried for 45 $ I am so happy with my hair!!! I’ve been debating for months whether to cut it and wanted to drive back home when I got there but I’m so glad I didn’t. The salon is really nice inside too. And the lighting is good!!! I hated going to salons where it’s like they have every light bulb on and you look x25 uglier in the mirror cause it’s so dang bright. This one is perfect and I’m really glad I went!

I felt like I was in an episode of Tabitha’s Salon Take-over. My stylist was new to the shop so the owner came over to monitor her work. I completely understand an owner wanting to do this but the way she went about it was terrible. The feedback that was given to my stylist by the owner was delivered in a VERY rude manor. The owner then turned her back and walked away as my stylist was talking to her! The owner also insulted my hair by asking, «is this home-colored?». The professional and polite was to ask that question is, «who normally does your hair?». After this encounter my poor stylist lost confidence which then made me nervous she was going to screw up my hair. In the end, my color came out great but I will never go back because of unprofessional behavior.

Just got home from having my hair cut and styled by Diandra and all I can say is AWESOMESAUCE! This salon is beautiful! And they go above and beyond the other salons I’ve been to since I moved here 18 months ago from Phoenix! Diandra is a sweetheart! She listened, asked questions, and checked in with me throughout the entire cut. When she was done she told me that she’d be calling in a few days to see how I still liked my cut, and if there was anything out of place I should come back and shed fix it. What?!! Yup…she said that. I’ve NEVER had a stylist who cared this much… EVER! Looks like I found my new salon and my new stylist!

I walked into the store to buy a Kevin Murphy shampoo and the girl at the front desk refused to sell me the shampoo without me buying the conditioner. Both items were priced SEPARATELY. I told her I had no need for the conditioner and I just wanted the shampoo. She told me that they worked together and that I had to buy them as a set. I told her that I had never heard of HAVING to buy an item if I didn’t want it. Another girl at the salon told her to just sell it to me and then asked me if I had ever used them before. I told her I had and that I don’t know why it was a big deal and that I would just buy the shampoo online. They both seemed annoyed and acted like i was the one being unreasonable. It was absolutely ludacris that I was not sold a shampoo that was NOT part of a set. So I am assuming that if you go in to buy a hairspray, be prepared to buy a root booster and a serum as well. Ridiculous!!!

Alright my fellow hair enthusiasts, here we go! You’ll notice that I gave this place five stars which is a very rare thing for me to do when it comes to Unilocaling about junk. I believe I handed out only a few five star reviews and one of them went to the Tangerine Landfill. By the way, I was over there again last week and my review of that place still stands. Anyway! This review is about B2 so let’s get down to it. I ended up at B2 one chilly winter night after being told by Sports Clips(which is right next door) that I would have to wait an hour and a half for a goddam haircut! The chick working there had more sass than a Catalina Foothills High School student. She was all up on her high horse, thinking she and her pals were top shit with their new scissors and shiny razors. I was like, pffffft! All you chubby, rugged, low to the ground, two-bit, cheap Sports Clips chicks can take your razors and shove ‘em! I’ll go elsewhere! So I kicked that door open and walked out like a boss. On my way back to my car, I turned around to flip off Sports Clips for good measure when I noticed a sign that read B2 Salon(very classy sign by the way, the owner has good taste). So I waltzed in there. Mind you that this place looks like its geared toward women and their clientele supports that. I mean, it’s a hair salon for Christ’s sake. Now, I’m a secure, metro male and definitely have no qualms about going into places like this. So I sauntered in there with my head high, shoulders back, and I rocked that shit like Mackelmore sporting a flannel, hand-me-down onesie at a club. And let me tell you, I’m glad that I did. For you men out there who think this place is a little too«girly» for your taste, knock it off. Open that door and get yourself in there. It’s better than that rinky-dink outhouse next door which they call Sports Clips. There were only a few gals walking around when I showed up because it was closing time. During the day, you can expect to see most of the booths full. I told one of them about my dilemma and that I needed my ears lowered before skipping town for the holidays. Despite being the end of the work day, one them agreed to cut my hair. God bless her soul and her booth. This gal was by far one of the friendliest ladies I’ve ever met. I thought to myself, she must be Canadian! But she’s not and I learned a hard lesson in making assumptions about women. This place is freakin baller status, top to bottom. Very nice chairs, desks and equipment. Makes the Sports Clips next door look like the men’s restrooms at Sabino Canyon. And the B2 women are beautiful! You can tell they know their shit just by looking at their do’s. They got style; they got smarts, and they got talent! I’ve had the opportunity to return to this fine establishment later, and I’m not lying when I say that you won’t find any better place to get your hair did. Make sure you schedule an appointment via the facebook page or give them call. Depending on what you want, prices vary but are not unreasonable. I usually throw down twenty for a trim and a wash. Make sure you tip those hard working ladies. Don’t be a Eugene Krabs guys. You won’t be disappointed when you step foot into this house of angels! Five Stars go out to the divas at B2. Stay Vigilant people. –Joey Rockafella
